Project: Amasea 25 meter

Amasea Yachts is a new yacht brand that introduces a new approach to traditional catamaran design by building in aluminum instead of fiberglass, and having three decks instead the conventional two. Designed to cross the Atlantic without refueling for long-range cruising and exploration, with sufficient dry and cold storage to remain at sea for up to six weeks without re-provisioning, the first 25-metre model has exterior design and naval architecture by Dr. Albert Nazarov, a specialist in high-speed catamarans. Production will be limited, offer a high level of customization to clients, with free choice to bring their own interior designer, and use top quality materials for the construction and outfitting. With an overall length and beam similar to the most popular industry players around 78 feet, the Amasea 84'/25m has an extra deck level and a dedicated service area for the crew. Having three decks instead of two introduces much more flexibility in terms of layout. The master suite, for example, can be on the main or lower deck and the yacht is designed with two galleys: one for guest use and a smaller one for the crew.  Amasea Yachts is setting up its own shipyard in Turkey to build the hull and superstructure in 5083 aluminum alloy. The hull will be specially reinforced for world cruising in high latitudes. Another new concept is that the interior decor is entirely up to the owner, who can engage his or her own designer. The idea is that the yachts will be finished at a shipyard in Italy or the Netherlands and negotiations are ongoing.  The first 25m unit is expected to take 18-20 months to complete, but subsequent build times will be 13-16 months with a maximum production of seven units per year. A hybrid propulsion package is also envisaged.

New Model: Ferretti Custom Line 106

On Thursday 7 March 2019 the second member of the new planing range by Francesco Paszkowski Design, the Ferretti Custom Line 106 took to the water at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona: a world-class facility where all Custom Line production processes take place.  The Custom Line 106 stems from the partnership between the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and the Product Strategy Committee led by the engineer Piero Ferrari. It embodies a new horizon in perfection, with meticulously clean-cut lines and large spaces steeped in simple sophistication, offering unparalleled comfort for the owner.  The design of the lines on the bottom and the hull helps it to replicate and build on the outstanding hydrodynamic performance of the latest models in the brand’s planing range.  A minimalist design spans the interior and exterior, while the surfaces merge into each other in a display of architectural balance that breaks down the boundaries between the spaces.  The large, interconnected floor surfaces which total 220 squared meters are another distinguishing feature of the Custom Line 106. The entire interior design scheme in this first unit has been customized to cater perfectly to the requirements of the owner, in accordance with Custom Line’s famous tailor-made style.  The interiors of the main deck are bathed in natural light thanks to the large, full-height windows. The full-beam master cabin is in the fore-deck and there are four standard cabins on the lower deck: two VIP cabins amidships and two twin ones forward, all with separate bathrooms.  The Ferretti Custom Line 106 is standard powered by twin MYU 2217hp or optional 2638hp engines.  The Custom Line 106 will be unveiled for the first time in June during the Venice Boat Show, at an exclusive event for a select group of owners. The official presentation will take place in September, at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Project: ISA Yachts Gran Turismo 45 meters

ISA Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, is pleased to announce the sale of a new 45-meter superyacht from the GT Gran Turismo series.  This new construction represents a new era for the Gran Turismo line of the Ancona shipyard, which became famous following the delivery of the 66-meter and 43-meters models.  Designed by Enrico Gobbi for the exterior design and Luca Dini for the interior, this project with steel hull and aluminum superstructure combines style, sportiness and dynamism.  ISA GT 45 is already under construction at the Ancona shipyard of Palumbo Superyachts and will be delivered to its owner in summer 2020.  For her exterior profile, Enrico Gobbi has revisited some of ISA Yachts characteristics such as the pronounced external arches connecting the hull to the superstructure and enriched with distinctive sports cars features such as the fancy air intakes.  The silhouette is slender, with strong and flowing lines.  The volume of the superstructure has been deliberately concentrated astern in keeping with the proportions typical of a sports coupè car.  Despite its slender exterior lines, ISA GT 45’s interior space is impressively roomy so to easily accommodate eight guests in four large cabins and a luxurious full-beam master suite with balcony and private direct access to the bow sunbathing area.  The large-size windows run along the profile, providing the master cabin and the main salon with breathtaking views.  ISA GT 45 accommodates a crew of up to seven and provides a range of 3500 nautical miles at a speed of twelve knots.  Among her most individual features, in the aft section are worth mentioning the largest swimming pool ever seen on a yacht of this length and the beach club/ gym with glass doors at sea level.  The interior style by Luca Dini is contemporary, a fair balance between precious and natural materials with the addition of some “high-tech” elements such as carbon mainly used to make the bespoke furniture assign timeless elegance and precious emotions to the superyacht.
