Improve-it = Nord Star 37 Patrol

Following the demand on its flagship the 40 model, Nord Star decided to introduce a flybridge option for its 37 model.  The flybridge is reached from a staircase to port side of the aft deck, and features a central helm and an L-shaped settee behind it.  The flybridge makes a welcoming addition for those who like to drive more in an open air enviroment and adds also the benefit of an extra entairtainment area up top to use when the weather is fine.  The Nord West 37 Patrol is a traditional cruiser with some hints of pilot boat in its looks, and features a two cabin interior with sleeps five in two cabins, plus additional two more in the convertible saloon settee.  Engine choice is a max of 900hp, with twin Volvo 370 units and stern drive propulsion allowing for a max speed of 38 knots.

Project: Nord Star 34 Patrol

Nord Star announces the next evolution in the Patrol series model range to be launched. The Nord Star 34 Patrol will be a new design from bow to stern, yet not compromising on the features the Finnish brand is well known for: seaworthiness, reliability and comfortably living on board.  Inside the 34 Patrol will feature a twin cabin interior with an owner double berth to fore, and a totally separate three berths second cabin to midships under the pilot house.  The pilot house on the main deck offers the main living area with an L-shaped saloon settee to port and opposite entertainment area.  The galley is located below, in the forward cabin area.  Power choices have not yet been announced but the rendering does show twin stern drives.

New Model: Nord Star 28 Patrol Super Sports

At its Floating Show for International Press Nord Star introduced a new version of the ever so popular Nord Star 28 Patrol first present in 2004. This new version is named 28 Patrol Super Sports, due to the strong power and great performance. The Super Sports is equipped with twin Cummins Mercuiser 350hp diesel engines. The top speed of the Nord Star 28 Patrol Super Sports was measured at 48 knots. At 37 knots, which is the most economical fast cruise speed. The boat handled thrillingly well and the trip was smooth and silent. Although we used a fairly innovative coloring for this boat, the distinct features of the Nord Star model range are still very visible.  Accommodation is a four berth layout in two convertible dinettes; one below and another on the main deck behind the pilot station.  A complete shower head and galley are available below decks.
