Project: Monte Carlo 52

Monte Carlo present the project of the 52, a replacement of the 5 model set to launch in September 2019 and be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival.  With the 52 the French boat building giant is marking the introduction of the new generation of Monte Carlo motor yachts by Beneteau. We can call it generation two, and we see some different details to the first single digit units, with the understanding that this is more of a conservative exterior design, unlike the contemporary design of the previous units.  The Monte Carlo 52 will be over sixteen meters long and boasts enhanced spaces, light and comfort.  Like all other Monte Carlo the 52 is designed by Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard for the exterior line, while Andr√©ani takes care for the interior accommodation, and the Vee shaped hull was designed in partnership with Amedeo Micali of MICAD. The 52 will be longer and has a greater beam than the previous Monte Carlo 5 model, and will feature a spacious three double cabins two head accommodating interior, with a full beam owners cabin featuring an independent access. An optional crew cabin with single berth is lcoated aft . The main deck is centered around the large saloon, while the flybridge also available with a hard t-top version has reorganized spaces.  The Monte Carlo 52 will feature an aft galley saloon layout easy to connect with the interior dinette and the aft cockpit. The Monte Carlo 52 will be powered by Volvo IPS pod drives, although actual details of engine horse power have yet not been communicated.

  2. I agree, but I would not blame Beneteau Group for this, since the Prestige are selling so well. Possibly in my opinion it might have been more because the Prestige 500 was more spacious then the Monte Carlo 5, then really the styling.
