Project: Azimut 53 Magellano

The pleasure of cruising, the quest for the greater comfort onboard, the need for bigger storage spaces and higher autonomy during long crossing, all merged with the timeless charm of Italian design: that is the new Magellano collection’s philosophy, interpreted, once again at best, by Azimut with the latest 53 project.  The new model will replace the 50 a best seller in the Magellano range sold World wide to great success in a three year production run.  The extra length of the new 53 allows Azimut to place a spacious crew cabin to aft, as well as to transform the aft cockpit deck in an actual terrace with over thirteen square meters wide. The Magellano 53 offers three cabins for up to six guests, as well as a high pantry in with enough space to allocate supplies, equipment and, occasionally, an extra bed. The internal d├ęcor is a mix between the warm shades of the leather and the Canaletto Walnut; at ship owners' disposal, a wide range of materials to choose from, for the ultimate customization.   As all Magellano the 53 features the Dual Mode semi-displacement hull, designed by Bill Dixon exclusively for the this collection, ensuring a smooth navigation, even with head sea, reducing the pitch’s width and naturally diminishing the impact in the waves.  Power for the 53 Magaellano is 600hp Cummins engines which deliver a cruising speed of 16 knots with a 20 of max.
