New Model: Contest 52MC Flybridge

Dutch builder Contest launched the second version of its very good looking 52MC motor cruiser, the Flybridge.  A builder mostly known for its sailing cruisers and yachts from 42 to 85 feet, the Contest 52 MC was launched in 2013, in what is today known as the Fastlane, and after a very good customer feedback, the Medemblik boat builder was quick to follow it with projects for four other versions; Flybridge, Open Sport, Classic, and T-Top.  So far Contest has delivered versions of the Fastlane and Flybridge.  Designed by Georg Nissen and Vripack on engineering duties, the Contest 52 MC is one of the best looking motor cruisers on the market today, if conservative lines, practicality, and substance are your thing.  The Contest 52 MC does very good things without overdoing, although it does score high points on deck movement for its high bulwarks walk around deck.  The Contest 52 MC Flybridge has eight deck choices, four for the lower deck, and four for the main.  The choices are endless here from a three cabins two head layout, to a two cabin with large owners forward suite, to a lower galley layout.  The Contest 52 MC Flybridge also is conservative for its engine power, with twin Cummins 305hp standard power.
