Project: Absolute 62 Fly

After expanding again its facilities in the last two years, for 2019 Absolute is looking to renew the range with three new models set to launch in the coming year.  The Absolute 62 Fly is the third of these new 2019 projects and the one which is set to be presented the first, launching in January at the Dusseldorf boat show. The Absolute 62 Fly follows the North Italian boat builder recent stylistic elements, as presented with the 58 Fly launched in 2017.  As many flybridge motor yacht of this size the Absolute 62 Fly is about offering a lot of space and a pleasant exterior modern profile.  The living of the 62 Fly is an astern galley layout with a dinette opposite the galley, and a relaxing sofa on the forward part to a port side helm-station.  Below is a three double cabins three shower heads six berth accommodation for guests and a twin berth crew or extra guests cabin aft.  Owners stateroom is a full beam midships location, while the VIP suite forward offers a full beam feel thanks to the double berth looking to starboard.  The 62 Fly should also prove interesting for sun lovers with its three sunbathing areas; aft, forward, and on the flybridge.  The Absolute 62 Fly is to be powered by twin Volvo 725hp with forward IPS pod propulsion which should deliver top speeds up to thirty knots.

Project: Absolute 68 Navetta

Absolute continues to expand its Navetta line, and after presenting the 48 Navetta in 2018, new entry level model of the range, the North Italian boat builder is looking for a second in size 68 Navetta for its popular semi planning yacht and cruiser range, set to launch in 2019.  The Navetta 68 will be just five feet smaller to the current Absolute flagship, and will have spacious interior spaces, and size record breaking exterior ones.  Indeed on plan the Absolute Navetta 68 seems to offer among the most spacious flybridge in its size, and it does not seem to stop there, interior spaces are abundant.  The lower deck of the second in size Navetta will feature a four double cabins three head layout, which in a certain sense break the mold, featuring a midships full beam VIP suite, and a forward owners stateroom.  The Absolute 68 Navetta will be powered by twin Volvo 900hp engines and as all the models coming from Piacenza is to be powered by forward looking dual propeller IPS pod drives.

New Model: Absolute 73 Navetta

With the birth of the Navetta 73, the engineering team of Absolute not only present a new flagship but also a unique explorer yacht in her range.  Offering space much as a yacht one meter larger, but with a budget of a 22 meter, the Navetta 73 offers functionalities, spaces and new technologies, together with the most refined elegance and the highest comfort. The fly astonishes for its dimensions: at 55 square meters floor area, with helm station forward, an elegant wet-bar opposite a dinette and sofas that characterize the style. On the main deck, sight has no obstacles extending easily from the helm, beyond the salon and right to the cockpit. Impressive windows of vertical size let the view be the main protagonist. Featuring precious natural materials like wood, crystal, leather, the Calacatta marble and the Murano glass, together with innovative solutions and high-quality design furniture, the four guests cabins are a celebration of Italian style, offering the allure of cozy interiors and the great sophistication of sober taste. Project: Absolute 47 Fly

Absolute was very upbeat of it's recent successes, which included one new model in 2018 the 48 Navetta and an expansion of its production plant.  For 2019 the North Italian boat builder keeps looking forward and will launch three new models, one of which is to be this 47 Fly project showcased to dedicated clients at Cannes.  The Absolute 47 Fly will inspire itself to the latest addition of the Fly range the 58 launched in 2017, which added latest generation details as the very full bow and a high radar arch with hard-top.  Some details of the Absolute 47 Fly also look coming from the 48 Navetta, see raised shear-line and fore deck aimed to increase space for the cabin area inside, which also suggests for an owners stateroom located forward.  So far very sparse details are available for the 47 Fly, which as all Absolutes is to be powered with Volvo engines and IPS pod drives propulsion.

New Model: Absolute 48 Navetta

During the 2018 dealer meeting Absolute unveiled the 48 Navetta, new entry level and fourth model to the modern explorer yacht range as visioned by the Italian boat builder which has brought so much success to the firm since introduced in 2014 with the 58.  The Absolute 48 Navetta for a modern explorer cruiser just under the fifteen meter mark offers interesting spaces both outside, see spacious flybridge, and inside.  The interior impresses a lot especially the three cabin guest area of the lower deck with the side looking double berth design of the forward stateroom impressing for its space, which really seems to give nothing less to that of a midships design.  This idea is not new, I remember Fairline and Uniesse using a similar concept in a slightly bigger boat, and I always do think that in between the thirteen and fifteen meter sizes this should be used a bit more instead of going for the simple eqauation of a high freeboard in order to fit a midships cabin.  But the Absolute 48 Navetta lower deck extra space does not stop and thanks to an important beam its port side midships located VIP cabin is also another spacious offer.  Completing the lower deck in the Absolute 48 Navetta is also an aft crew cabin.   The 48 Navetta main deck offers the embraced by Absolute aft galley design and an area which connects with the aft deck.  As all Absolute since quite a few years the 48 Navetta is IPS propulsion-ed and is powered by twin Volvo 435hp engines.  Worth to note is the important fuel tank capacity of 1800 liters which at optimum cruise should give an interesting range.

Project: Absolute 73 Navetta

Absolute looks towards 2017 with an expansion plan and the launch of a couple new models. of which will be the project of the 73 Navetta.  A new Absolute flagship surpassing the currently largest 72 Fly by one foot, and third model of the Navetta explorer yacht range the 73 presents itself as a spacious offer in its size and beyond.  With a length of about 22 meters Absolute is saying the new 73 Navetta will offer spaces similar to yachts a couple meters longer.  For example even on rendering the flybridge of the 73 Navetta looks already abundantly spacious. Project: Absolute 58 Fly

Absolute present the project for the 58 Fly which seems a follow up to the renovation phase as started in this 2016 year with the 50 Fly model.  The 58 Fly will be also a replacement to the 56 series.  The 58 Fly is an evolution of the Absolute design, taking cues from the larger 64 and 72 models and having the feel of a much bigger boat, see deeper walk around bulwarks and fore deck settee. Its main deck layout although similar to the 56 will offer also much more spaces see larger dinette, while the astern galley will be of a much open style.  Below deck the Absolute 58 Fly will also offer a three double cabins three head layout, with the option of a crew cabin aft.  Standard engine power will come from twin Volvo 600hp engines.  Launching is scheduled for the first half of 2017.

New Model: Absolute 50 Fly

Absolute is already thinking 2017 season and has just finished its first new model for the coming year the new 50 Fly.  Two hulls have already been completed of this new 50 Fly model, with the second hull being fitted with a hard top for the flybridge.  The Absolute 50 Fly impresses for its accommodation in all areas for a yacht just short of fifty feet in over all length. Her accommodation layout proposes a three double cabin interior with full beam owners stateroom with en-suite, a VIP to fore, guest cabin to starboard with two inline berth, and a guest shared shower head.  Impressive is also the en-suite shower head single berth crew or guest cabin aft.  The living of the 50 Fly uses the recent Absolute layout of astern galley, and a C-shaped Lounge sofa which can also be used as a dinette.  Power for the 50 Fly is a rather shy for the size twin Volvo 435hp with the tried and tested for the Italian builder IPS pod drives propulsion.  Absolute is estimating a top speed of 30 knots with these rather small units for a 22 tons loaded flybridge yacht.

Project: Absolute 52 Navetta

After the very positive input on the first Absolute Navetta the 58, it is not surprising to see the Italian builder follow it with a slightly smaller model a year later. The Absolute 52 Navetta continues where the 58 left us, albeit a slightly smaller size, and follows in five feet less with a similar concept inside, outside, and on the technical side.  The accommodation plan will feature three double cabins, full beam owners room at midships, VIP forward, twin berth cabin to starboard, and a guest head to port side.  To aft is a crew cabin with private head.  The main deck will feature an astern galley, while two steps up to port side of the helm station is a C-shaped multi purpose dinette. Absolute continues to be a name on the rise, and this new 60 Fly model proves what a solid boat building reality the North Italian builder is nowadays.  For the 60 Fly the Absolute Research Lab follows the looks of the larger 64 and 72 models of the same line. Still the Absolute 60 Fly has one of the most interesting upper profiles in its size and still feeling very much a bigger yacht thanks to its deep side decks and overall looks.  The 60 Fly is a three double guest cabin motor yacht with the standard nowadays layout of full beam owners room, forward VIP, and twin guest cabin to starboard. A two berth crew cabin with private shower head is located aft. The Absolute 60 Fly as all models from the Piacenza builder is IPS pod drive propelled, and will have Volvo 626 or 725hp engine choices. New Model: Absolute 58 Navetta

It's definitely exciting times again at Absolute, as the North Italian boat builder headed by Gobbi and Maggi presented at the end of August its new 58 Navetta.  A new model which represents a challenge and a fresh chapter into the Absolute story, and its entry into the medium-long range explorer yacht sector. For those following Absolute in recent years they definitely know this is nothing new for the Italian boat builder, who still goes on the record books as having its full line of fifteen models all powered with the Volvo IPS pod drive system.  A huge believe in Volvo's forward looking pod drives system which has characterized the boat builder since 2006, and the launch of the Absolute 56 STC. The Absolute 58 Navetta is an explorer which puts the Mediterranean style of layout and function. Saying it simple you would not find anything missing from your planning boat into the 58, in reality you will find more, as the 58 Navetta has a feeling of being a much larger yacht then it actually is. The interior layout offers a split level saloon with galley to starboard in the raised part behind the helm station. Below is three double cabins all served with a private head, and includes a full beam owners cabin which is one of the largest for a seventeen meter yacht. To aft is also a crew cabin sleeping two and served with its private shower head. The 58 Navetta features an IPS dedicated semi displacement hull and can be powered by engine choices of twin Volvo 435hp or the large 625hp units.  Hull one was equipped with the large Volvo's and gave interesting max speed of 25 knots at light load and a cruise of 18 knots.

New Model: Absolute 64 Fly

Absolute yachts has in one of the most difficult period for the nautical industry shown its great resolute by updating its model range with a certain importance and timely manner at the important boat shows. The 64 Fly has been a long awaited project from this North Italian boat, more or less about two years and is an important strategic model for Absolute filling the gap in size between the new 56 updated version of the nice 55, and its flagship 72 model. The 64 Fly is based on the hull of the 64 STY. Non the less what the Fly takes seems only to be the running surfaces and lower part of the hull, because for the rest it offers total differences in looks and interior layout. One of the great bonuses of the 64 Fly will be its four cabin layout, fourth cabin with bunk berths. An interesting feature is also its very larger yacht look and feel, see deep walk around bulwurks, and central wrap around radar arch in the flybridge. But with this Absolute still manages to present a modern presence thanks to the huge glass surfaces which round the main deck interior area. Power options are twin Volvo 725hp or optional 900hp units.

Project: Absolute 58 Navetta

Absolute went to this years Dusseldorf boat show with an important showcasing of its soon to come future plans. Among the forthcoming important new models in the horizon of the Italian builder was the 58 Navetta, a project for a semi displacement seventeen meter explorer yacht. This project also marked Absolute entry into the explorer segment and should be followed by a smaller model more or less a year after it's release. Absolute declared that unlike other builders for its 58 Navetta its started with a clean sheet, and in this created a medium range explorer yacht with a modern layout in design and fittings. Worth to note that while the 58 Navetta starts from a fresh stamp it follows other Absolute's by being propelled with IPS pod drives, the propulsion which moves all the Italian builder models from forty to 72 feet. The accommodation plan of the 58 Navetta is quite impressive and will feature three guest cabins all with a private shower head, this including a full beam amidships owners stateroom. To aft is a crew cabin for two with a private shower head. An important note is also the little horse-power the 58 Navetta will have which is twin Volvo 435hp engines. www.absoluteyachts.com

Project: Absolute 45 STY

Absolute continues to upgrade and update its range and the turn around of every important boat show in Europe. The 45 STY is the latest novelty presented in Dusseldorf, these initials meaning for Sport Yacht, which is the fully enclosed hard top range of Absolute which features eight models from forty to seventy feet. The 45 STY is fully based on the fall 2013 launched Fly version in its plans and layout. A reminder for those who do not remember the 45 Fly, this features a very interesting layout more so if one considers its size; full living on the main deck with astern galley, two large cabins having owners room being full beam amidships located cabin, and also a crew cabin to aft. This last is a most notable feature considering the 45 STY is a sport cruiser of fourteen meters and Volvo IPS pods powered.

New Model: Absolute 56 STY

Absolute continues to fine tune its models in the 50 series.  The new 56 STY is a further evolution of what was born in 2009 as a 50 Fly, then developed into a 53, a 55, and now this latest model. The 55 presented in 2012 has an amazing layout for its size. Three spacious cabins below deck including full beam owners room, astern galley, aft deck with L-shaped settee sun-pad, and last a two saloon sofa one for dining opposite of the galley and a lounging to fore.  So what does the 56 improves in this? Absolute redesigned the astern galley now featuring a more open format, also increased moving space in the aft deck by adjoining the sun-pad with the convertible settee, and also changed the two single armchairs with table to one large sofa in the owners midships cabin.
