A brand new Nordhavn 100 was launched at Hong Kong in September as she undergoes final commissioning and prepare for her maiden voyage to the Philippines. Her American businessman owner has named her Safe Passage. Based on the Nordhavn 96 design, Safe Passage is the second N100 built but she differs dramatically from the first N100 which features a five-foot California cockpit and fishing deck extension built for the original buyer who was an avid fisherman. Nordhavn's project manager Trever Smith said this second N100 is incorporated with a traditional cockpit for a grand outdoor entertaining space that also allows for interior space gains as well.
