Project: Austin Parker 48 Sundeck

Austin Parker present the project for a new 48 Sundeck, inspired by the elements that have always characterized the range, and the larger sized models.  Unmistakable lines accentuate the traditional modern concept and bring to mind the consolidated white-blue color scheme that Fulvio De Simoni has used since the first model AP42 was launched in 2008.  Wide side side decks facilitate the passage from the stern to fore-ship; while stairs from the teak cockpit lead to the sundeck complete with sunbeds and sofas.  The spacious panoramic saloon is fully accessible and in continuity with a comfortable cockpit; an opening in the stern deck provides easy access to the swim platform where the service tender is located.  The sleeping accommodations offers three double cabins and two heads; the master cabin is located at the center and is a true suite fitted with every comfort. The galley, positioned below deck, provides plenty of counter space and cabinets for storing supplies and equipment.  As all Austin Parker the 48 Sundeck will be finished in deluxe trims in treated elm-wood, crystal, leather and fine quality textiles.  Power comes from twin 550hp Cummins engines which top speeds up to thirty knots, and range at a fast economic cruise up to 350 nautical miles.  The first unit of the 48 Sundeck has been sold with a launch date for late Spring early Summer, and then going for the World debut at the September Cannes boat show.
