New Model: Fairline 48 Squadron

Presented by Fairline in surprise at Southampton boat show, was the new 48 Squadron.  This last to come Fairline model is the second of the 48 hull platform, which launched in mid Summer with the Targa Open.  A 48 Targa GT with an enclosed hard top is next, with Fairline bringing three different models using same hull and similar layout below, all powered by Volvo IPS pods, and built with resin infusion technology.  The main difference here between the Targa Open and this 48 Squadron is the enclosed saloon in the main deck, and the flybridge up top.  As is usual form Fairline the Squadron offers a spacious flybridge, which you reach from the integrated stair case to port side.  Up top as is a standard since years now Fairline layout; large L-shaped settee, wet-bar to starboard and a dual seat helm station to port.  The saloon of the 48 Squadron offers a C-shaped settee, L-shape passenger settee to port side, and a helm to starboard.  The galley is located below, and opposite is a C-shaped dinette with the choice to have this as a twin bunk berth cabin.
