Project: Riva 56 Open

Riva continues to push forward, and at the first important World boat show of 2017 presents a new project for a 56 Open model.  Again a design to Officina Italiana of Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, Riva designers since the early nineties the 56 Open presents itself as a huge day sport yacht with spacious exterior spaces, offering a central sun-pad, L-shaped dinette, L-shaped passenger settee, wet-bar galley area, and helm station.  The interior will offer two large owner and VIP cabins, midships and forward, with a separate crew cabin.  In between the cabins is an L-shaped saloon and galley.  Power for the 56 Open will come from Man 1000hp or optional 1200hp engines with estimated top speed being in the region of 39 knots with the large optional choice. Currently under construction the Riva 56 Open hull one should launch in late Spring, and will feature a shark grey color.
