Project: Mulder 95 Voyager

Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands continues to grow and the most recent new order is from a Russian client who has commissioned the construction of the first 95 Voyager second in size behind the not so long ago launched 98 Flybridge. The exterior of this new Mulder super yacht is the brainchild of Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, while Vripack Naval Architects is responsible for construction and naval architecture. Construction on the hull will get underway soon at the new Rijdnijk facilities, while the launch and delivery under RINA Class, are slated for spring 2014. The Dutch design company Omega Architects of Frank Laupman who had previously already created the interiors of the 98 Flybridge and Bellagio series for Mulder, designed the elegant semi-custom 95 Voyager in a classic contemporary style mixing minimal with classic with lots of space and an especially impressive main saloon and master stateroom. The Mulder 95 Voyager will features a four double guest cabins accommodation with VIP to fore, two twin cabins, and owners stateroom worthy of that name in this size of yacht having 24 squared meters of dimensions.  Other interesting features are the performance of the 95 Voyager which is to be powered by twin 1150hp Cat engines giving an interesting 20 knots max speed, 15 knots cruise, and a 10 knots economic which can give a trans Atlantic range of up to 3600 nautical miles.   Meantime Mulder and Omega are preparing for a full Voyager line with an 84, 104, and a future 114 triple deck flagship being in the planning room.

The all-new, all-aluminium yacht has been developed by the Mulder Shipyard design team with Guido de Groot and will be delivered in the second quarter of 2013.  The Flybridge yachts of Mulder Shipyard have been a major international success. The leading Dutch yard delivered a 92 Flybridge to a client from Egypt in 2010 and recently sold a Mulder 73 Flybridge to an Australian client. The latter had seen the Mulder 76 Flybridge Dutchess at the Auckland yacht show, a yacht that was delivered in 2007 to a client from New Zealand. Meanwhile, Mulder has also built several other projects for clients from Russia, Spain, Germany and Italy.  The new Mulder 98 Flybridge has a length of thirty metres over all, and a beam of 6.90 metres. It is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 1600 hp each of engines, offering a maximum speed of 22 knots. The yacht has a fuel capacity of 17,000 litres, which gives it a range of 4,500 nm at a speed of ten knots. The hull will be built in accordance with Lloyd’s classification.  The interior of the new Mulder 98 Flybridge includes a spacious saloon, with a starboard dining area for eight people, The galley on the port side gives direct access to the gangway and a day head. The owner’s stateroom includes a large walk-in closet and three elliptical portholes on both sides. The yacht also has a VIP suite and two guest cabins, each with their own shower and toilet. The interior will be finished in walnut.  The aft ship contains the crew quarters with two twin cabins with a shower and toilet. These quarters can be reached via the swim platform, and give direct access to the engine room. The tender can be stored either on the swim platform or on the flybridge. Additionally, the flybridge is equipped with deck chairs, two roomy U-shaped sofas and a wetbar with grill, icemaker and refrigerator.  The new Mulder 98 Flybridge will be the first yacht to be built at the new facilities of Mulder Shipyard.

Mulder Shipyard in the Netherlands has just recently delivered a new 59 Convertible ‘Soft Top’ version. This latest launching improves on its predecessor with latest demanded equipment features as a fully automated convertible hood especially developed for the Mulder 59 Convertible, Seakeeper stabiliser system which uses a gyro for optimal stability both underway and at anchor, and hydraulically adjustable trim flaps designed for optimal regulation of the trim angle. The exclusive character of the yacht is underlined by her high-gloss teak bulwarks. Project: Mulder 72 Convertible

After the recent full delivery of the 92 Flybridge to an Egyptian owner in April, Mulder Shipyard was recently commissioned a new 72 Convertible for a German client. The yacht will be based on the 68 Convertible, but in a slightly extended size with a total length of 22 metres. Mulder has already built several 68 foot Convertible projects. Designed by Guido de Groot, the new 72 will be flagship of the Convertible line and will offer an exceptional intelligent layout, with a modern interior meeting the owners requirements. The owners suite will be located to aft while the VIP cabin is situated to foreship, both having private toilets and showers. The yacht also has a crew cabin with head and shower in the aft ship. The exterior will feature a dark blue hull and an off-white superstructure combined with an Estek deck and various stainless steel accessories. A large garage for a 3.5 metre jet propelled tender is situated aft. The yacht’s wheelhouse has a large sliding roof powered by a hydraulic system. The fore part of the superstructure will contain a large skylight over the light and spacious salon. With its elegant lines, the new 72 Convertible has a graceful appearance similar to all Mulder Convertibles. The yard has already started with the construction of the new yacht and delivery is planned for 2011. In two months, the yard is also due to deliver a new 59 Convertible, a 73 Wheelhouse and a 77 Wheelhouse. Projects: Mulder 1500 Favorite, Mulder 1600 Favorite

Following the presentation of the Mulder 1400 Favorite a few weeks back, it was next to complete the two other projects concerning this new range from the Dutch builder. Today we present you the Mulder 1500 and 1600 of the new Favorite range. Like the smaller 1400, the Mulder 1500 Favorite is available with a round bilge or a chine shaped hull with a conventional shaft propulsion. The client has also the option of various power choices from twin 150hp up to 435hp Volvo engines. This will allow the yacht to reach a maximum speed from twelve to 27 knots. The Mulder 1500 Favorite interior is open and well thought through with a wheelhouse consisting of a large C-shaped seating dinette area, luxury TV stand, and optional rinsing unit. The steering position has an excellent view over the ship’s bow. A galley is located one level below and can be reached via a staircase next to the steering position, and can be fitted with various amenities. Below you have a twin cabins with owners suite to fore, and a second shower head. You also get a three metre big tender garage aft. The first 1500 Favorite is currently under construction and will be a round bilged hull with a conventional propeller shaft system, powered by twin Volvo 330hp engines. The Mulder 1600 Favorite project just like its smaller sister has also been developed in close partnership with Guido de Groot and Vripack Naval Architects. Unlike its sister though the 1600 is only available with a round bilge hull. Again the 1600 Favorite follows a similar choice of power options, from twin 150hp up to 435hp Volvo engines. The round bilge shape makes this yacht perfectly suited to comfortable cruising, from ten knots up to a 25 knots top speed. A catching feature is the irregular shape of the bow, which in contrast to the almost sheer shape of the Favorite 1400 and 1500 model, the 1600 will feature a more traditional angled form. The Mulder 1600 Favorite interior will also offer two layout choices. A three double cabins single heads plan, or a two cabins two heads layout. This last giving two en suited heads to both owner and guest cabins. Up on the main deck we find again an open wheelhouse layout, with an intermediate galley located between the main and lower deck.

The first Favourite to be deliver is the 1400 and is currently under construction. The 1400 Favorite will be equipped with a double Volvo IPS600 435hp and has a hard chine hull with spray rails, giving her a maximum speed of up to 35 knots.
