New Model: Chaparral 310 Signature

US boat builder Chaparral presents the new 310 Signature model. This model is the first follow up to the 400 Premiere flagship launched in 2008, and takes full advantage of Chaparral patented Wide Tech technology. The 310 Signature gives style, more storage space, higher cabin headroom, and further performance. Chaparral says that everywhere you look from the helm, transom area, even the galley you see innovation. On the topside, the new 310's standard fiberglass open hard top provides all weather protection and is reminiscent of cruisers ten feet longer and twice as expensive. In the cockpit, you get a feeling of total security wrapped in unmatched luxury. Two cockpit seating options meet every need. The 310 also features a new cabin door, carefree single level cockpit, redefined helm seating and the fine workmanship. Below decks, the 310 Signature offers space efficiency, with sleeping capacity for six. The aft cabin has considerably more headroom than previous offerings and a clever optional air mattress system in the salon eliminates old-fashioned filler cushions on a boat that introduces a space saving power ease forward berth that retracts at the flip of a switch. Showcasing a super clean look, the cabin is built with a fiberglass inner liner that even includes a ceiling liner. An over sized LCD television is mounted on a swivel bracket for viewing in both the salon and forward berth. Fittings are in lighter wood tones of Chaparral's River Cherry cabinetry. Clever touches abound in the 310 Signature use of space like the filler cushion for the aft cabin which is part of the backrest, and the side mount cabin table stows in its own space under the dinette seat. Various power options power the nine metre plus ling 310 Signature sport cruiser from standard twin Mercruiser 220hp to Volvo's 270hp, and a 190hp diesel engines choice.
