New Model: Van Der Heijden 2000 Superior

Van Der Heijden presents the new 2000 Superior which is also the first in a new range, adding to the other four within this Dutch builder. The Superior will be an interesting challenge from Holland to other med looking yachts, and the 2000 is the first twenty metre model putting this challenge. Van Der Heijden should follow it soon with other Superior models and a 2400 is already in construction, and will be followed later on by a 27 and a 33 meters which are waiting for a unique owner on the drawing board. The new Superior series meets also the growing demand outside of Holland for a steel yacht with flybridge, and a hard chine hull. Impressive numbers are a constant feature in the 2000 Superior from its low weight for a steel construction of 38 tons, and a good performance achieving a top speed of 30 knots with twin 825hp Iveco engines. The 2000 as expected from a steel construction is also a custom built and hull one had a four double cabin with three shower heads layout. The owner cabin is located to aft. Galley is on the main deck looking to aft, and here you also have a large C-shaped relaxing sofa, and dining C-shaped table to fore. The flybridge also shows Mediterranean or sunny climates thinking thanks to its extended design.
