Project: Rose Island 12 Giano

Rose Island has always been very intuitive of market trends, responsible to no small part to the Down East lobster boat success in the Italian market.  Rose Island and its design team; Mario Alfani exterior, Aldo Gatti hull, Fabio Rosa engineering, and boat builder Stefano de Franceschi offer a fresh approach to the Explorer Cruiser presenting the 12 Giano project. A two cabin four berths, with a living on the main deck, the 12 Giano also features an unedited keel shape coupled to an innovative exterior which merge Pilot ship like super structure with a modern ax-bow hull shape.  Interesting looks and content, what strikes in the technical details is the 12 Giano two thousand liter fuel storage capacity which is 30% more to the usual standard in this size.  This allows for a greater range which at a cruise speed of eighteen knots give 440 nautical miles autonomy.

New Model: Riva 11.8 mt Rivamare

In a surprise event at the end of June, Riva unveiled the new Rivamare model, a sport cruiser which its heir to the dynasty of the wooden runabouts which gave fame to the Italian name.  At 38 feet the Rivamare is an expansion of the range and sits in between the top selling long produced Aquariva and Rivarama models.  Continuing the since 1991 dynasty of Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta Officina Italian design, the Rivamare offers interesting external spaces, and lower deck accommodation for two.  All this is followed by the unique attention to detail Riva delivers.

Project: Sea Ray L550 Fly

Sea Ray became a serious contender in the luxury yacht market with the debut of its L-Class line-up three years ago, and the new L550 Fly will only further cement this status. Blending Sea Ray lines with a modern Europe aesthetic, the L550 Fly is, like its larger L-Class siblings, a seamless blend of style and substance. Throughout the yacht, advanced technologies enhance comfort and ease of use, including vacuum infusion structures and a state-of-the-art digital switching system. Livability is exceptional; the lower level features a luxurious full-beam master suite with resort-style head, as well as two additional staterooms and a guest head. On the main deck, a sprawling, sunlit salon with galley opens to a large, social cockpit, where options including a grill and sunshade encourage gathering.  Perhaps the most defining feature of the L550 Fly is its well-appointed flybridge, geared toward entertaining a group with ease. The upper helm station, as well as the standard lower helm, will features latest electronics. Twin Cats 850hp inboards are available with joystick control for effortless docking, and an available Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizer will adds comfort to what is already a reassuring ride.  Official presentation at Fort Lauderdal boat show in early November.

New Model: Rio 38 Parana

Rio is a builder to watch in recent times and the 38 Parana designed by Marino Alfani is an important entrance ticket to its renovated range.  Replacement to the good looking 36 Air the Rio 38 Parana with a bit more length brings important novelties to the twelve meter sport cruiser sector.  The 38 Parana does all this by staying in the small boat under ten meter registry.  One of the most interesting details of the 38 Parana is for sure its lower deck layout, available in three double or two large cabin plan choices. In the large two cabin option the two midships cabins are replaced by a spacious full beam owners room with private en-suite head at midships. The 38 Parana also improves the exterior cockpit and now is a full flash deck no step layout with open convivial spaces.  Power for the Rio 38 Parana comes from twin Volvo 300hp engines which give max speeds up to 35 knots.

Project: Mares 64 Yacht

Mares present the project for a 64 Yacht power catamaran designed by Robson Design from New Zealand.  Featuring a very interesting exterior profile the Mares 64 Yacht is to be offered in two lower deck layout plans, offering five or five double cabins.  The 64 Yacht offers interesting accommodation solutions, which apart the size which one would accept from a Catamaran of this size also features for example a day head on the main deck, accessible from the aft cockpit. To be IPS pod powered the Mares 64 Yacht is an interesting offer in this growing segment.

New Model: Viking 72 Convertible

Viking recently launched its new 72 Convertible, heir to the 70 what is was considered by many the reigning champion of blue-water tournament contenders. A strategic merge of speed, performance, fishing prowess, and distinguished luxury, the new Viking 72 Convertible represents the excellence and attention to detail the New Jersey builder is known to bring. The new Viking 72 Convertible offers a three double cabin interior, sleeping seven and room having own private en-suite heads. Engine options start from standard twin 1550hp Man, and go up to twin high performing 2635hp MTU.

Web: Steeler New Web Site

Steeler presents its new World wide web showroom.  Steeler is a Dutch builder from Steenwijk, founded by Hans Webbink in 2010.  Hans Webbink before founding Steeler was building sailing sloops in fiberglass.  With Steeler he moved in a total different direction building fully customized steel and or aluminium displacement, semi displacement, and planning motor boats.  Currently Steeler offer a total of 27 models, all made to order and divided into five ranges; NG, NGS, Explorer, Panorama, and Bronson.  Steeler starts its range with the 7.45 m Bronson and goes to the still on plan NG 75 S flagship.  Steeler new web site is available in Dutch, English, German, and French language and takes you around with the following buttons; Home, Unique Features, Models, Gallery, News, Concepts, Delivered Boats/Under Construction, New and Pre-Owned, and Contact.  Steeler has also its Facebook, and Vimeo social pages with a link button located at the bottom of the page.

New Model: Majesty 90

Gulf Craft and its Majesty yacht and super yacht brand have been very active lately, with an interesting expansion going always into larger sizes. The new Majesty 90 launched in Spring 2016 is a new flagship for its Yacht collection, and takes design cues from the smaller 70 model, see single peace looking side window, which makes it look from a distance a less intimidating yacht.  The new Majesty 90 offers a four double guest cabin accommodation, with full beam owners cabin. The main deck is all dedicated to the owner and his guests with a large welcome lounge, central dinette, open style galley, day head, dinette, staircase to the flybridge, and helm station. A crew area with three cabins, lobby, main galley, and direct access to the engine room is located aft.  Power is twin standard 1800hp or optional 1902hp engines with line shaft propulsion.

Project: Benetti 95 Delfino

Benetti's new 95 Delfino project is off to flying start having the builder announced at the past Cannes boat show 2016 the sale of a third unit. Hull number BD103 will be delivered in 2018, simultaneously with her other two sisters.  Benetti Delfino 95 will be the new semi-displacement yacht from the Class range, a 29 meter luxury super yacht that promises to be incredible, both for design and  performance, that owners are willing to wait for two years to own.  Benetti 95 Delfino follows as the just launched 116 Mediterraneo exterior design by Giorgio Maria Cassetta, and will feature interiors by Achille Salvagni.  Her interior layout will offer five double cabins, including an owners cabin located on the fore deck of the main deck.

New Model: Versilcraft V86

Versilcraft an important name in the history of super yacht building which was founded in 1964 marks its return, and present a new model the new V86.  Versilcraft was one of Viareggio most important builders in the seventies and eighties, and has been in slow decline in recent years and in 2012 closed its doors.  Now one of its best clients who over time had owned no less then a total of six Versilcraft has decided to revive the famed Italian super yacht builder and started by presenting a new model, the V86. The new Versilcraft V86 is an innovative product designed by CLM Studio from Viareggio who presented a super sport yacht with sport bridge and triple Volvo IPS propulsion system. The first V86 built on speculation features big boat characteristics and a length above 24 meters.  The second hull currently under construction will be under 24 meters in length and possible to helm with standard yacht master license.
