Lorenzo Selva 1960 - 2012

In today's early morning the nautical world loses another character Lorenzo Selva, a brilliant entrepreneur, standard-bearer of the Made in Italy, exhibitor's historical and great lover of the sea. Also active at an institutional level and strong supporter of sailing, was vice President of Ucina since 2002, and President of Icomia-International Council Marine Industry Association, the world Organization. Lorenzo Selva was born in 1960, and was married with five children. He managed Selva Marine with his brother Maurizio.  Like his brother Ezio, and brother Maurizio he had a big passion for outboard motors and competitive racing, and at the age of 19 he won his first championship in Sweden. Selva marine today employs over seventy people, who produce outboard motors, ribs, and motor boats and has a turn over of thirty million Euros annually. Good navigation Lorenzo Selva!
