New Model: Ilver 42 Mirable Open

It is always difficult to touch a born classic, and this is basically the story of the Mirable from Ilver, presented as 39 in 1991, reworked to 41 in 1999, and now after two decades of its productions becomes the 42.  Few models have lasted so much as the Ilver Mirable and interestingly the same hull has always been used; extended about a foot with the 41 version below, and the super structure also changed next to little.  This latest 42 version actually presents the biggest changes up top of the trio created in the past two decades plus, with some neat touches happening on the foredeck, restyled windshield which still respects the original, and changes to the radar arch which now seems more upright. The Ilver Mirable can actually taunt other models for being pretty much unchanged in twenty years plus, and not many builders can make such a claim in any of there models.  The 42 Mirable Open comes from Ilver after the company presented the HT version a couple of years back, due to demand coming from the customers, and now the company presents these changes in this version.  For the rest the 42 Mirable Open keeps the properties of its predecessors of a three double cabins lower deck still impressive considering the not so much beam, and a cockpit which would not look out of place in much more sports orientated boat.

Ilver New Web Site

Ilver from Italy presents its new World wide web showroom. Ilver was founded in 1965 in Lissone, a town in the province of Monza near the city of Milan.  At first Ilver created a name for high quality small cruisers and runabouts. This was further extended in the eighties with Ilver growing over the forty feet size in this decade, and at the new millennium it presented a new 58 flagship model named Vista still at today in production.  The Vista along with the smaller Scuba where both innovative models when presented in the Genoa show of 2002 for the fact that they where the first large hard top sport yachts to have a layout with a galley up, and a lower deck reserved all for overnight cabin accommodation purposes. Today Ilver has a line of nine models starting with the since nineties produced seven meter Nyuma, and the 58 Vista flagship.  Ilver latest model is the recent redevelopment of the much appreciated Mirable now standing two feet larger.  But in real facts this model has been produced with small stylistic changes since 1992 as 39, then it became a 41 in 1999 and again changing in 2010 to the 42 model.  In Italy the Ilver Mirable has one of the strongest resale values thanks to its timeless classic lines and three cabins interior, something still as at today hard to find in a sport cruiser around the twelve meter mark.  Ilver's new website is available in Italian, English, Russian, and Chinese language and takes you round with the following buttons; Home, Mission, Ilver, Dealers, Range, Press, and Contact.  As is custom today Ilver has also its social media pages; Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, all linked from the website.

Project: Ilver 42 Mirable Open

A legendary model from Italian builder Ilver, which after presenting the first update of the Mirable with the 42 HT version in Genoa 2007, continues its evolution with the project of the Open version, aimed at replacing the 41 Mirable after 10 years of successful production. The new 42 Mirable Open is identical to the HT version in function, giving the much sought 3 double cabins and the well sized galley on the main deck. What you will be missing is the hard top, but thanks to this the Open version has classy sporty lines as tradition from the Mirable model since its launch in 1991, offering good looks but also spacious space below. Power will be from twin stern drive propelled, Volvo D6 at 330hp, or the bigger 370hp option.

New Model: Ilver 42 Mirable HT

A long established sport cruiser on the Italian market, this is the Ilver Mirable produced since 1991 first as 39, then from 1999 as 41 and since 2007 the new 42 Mirable HT version has been introduced. The Mirable has been a successful sport cruiser in its story adding to the fame Ilver has enjoyed on the Italian market. Now the model gets redesigned with the hard top, and some other important modifications as requested by the estimated clientele of the builder. Among the notable differences is a more extended deeper bathing platform, the wet bar unit now standing in length to the boat and offering a full galley convenience, the helm dash featuring a more modern design and also the profile of the upper deck is also now fuller and two inches higher adding in all this a tucked in sunpad to fore. The interior has also been redesigned with the main change in the saloon divan now a c-shaped replacing the old l-shape, and the third port cabin which used to be a single or double berth now enjoys 2 single berths as the starboard cabin. Engine options for the Mirable is the latest twin Volvo D6 330 or 370hp, with the propulsion being stern drive. In the past Ilver used to offer also a shaft propeller option, for those seeking easier maneuverability, less maintenance and better sea keeping but so far this option seems not on offer.
