New Model: Vicem 46 Classic IPS

Vicem is proud to announce the successful world premier of the 46 IPS, the very first model of a new IPS line by the Turkish boat builder.  Presented at the Palm Beach boat show the 46 IPS is the first Vicem built in fiberglass epoxy in this size. Light and sturdy the Vicem 46 IPS has sufficient interior volume to allow the owner to choose between spacious two or three cabin designs. This 46 IPS is designed by Vicem’s in-house design team and has a classic look and provides a quiet, smooth ride.  The primary aim when designing the 46 IPS was to create comfortable and luminous spaces. When coming aboard, you enter first into the bar zone with, a comfortable L-shaped settee. The lounge and cockpit are separated by a sliding door: when open there is no longer any separation and a single large living space is created.  The lounge area offers comfortable seating to fully enjoy the entertainment systems, while the large side windows and front windshield provide excellent visibility and lots of daylight. For maximum comfort when under way, the helmsman has an ergonomic chair and the station is complete with up-to-date electronic instruments.  The importance of a side door to the lounge shouldn’t be underestimated as it considerably eases movement around the vessel, especially when mooring. The interiors, all air conditioned, are quite spacious this is thanks to the Volvo IPS engines that allow for a smaller engine room with obvious advantages for livability.  The standard layout for the sleeping area foresees two spacious double berth cabins and a functional open space galley.  The owner’s cabin has a queen size bed, ample storage space, an entertainment system and a private bathroom complete with shower. Through-hull windows provide excellent natural lighting.  The guest cabin is equipped with two single berths that can be joined to make a single queen-size bed, while the guest bathroom can also be used as a day-head.  The galley is fully equipped for long cruising and comes with two electric burners, a microwave oven and ample storage space.  Powered by two Volvo 435hp the Vicem 46 IPS reached a top speed is close to 30 knots, with a cruising of 26 knots. During her first sea trails, what most impressed was the incredible silence on board: at 25 knots, only 62 decibels were recorded.

Project: Picchiotti Heritage 45 M

Zuccon International Project and Picchiotti Yachts together for the first time. Picchiotti Yachts Heritage 45 M marks the start of a new collaboration which pays tribute to Gerhard Gilgenast, one of the most important architects to work with Picchiotti Yachts in the past. The new 45-meter motor yacht will translate some of the style features developed over the years by Gilgenast into a more contemporary design language.  The fruit of extensive research by Zuccon International Project, PY Heritage is an extremely innovative yacht, with several features that put it in an unconventional niche, both as a classic expedition yacht and a support vessel for Perini Navi superyachts. The layout leaves most of the main deck free to accommodate two tenders (a sailboat and a motor yacht, both of nine meters in length) and two jet skis. PY Heritage therefore, acts as a transportation platform, responding to growing demand for more toys on board. Another distinctive feature is the layout of the interior. The cross-section has been designed with a floor to ceiling height of three meters on the main deck and the extensive use of glass which further simplifies the relationship with the outside world and merges seamlessly into the interior space.  The yacht’s dual purpose defines its design language. The designer has worked to recall the classic and elegance of the lines for which Perini and Picchiotti  are renowned, while also incorporating an innovative approach to allocate outdoor areas for water toys. The outdoor areas become extremely livable and, when the tenders are in the water, the bow portion of the main deck becomes a large lounge area that blends in seamlessly with the interiors and the bow cockpit, creating a unique and completely unencumbered space dedicated entirely to entertaining guests.  The areas reserved for the owner and guests are all on the lower deck. Here the owner has a large suite with a private terrace in the stern area. As this area isn’t taken up entirely by the garage, it can be used as a stunning sea level terrace by the owner.

Improve-it = Pershing 82 VHP

Pershing 82 now coming with the title of VHP which means Very High Performance has been recently shown some important improvements and is now capable of breaking the fifty knot barrier with an astonishing cruise speed of 45 knots. This is all thanks to the new combination of twin MTU 2638hp together with Top System surface propellers.  In order to accommodate these changes, Pershing’s team of designers and engineers has altered the layout of the engine room, the heights of the stern garage and the positions of the air intakes. The interiors of the Pershing 82 VHP meet the exceptional standards set on the performance front. They are luxurious and feature a tasteful array of superlatively sophisticated, quintessentially Italian products and style.  Dark or pale streaked oak embellished with numerous dark grey lacquered details creates a refined atmosphere in the main lounge: a large, pleasant open space where guests can take it easy, surrounded by enchanting Poltrona Frau furnishings and leather. The items of furniture include a sizeable “Quadra” sofa and a “Laurana” wooden table with a glass top. Poltrona Frau is one of Pershing’s long-standing partners and has also upholstered the large helm station and the three ergonomic, sporty seats for the captain and the co-pilots.  The interior design scheme reaches its artistic and creative zenith below deck. At the bottom of the steps is an area providing access to the four cabins. The corridor is decorated with alternating mirrored bulkheads and full-length paneling with metallic patterned Ăˆlitis wallpaper.  A strip of LED lighting on the floor emphasizes the wall profile and boosts the sense of depth in the surroundings. The same stylistic effect appears in the master suite, on both the forward and stern bulkheads. Two burnished mirrors make the cabin feel even bigger.  In addition to the master and VIP suites, both equipped with en-suite bathrooms, the main area features two guest cabins with a shared bathroom. Taking pride of place in the heads are Bisazza mosaics, Pomd’or accessories and exquisite Antoniolupi basins. The outer doors of the cabins are covered with Poltrona Frau leather.  On request, the starboard guest cabin can be replaced by a media room that opens out on to the lobby. Aluminium LED profiles are used in the ceiling lighting system, which has also been overhauled in all of the rooms.
