New Model: Magazzu M16

In December 2023, Magazzu launched its awaited modern and different first M16 unit.  Designed by Claudio Magazzu the M16 distinct's itself from previous Magazzu, offering a different and radical look, and is also build with semi-rigid tubes, and a full deep walk around design.  This  new Magazzu flagship feels less a rib, and more a yacht then previous models.  The Magazzu will also feature, thanks to its deep walk around design a full fore to aft deck use, with a centre console layout and exterior galley and dinette behind and covered by the T-top.  The cabin layout of the Magazzu M16 welcomes you below deck with an L-shaped settee, and features a master cabin forward, and a guest double berth at midships with  two heads. Project: Magazzu M16

Magazzu have leaked information of a new M16 currently in build.  Designed by Claudio Magazzu the M16 is to be the second largest Magazzu build to date, following the MX-18 Coupe which apparently has been so far delivered in only one unit.  The new M16 seems also to be a new M-range, which is a departure from the long standing MX range.  The M16 is a walk around design with a central console, and a hard-top which covers a third of the deck. A construction detail will be the rigid tubes and the cut-out in the bulk heads which give side views and an environmental contact.  A central helm station will feature a wet-bar behind, with a dinette aft, and a central sun-pad.  To foredeck is another sun-pad with two opposite settees further forward.  The interior is reported to offer a two cabins layout, both with en-suite shower head, and a saloon in between the cabins.  The Magazzu M16 will also offer a novelty in its power solution and is to be powered by twin Volvo 600hp with IPS pod drives.

New Model: Magazzu MX-13 Gran Coupe

Magazzu present the new MX-13 Gran Coupe, a further evolution of the 13 Coupe which launched in 2007.  The MX-13 Gran Coupe is a novelty and at the same time a restyling of the 13 Coupe which lasted thirteen years in production.  The new MX-13 Gran Coupe improves cabin space to the previous version thanks to an extended re-designed deck house which is longer and also a bit higher.  The Magazzu MX-13 Gran Coupe hull one is powered by twin Mercruiser 430hp gas petrol engines with stern drive propulsion which give top speed up to fifty knots.  Further engines up to twin 600hp are possible with estimates of top speeds up to 55 knots.  The first unit of the Magazzu MX-13 Gran Coupe was commissioned by popular Italian celebrity Jerry Cala who is a fan of the brand.

New Model: Magazzu MX-14 Coupe

Magazzu launches the first of its MX-14 model series, the Coupe.  This will soon be joined by the Classic version which features a smaller cockpit and longer fore deck, and more spacious interior.  Nonetheless the MX-14 Coupe has also a not so bad cabin layout inside, considering the massive full space outside you get from fore to stern, including two large L-shaped dinettes in mid cockpit.  The cabin offers sleeping accommodation for four persons in a double master cabin to fore, and a convertible L-shaped saloon.  A shower head serves guest to port side.  A galley is located outside behind the centre console helm.  Power is always a variation of what the customer needs on all the Magazzu's with max engine power available up to twin engines totalling 960hp, and stern drive propulsion.  Hull one featured the large Volvo diesel stern drives choice of twin 400hp units.

Project: Magazzu MX-16 Coupe

Magazzu seems set to continue to upgrade its range of Rib Cruiser and Yachts and presents the project of its second in size model the MX-16 Coupe, two meters shorter to its current flagship the MX-18.  This new project from Magazzu follows the core concept of the R.I.B. line from the Sicilian island builder of performance with a three steps deep Vee hull being used.  Accommodation wise the MX-16 Coupe is offered in two plans. A two cabins, single head, L-shaped saloon, and galley is standard. An alternative layout is a single master cabin this being larger and added with two L-shaped bunks by the side of the bed, two heads, L-shape saloon, and a dining area.  In this second option the galley moves on the main deck with the helm station being a two seater instead of the standard three seats center console, and is located to starboard.  Power options are varied and go up to 1600hp with surface props or stern drive propulsion choice.  Top speeds of 55 knots are estimated with the larger engine choice.

Project: Magazzu MX-14 Classic

Magazzu the rib Sicily builder presents the MX-14 Classic.  With this new project Magazzu also present the Classic line; which in my understanding takes this title for its fore flush deck, and windshield which give that retro touch to this rib cruiser.  Inside the MX-14 Classic will feature an interior with a separate owners cabin to fore, L-shaped settee for four persons which convets to a double berth, galley, and a shower head.  Outside the MX-14 Classic welcomes guest with two sun pads, a bench settee, and a center console covered by a hardtop in a T form.  Power is from twin engines up to a total power of 960hp.  The twin step hull can reach top speeds up to 45 knots with max power units installed.

New Model: Magazzu MX-11 Coupe

Magazzu is making a huge statement in the large rib cruisers sector presenting interesting models.  Most important some of the large models still have the feel and usability that a rib should offer while still presenting over night accommodation for two below.  This is certainly the case for the MX-11 Coupe presented by Magazzu in 2012.  The full exterior of the MX-11 Coupe are indeed complimented by a cabin which sleeps two in a Vee shaped berth, and featuring a shower head to starboard side.  A galley is located outside behind the centre console on the large main deck.  Power choices start at 500 and go up to 900hp with max speeds estimated of 60 knots possible with the large options.
