World renowned US production boat builder Monterey Boats updates it World wide virtual showroom. Founded in 1985 Monterey is an independently owned family company and today it operates from Central Florida, in the USA. The world headquarters of Monterey is located in north Central Florida at Williston, strategically located to less then an hour drive from the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic ocean. The two main manufacturing plants one for sport boats, the other for cruisers and sport yachts comprise a total of 500,000 square feet situated on eighty acres adjacent to the Williston Airport. Here Monterey employ over five hundred full time boat builders who construct the current range of twenty two models in four different ranges; Sport Boat Collection, M Series, Supersports, and Cruisers & Sport Yachts. The smallest model is the eighteen feet 184FS from the Sport Boat Collection, flagship is the 415SY of the Cruisers and Sport Yacht range, and the latest is the 328SS Anniversary of the new Supersports line. New Model: Monterey 320SY Sport Yacht

Monterey Boats unveiled the third of the company’s 2009 new models all announced during the annual dealer meeting in August, and the cream of the crop was the 2009 320SY Sport Yacht. The 320SY Sport Yacht with a length of over ten metres and a spacious beam, was the larger of Monterey’s new line up and completes the range of eight cruisers ranging from 26 to 41 feet. Featuring European styling and a forward extended arch, this new model raises the bar in style, and is packed with amenities above and below deck, defining luxury and performance. For example dual extra wide seats are situated at the helm for the driver and passenger, and a large fiberglass sliding door with extra sized integrated steps leads to the foredeck easy. If you want more luxury you can also include the optional 16,000 BTU cockpit air, cockpit television, and the Flexiteek inlay for the swim platform. The 320SY Sport Yacht can also be equipped with the industry’s most revolutionary advanced propulsion and navigation systems, including Volvo’s new gas EVC or MerCruiser’s exciting Axius. Edgy, contemporary interior lines and a full fiberglass headliner highlight the style down below. The cabin is rich with luxury and elegance, with Sapele African mahogany wood trim, wood mini blinds, an enclosed fiberglass head and fully appointed galley with sink, designer faucet, dual burner electric stove, coffee maker, microwave and cabinets. The full size vee berth has a quilted mattress cover, privacy curtain and storage underneath, as does the comfortable island berth with luxurious UltraLeather, perfect for overnights or just quick naps between destinations. Completing the vast array of entertainment amenities is a 22 inch flat screen TV.

New Model: Monterey 260 SCR

Monterey Boats expands their cruiser lineup of new models for 2009 with the new 260 SCR Sport Cruiser. The new medium sized entry level Monetery strikes for its exterior lines and yacht like exterior styling. Outside one finds the standard c-shaped seating or an optional sun pad configuration, to port there is a conveniently located wet bar with solid surface insert, sink, faucet and storage. The helm station dash features centered electronics, and the extended swim platform completes the exterior features of the 260 SCR. A large fiberglass sliding door with extra-sized integrated steps leads to the foredeck. Accommodation down below, offers a four berth interior with a newly designed fully equipped galley with Karadon counter tops, cabinets, single burner electric stove, refrigerator, microwave and stainless steel sink. Other interesting features are the synthetic wood flooring and the optional 15” TV DVD player.

New Model: Monterey 280SCR

Monterey Boats continues to grow their cruiser lineup with the new 280SCR Sport Cruiser. The new cruiser, one of three 2009 debuts, has an overall length of 29 feet and an expanded, spacious and comfortable beam of over 9 feet. Monterey has also added the popular option of sun island aft seating, in addition to the standard box seating configuration. You can plot a course for your destination in Monterey’s new 280SCR Sport Cruiser thanks to the gel-coated gray dash housing all of the necessary instrumentation at the ergonomically-designed helm station, along with a comfortable companion seating arrangement featuring flip-up thigh rise and a convenient fiberglass storage compartment underneath. The helm also stays cool thanks to an extraordinarily designed air duct that feeds from the cabin. The cockpit also features an expanded entertainment center with optional refrigerator. Access to the engine compartment is a breeze with electronic engine hatches, and plug-and-play wiring makes service hassles a thing of the past. A home away from home is the best way to describe the cabin, which can accommodate thanks to its ample space, storage and sleeping arrangements throughout. Cook meals with the fully-appointed wood-trimmed galley and enjoy them at your dinette table, which easily stores back away into its dedicated storage compartment. You can also enjoy the optional Sirius Satellite stereo package, monogrammed linen and dinette set with silverware and 15” TV/DVD player.
