New Model: Absolute 52 Fly

For 2023 Absolute presents its new 52 Fly model, a sixteen meter flybridge motor yacht full of comfort, and class leading accommodation .  The second generation 52 Fly follows the design theme as Absolute Design and Research Lab outlined with the 60 Fly in 2021 and followed with the 56 Fly last year, with this sixteen meter flybridge motor yacht doing the third act of this future looking design.  The new Absolute 52 Fly is a modern flybridge motor yacht, which features an unusual layout of an owners stateroom forward, and the VIP room at midships.  A third cabin with twin berths is located to starboard, with a guest shower head serving the two guest cabins located to port side.  An optional crew cabin is also available in the Absolute 52 Fly, which if you option does not affect the glazed stern parapet open gunwale design.  The Absolute 52 Fly has a living main deck with an astern galley layout, a lounging which becomes dining C-shaped dinette forward, and a side door equipped helm station featuring a direct access to the open gunwale for easy side mooring.  Of note in the Absolute 52 Fly are the flybridge which again is one of the most spacious in this size and is optionable with a hard-top, and the fore deck spaces which is another class leading act.  Falling short somewhere, I would say the performance of the Absolute 52 Fly is not really breath taking, with a top speed of 28 knots and a cruise of twenty, and a 190 nautical miles range.

Project: Absolute Navetta 70

During the Cannes 2023 boat show Absolute presented the project for a new Navetta 70 to be launched in 2024.  The Navetta 70 is an evolution of the Navetta 68 launched in 2019, just a tad over two feet longer and mimicking the evolution Absolute did with the 75 flagship from the 73.  This evolution is mostly about the stern, with the new design embracing the cockpit terrace, a feature which Absolute introduced in 2021 with its 60 Fly model and since then has been making it into all its newer models.  The cockpit terrace re-invents the aft area with vertical opposite settees giving un-interrupted views from the glazed stern, and easier cockpit bathing platform socialization.  But the evolution of the Absolute Navetta 70 does not stop there, with the extra 74 centimetres in length giving a larger aft deck, and a complete new flybridge design available in two Upper Deck A and B choices.  For the remaining the Absolute Navetta 70 does not change much from the 68, including the very liveable saloon with astern galley layout, and the four double cabins lower deck, with floating between main and lower deck VIP suite forward, which might make an owner think if this or the midships stateroom the one to go for. The Absolute Navetta 70 is powered by twin Volvo 1000hp with IPS pod drives.

New Model: Absolute 56 Fly

Launched in the second half of 2022 and replacing the 58 Fly after a five year production run Absolute second generation 56 Fly brings the latest ultra modern lines of the Italian brand, where everything revolves around huge windows.  It is probably one, if not the most modern flybridge motor yacht in its size, but it is a modernity with benefits being the only one in seventeen meters offering three heads as standard, largest forward VIP suite, and two flat berths in the crew cabin aft.  The Absolute 56 Fly also offers green technology benefits with solar panels integrated in the hard-top being able to sustain basic energy needs when at anchor without the use of a generator.  The 56 Fly is powered by twin Volvo 600hp and is, please don't say again another Absolute IPS powered boat.  Speed is for 28 knots max with a cruise of 22 allowing for a range of about 250 nautical miles.

Project: Absolute 52 Fly

Absolute present the project for a new 52 Fly, which follows the basis of design as launched by the 47 Fly model in 2019, followed by the 60 Fly in 2021, and the 56 Fly in 2022. The 2023 Absolute 52 Fly is the second generation 52 following a same launched model in 2013, with this new project being based on a completely new hull which is some twenty centimetres wider, and about sixty centimetres longer to the mark one. The Absolute 52 Fly follows all the latest concepts of the Italian builder, from a glass cockpit aft deck, to fore-deck lounge dinette, and the shear line drop which creates uninterrupted views from the interior of the main deck.  The interior of the second generation Absolute 52 Fly sees an astern galley main deck layout, with a lower deck offering three double cabins of which is a largest in the category owners stateroom forward, and a guest VIP suite at midships.  All of this comes without sacrificing a third guest cabin as even this comes with standard two in line berths.  The 52 Fly is to be powered by twin Volvo 600hp with IPS pod drives, Absolute propulsion of choice since 2007.

New Model: Absolute Navetta 75

During the Cannes 2022 boat show, Absolute presented its new Navetta 75 flagship model. An evolution and replacement of the Navetta 73 Absolute introduced in 2018, the Navetta 75 while looking different is based on the same hull and adds length, more glazed surfaces, and reinvents the stern layout.  Indeed like the smaller newer Absolute models, the Navetta 75 features an aft terrace cockpit with a glass rear parapet allowing undisturbed views, to the aft looking sofa. The Navetta 75 has interiors with a living-dining on the main deck, separate galley to port side, and two settee helm station forward.  A crew cabin with two cabins sleeping three is located aft, and features access to the engine room from port side.  The Navetta 75 flagship is powered by twin Volvo 1000hp and like all its smaller sisters and new Absolutes since 2013 has IPS pod propulsion.  The Absolute Navetta 75 has been well received in its first Cannes outing winning the Best Interior Design World Yacht Trophies 2022.

Project: Absolute Navetta 75

Absolute present the project for a new Navetta 75 project, what represents the largest build to date by the Italian boat builder and a replacement to the current Navetta 73 flagship.  Absolute is calling this new project the Absolute Sphere a design set to expand the Navetta range. Absolute chose the sphere, a symbol of perfection and harmony, to describe an explorer yacht that embodies all the essential values and distinctive features that a new project should have.  The Navetta 75 incorporates the shipyard’s most unique features and style, the strengths that set it apart from competitors: in line with the new Fly range concept, the Navetta 75 project brings on board a terrace cockpit and the owner’s cabin at the bow. The new flagship includes also large windows, high ceilings and spaces designed on a single level, both on the main deck and on the lower deck. Navetta 75 comes with two other Absolute style highlights: easy movement on board and ultimate privacy for the owners, their guests and crew. Indeed, from the main deck you can easily access the flybridge both from the aft and from the bow, thanks to two separate stairs. A dedicated crew area can be easily accessed from the cockpit, without interrupting the owners and their guests.  With Navetta 75, Absolute proves once again that research can be used to elevate design and meet needs onboard, from sliding doors to generous storage compartments. Absolute provides impressive solutions once again by offering beautifully designed external and internal areas for good times with friends and family and for absolute versatility in the flybridge and cockpit areas, with modular furnishings with no fixed structural elements.  No power details are announced but imagine a pair of Absolute 1000hp with IPS pod propulsion as the Navetta 73 the 75 replaces.

New Model: Absolute 60 Fly

Absolute present its new 60 Fly model, an innovative flybridge motor yacht which shows a new way of interpreting the aft deck, designed with the principle of open verandas which leave the owner and his guests to enjoy the view.  Absolute has called this concept Prisma and thanks to the glazed parapets balustrades give an open view on both the aft deck and the flybridge.   But the innovation on the Absolute 60 Fly does not stop on the outside as even the layout of the lower deck is totally re-invented with an owners stateroom located forward.  The master stateroom is a redefinition of space and design with the double bed looking aft, and the shower head located forward.  The other two cabins offer a VIP suite located at midships to starboard, and third guest cabin with twin berths located to port side.  A third guest head is located to port  side before the third cabin.  As all Absolute the 60 Fly Prisma is powered by twin Volvo 725hp with IPS pod drives which deliver a top speed of thirty knots and a cruise 23 knots with a consumption of 9.5 litres per nautical mile.

New Model: Absolute 48 Coupe

It's been a while since Absolute made a sport cruiser, and  now the Italian boat builder returns in the segment with the fully enclosed but very open when desired 48 Coupe.  While in the last decade Absolute has been all about its flybridge motor yachts between fifteen to twenty meters, the first decade was all about its sport cruisers especially the first generation 41 and 45 models, which scored sale successes even in the very closed British market.  The Absolute 48 Coupe shares hull with the 47 Fly model with the same lower deck layout of three double cabins, with the master room located forward and looking to starboard.  The main deck of the Absolute 48 Coupe is an astern galley layout, with an open stern just as the new 60 Fly which makes the aft deck become an infinity lounge when desired.  But the tricks of the Absolute 48 Coupe do not stop in the infinity aft deck, and continue with the large electric openable windows on the main deck, and the solar panels on the hard top which generate 2 kw of power.  The Absolute 48 Coupe is powered by twin Volvo 480hp with IPS pod drives.

Project: Absolute 56 Fly

The result of engineering innovation, Italian design and a passion for details, enters the latest project by Absolute the Piacenza-based shipyard is called 56 Fly.  Featuring a strong, confident personality, 56 Fly was created to be noticed and to fascinate boat owners with a proven mix of comfort and fine design, but also innovation, functionality and on-board convenience.  “Charisma” encapsulates the essence of Absolute’s new craft, which brings together and builds on the most successful features of previous boats. With 56 Fly, Absolute has undertaken intense Research and Design work to enhance those hallmarks, including the revolution of the Flybridge Generation 2022 that began with the 60 Fly launched in 2021, which introduced a new construction approach developed to ensure freedom of movement, ultimate versatility and liveability.  Along with a relaxing bow area with sun loungers and sofa, the outer aft areas are free of fixed elements, so they can be easily furnished as desired. To meet all needs, Absolute provides modular, versatile décor solutions for the entire range.  The visual boundaries between the boat and the sea vanish thanks to a transparent parapet in the cockpit, the open gunwales and the large windows with electric winder in the lounge area.  The magnetic personality of 56 FLY is also expressed in its interiors, featuring comfortable, modern spaces, inspired by Absolute’s signature focus on ease of use.  Liveability culminates in a full beam owner’s cabin at the bow, designed to provide ultimate privacy and comfort, but also an outstanding view through panoramic windows; its interiors are embellished with sophisticated design, transparent details between cabin and bathroom and textural contrasts. As spacious as a second owner’s cabin, the VIP cabin is also full beam. The sleeping area is completed by a third full-feature cabin with single beds, complete with every comfort and with the same ceiling height as the other cabins.  Freedom of movement is the common thread throughout the interiors, connected by sliding doors and enhanced by surprisingly large windows for breath-taking morning views, with plenty of natural light flooding into the cabins.  There are numerous stowage areas to improve comfort in the sleeping area as in the living area, which also features a contemporary kitchen.  No power details are given for the Absolute 56 Fly as yet.

Improve-it = Absolute 50 Fly

In the fall of 2020 Absolute improved and updated its 50 Fly model.  A second in size model in its Flybridge range which today starts with the 47 Fly, the 50 Fly has been updated outside and in a lot of smaller details. Why over do it when a model has success and demand in its current format. The main visible difference from the original 2017 50 Fly comes from the fiberglass dividing plate on the large main deck window which now is smaller, and gives uninterrupted views to the guests inside.  Interior layout the 50 Fly is unchanged, with its astern galley layout serving both inside and outside with ease being unchanged.  As are the three guest cabins in the lower deck which includes a midships full beam owners room that is also still the same.  The 50 Fly also features a crew or surprise guest cabin berth aft.    The Absolute 50 Fly improved version comes powered with Volvo's 2020 presented 480hp engines up from the 435hp which deliver that bit extra in performance, with top speeds up to around 29 knots.

Project: Absolute 60 Fly

Absolute approaches the start of boating season creating high expectations for the Generation 2022 new models. A very optimistic opening awaits Absolute thanks to the launch of a brand new range, as well as two exciting new models.  The first revolution will take place with the 60 Fly project a completely new model called and a motor yacht that will redefine the range with new ground-breaking design elements never seen on a Flybridge boat of eighteen meters in size, such as the Owner’s quarter at the bow and the aft cockpit terrace, free from any fixed furniture elements. The 60 Fly by Absolute reveals an overturning of perspectives, an evolution for the range and for the owner, with versatile life on board and liveability of the spaces.  A new perspective is offered by the bow master cabin, thanks to the owner’s quarter concept: a cabin which takes up the full beam of the boat, unprecedented on a 60/70-foot yacht. The cabin is raised from the lower deck, the ceiling is high, and the array of textures and colour choice for the interior design will satisfy even the most refined tastes. The atmosphere is sophisticated and relaxed, dedicated to the owner’s comfort and privacy: the walk-in wardrobe, the vanity with a sea view, and the wide side windows to feel fully immersed in nature complete the ambience.  The exterior lines are now enriched by elegant transparencies, thanks to the glazed balustrades that offer breath-taking views from both the fly and the cockpit: the latter, thought without fixed elements, can be furnished at the owner’s taste for the first time.  From the aft cockpit there are two comfortable staircases, ideal to reach the wide platform to enjoy a terrace just above the sea; the ample dimensions of the platform offer a comfortable entrance to the crew cabin, through the pantograph door concealed in the transom.  On the upper deck, the Fly area offers a second open-air salon totally immersed in the surrounding landscape, whose generous dimensions are just waiting to be lived: al-fresco galley and dining area, lounge space, high-tech helm station are framed by elegant design lines, colour contrasts and refined finishes.  Even the bow area is designed for maximum versatility of use thanks to a comfortable sofa with table, a sunbathing area, and music: social boating and privacy, all in one, day and night.  The Absolute 60 Fly boasts the latest generation technology, featured in modern and ultra-accessorized dashboards, with clear instrumentation always at your fingertips. Both helm stations on the main deck and flybridge have double piloting seats, ergonomic and modern. From the main deck dashboard, a very wide windscreen, with minimized and rounded side support pillars, guarantees an unobstructed view of the horizon. Even on the flybridge, a safe navigation topped with conviviality is ensured, thanks to the sofa and sundeck placed next to the helm, allowing the captain to drive with company. A third mooring station is also available at the stern, which can be integrated in a dedicated cabinet in the cockpit on starboard side, equipped with joystick, bow thruster control and engines ignition panel.  Great care for the furniture as well: on board the Absolute 60 Fly modular furniture can be adapted to the actual use. The areas are dedicated to the social moments with family and friends, to enjoy panoramas in complete freedom: various configurations are available for the owner to choose from, in order to fully enjoy the on-board life as desired. The green attitude of the shipyard proves itself thanks to the opportunity of integrating the solar panels into the hard top to ensure a lower environmental impact. Moored at anchor, the owner can enjoy the silence completely immersed in nature, by using solar energy to operate the essential services on board, without the continuous use of generators. The safety standards fear no competition even with larger models, and the spaces usability is top-notch both for the storage and for maintenance and spaces inspections activities. The Absolute 60 Fly is to be powered by twin Volvo 725hp with IPS pod drive propulsion.  Launching of hull one is planned for June 2021.

New Model: Absolute Navetta 64

The already-complete Navetta range has expanded with a tangible expression of generous and open-minded engineering. All of Absolute’s best features have been implemented as well as some amazing onboard innovations. The Navetta 64, The Absolute Pathfinder, like her siblings has the Navetta DNA and it easy to see why. The wide and uninterrupted side-glass window, which runs from the aft mirror to the windshield, outlines her exterior shapes. These are characterized by the significant enlargement of the bow windows and the opening of the side gunwales in the cockpit in the Beach Club version, the transom can be turned from a large storage space into an actual double cabin at the water’s surface sealed tight with a fully-glazed, certified watertight access door. Beach Club by day and VIP cabin with an en-suite head by night: this alchemy is made possible thanks to the placing of the crew cabin, with two berths directly accessible from the second starboard-side door.  Aboard the Navetta 64, all spaces are designed to offer the maximum enjoyment of each cabin, always panoramic and bright, thanks to unprecedented-sized windows. In addition, the spaces are furnished and refined with everything you need to feel just like at home, without any sacrifices. The flybridge has a far greater width than found on any other nineteen meter yacht. On the main deck, the salon is surrounded by frameless glass windows, offering breath-taking panoramas. The comfortable sofas, the large table, the entertainment area, and the galley easily connect to the cockpit. The entire main deck is overlooked by a raised helm and a massive windshield of over three meters, curved and frameless for absolute visibility. Below deck, the master cabin is placed in the bow with a king-size berth, large side windows, and a full-beam head. The VIP suite really stands out: its liveability is astounding and the materials selected are simply exquisite. Furthermore, the third cabin is a double stateroom with single beds. Absolute Navetta 64 is powered by twin Volvo 900hp and or optional 1000hp engines, with IPS pod drives.

Project: Absolute 48 Coupe

Absolute 48 Coupé inaugurates a new range for the North Italian boat builder, and sees the shipyard in Podenzano return to a sport cruiser offer sub fifteen meters, which is how the Italian builder offer actually started in 2002 and 3 when it was founded.  The main novelty of the 48 Coupe aim at a new concept of life aboard, with solutions to reduce the energy consumption and stimulating new levels of comfort and liveability, thanks to the use of solar panels on the coach roof.  Outside in the above rendering the Absolute 48 Coupe seems to be very much based on the 47 Fly model, with identical hull windows and featuring new stern design.  Super structure is also completely new with everything again as per rendering above looking leaner.  The Absolute 48 Coupe is to be powered by twin Volvo 480hp with IPS pod drive propulsion, which will give top speeds up to thirty knots and a cruise of 25.

Project: Absolute 50 Fly

Absolute present the project for a new 50 Fly, a model which stands rather close in between the 47 and 52 Fly model. The 50 Fly is similar to the 52 in form, function and layout with everything being that bit smaller, and comes from the brain storming of the Absolute Research Lab.  The 50 Fly offers three spacious cabins and two heads, plus one crew cabin aft accommodation layout. Owners room is a midships full beam affair, while forward we have one VIP suite, and a third guest cabin with two inline berths to starboard. The main deck will feature an L-shape stern galley layout, while the flybridge as in Absolute fashion is one of the most spacious in its size. The Absolute 50 Fly will be powered by twin Volvo 480hp engines located centrally but still with IPS pod drives as propulsion. Volvo IPS propulsion has been used in all the Absolute range since 2012, with the company starting with the technology on the 56 STC in 2006 in both double and triple power configurations.

Improve-it = Absolute Navetta 58

During the 2020 Dusseldorf boat show, Absolute presented the new 2020 version of the Navetta 58. Launched in 2014 the 58 apart being a success for Absolute was the model which debuted the Navetta range for the Italian builder.  Now six years later to the launch of hull one the Italian Piacenza builder decided its time for an update. Most of the update in the new 2020 version comes from outside, with new large and different shape hull side windows, and a radar arch which looks back from the previous forward looking version, and this adding also a larger hard-top. These details will make it easy for people to recognize the new Navetta 58, 2020 and beyond version. But the changes do not stop there and for 2020 thanks to Volvo, the Navetta 58 will be powered with twin Volvo 550hp engines. The interior layout is mostly unchanged with a three cabins three head layout lower accommodation deck, and an astern galley with dinette opposite on the main deck.

Improve-it = Absolute Navetta 52

During the 2020 Dusseldorf boat show, Absolute presented the new 2020 version of the Navetta 52.  Launched in 2016 the Navetta 52 has been a success for Absolute, now four years later to the launch of hull one the Italian Piacenza builder decided its time for an update.  Most of the update in the new 2020 version comes from outside, with new large and different shape hull side windows, and a radar arch which looks back from the previous forward looking version, and this adding also a larger hard-top.  These details will make it easy for people to recognize the new Navetta 52, 2020 and beyond version.  But the changes do not stop there and for 2020 thanks to Volvo, the Navetta 52 will also feature the option of large Volvo 480hp engines.  The standard options are still the same for Volvo's 435hp with IPS pod drives, while the interior layout is mostly unchanged with a three cabins two head layout below deck, and astern galley main deck.

Project: Absolute Navetta 64

During the Dusseldorf boat show 2020, Absolute presented the project for a new Navetta 64, which will sit in between the 2019 Navetta 68 novelty, and the just redesigned 58 models.  The Absolute Navetta 64 sees Absolute think out of the box for the lower deck layout, with an important option also revolving around the stern area, with an option for a Beach Club version.  The Beach Club version will feature two fixed up glass water tight doors, which open to a cabin that can transform to a fourth cabin with sofa which transforms to a double berth VIP cabin with private en-suite shower head to port side.  The lower deck layout of the Navetta 64 will feature as the other two bigger and smaller Navetta's a forward owner stateroom, with a midships VIP cabin to port side, and a third cabin to starboard.  A crew cabin is located to starboard with a private entrance from the aft deck.  The main deck with an astern galley will all be flush deck, with the exception for three steps leading up to the central twin seat pilot station.  A lot of thinking also went in the Navetta 64 to increase the glazed surfaces area on the main deck and as the above rendering shows the side bulwarks are left open in order to increase the view from the interior and saloon dinette areas to the outside.  The Navetta 64 will be powered by the large Volvo 900hp as standard and or optional 1000hp engines.

New Model: Absolute 47 Fly

Absolute new 47 Fly represents the getaway for the Italian brand, who since its inception in 2003 have seen its client and fan base featuring an interesting growth.  During the initial years of the brand the smallest model was the 25, and now today it is the 47, which is even larger then the flagship model of the beginnings which was the 45.  This new 47 Fly replaces the 45 and although part of the Flybridge range from Absolute is an interesting cross model, as it takes in looks and ideas a few features from the Navetta range.  The three double cabins two bathrooms lower deck layout for example is similar to that of the Navetta 48, with the cross-layout of the owners stateroom forward having a lot of similarities, with the extra beam and length of the later offering that bit of extra space.  The 48 Navetta here features a difference having the choice of a crew cabin aft.  The 47 Fly as all recent Absolute features an astern galley layout, while the flybridge looks to be one of the largest in its size.  The Absolute 47 Fly looks bigger then it is thanks to a lot of vertical use of space.  The Absolute 47 Fly is powered by Volvo's new 480hp with twin IPS pod drives propulsion.

New Model: Absolute Navetta 68

Absolute continue to expand and with this new 68, the fifth model in the Navetta range which today expands from 48 to the 73 flagship model.  The Navetta 68 is also Absolute third in size model, and sees the North Italian brand make an important presence above the twenty meter size, filling the gap between the 62 and 73 models, and offering a slightly smaller alternative to the flagship in a similar four cabin layout.  There is a lot of things to like, but its four cabin layout seems really coming from a motor yacht about two meters larger.  But do not be mistaken the Abolsute Navetta 68 is also a revolution of space and size on the main deck, and the flybridge. The 68 Navetta is also one of the few models in this class and size that has stayed true to an astern galley layout.  Performance wise the Absolute Navetta 68 is powered from twin Volvo 900hp or optional 1000hp engines.  Hull one was equipped with the smaller 900hp units and delivered an interesting top speed of 25 knots and a cruise of 20.  A long range speed of ten knots gives about 600 nautical miles of autonomy, which is good but not spectacular when you have a name and the looks of an explorer yacht.
Technical Data:
