Project: Heron 38

Heron continues its development and is preparing to add the second model in its fleet the 38. As per the previous 56 model this new 38 is a sport cruiser designed by the SC Superyacht Design Studio located just as the builder in Rome. The main core of Heron 38 remains the hull, a perfect reproduction in smaller of the 56, designed by architect Massimo Picco. The bottom therefore maintains the same waterlines with completely smooth bottom surfaces, free from hydrodynamic drags, step and spray rails in order to significantly reduce any resistance force and generate maximum efficicency.  The Heron 38 will be available in two different variants Walkaround or Day Cruiser.  The Heron 38 has a large cockpit and a generous aft bathing platform. Many different solutions can be applied so that the external surfaces can be customized according to customer request.  The Heron 38 will be powered by twin Volvo 400hp diesel engines with stern drive propulsion which allow for speeds up to forty knots.  The Heron 38 will also be available with outboard engines up to twin 350hp petrol gas units and maximum speeds up to 41 knots.

Project: Cranchi T55

Cranchi presents the project for the T55, a new flagship model in its 2013 launched Trawler line which today features two models of 43 and 53 feet.  The Cranchi T55 is an evolution of the 2014 launched T53 with design improvements coming from Christian Grande.  The changes Grande introduces to the T55 are more in line with modern similar type Explorer Yachts as the Magellano from Azimut, or the Navetta by Absolute.  There is two very visible changes from the outside, the fully windowed main deck, and the new stylish T-top on the flybridge.  But the changes on the T55 do not stop outside, with the main deck being revised, and now featuring a central pilot station with a galley to port side replacing the astern galley layout of the T53.  The lower deck seems unchanged, with a three double cabins two head featuring a full beam midships cabin being unchanged.  A single crew cabin berth is located forward.  Cranchi is not informing any news about engines, which is to imagine will remain as on the T53 for twin Volvo 435hp with IPS pod drive propulsion.

CRN presents Begallta, a 75m yacht with a dynamic, forward-looking spirit. The new project has been developed by the CRN Technical Office working closely with architecture and design studios Lobanov Design, who created the exterior lines and spatial layout, and Pulina DNA, who took care of the interiors.  Begallta is a yacht with original, surprising lines, imbued with a sophisticated, contemporary style that superbly marries the innovative drive of CRN with the futuristic vision of Lobanov Design. The yacht’s unique stylistic hallmark is the line that slants along the hull and superstructure like a ribbon, seamlessly uniting her decks and lending an unprecedented sense of fluidity. The Begallta’s futuristic inspiration reaches its zenith at the stern, where the cut of the corners underlines the yacht’s highly distinctive style.  Conceived for a cosmopolitan owner with a strong personality who loves to explore the seas on extended cruises, Begallta offers an innovative, flowing layout that breaks down all barriers between interior and exterior. The design solutions promote constant contact with the natural surroundings, from the panoramic windows to the generous terraces and glorious sundeck, where the sunlight glints off the facets of the surface in a play of architectural lines that draws the eye to the hard top, as sky meets sea. The contemporary linear feel outdoors is in perfect harmony with the metropolitan-style interiors. The ample spaces are embellished with prestige materials and a judicious use of glass, set off by minimalist decor and cutting-edge entertainment features that combine to instantly evoke the typical mood of a New York loft.
