Improve-it = Maritimo M51

During the 2019 Sactuary Cove boat show Maritimo unveiled major design updates to its M51 Flybridge Motoryacht model.  The most noticeable update came from the hull topsides now added with all new panoramic hull side window profiles amid some other purposeful styling elements which enhance both interior and exterior form. In addition to the new exterior features integrated into the Maritimo M51 this was also added with design enhancements of interior spaces, updated material palettes, cabinetry design and lighting packages.  Of this also worth to note is a new sport dashboard design veiling the extent of the helm.  The Maritimo M51 is a three cabin enclosed bridge motor yacht which echoes sport fish looks but is full of motor yacht features.  The Maritimo M51 is standard powered by twin Volvo 670hp engines with line shaft propulsion.

New Model: Maritimo X50

Following the success and innovation of the X60, Maritimo quickly followed it with a smaller X50 sister which launched just a year later.  Deservedly so the X-line is proving to be a winner for Maritimo, and the X50 is a quick follow up to the success the X60 got in its first year.  The aft cabin concept so loved in Europe in the eights and nineties, was very much abandoned since over a decade by most builders with the exception coming for inland waterway cruisers.  With the X60 Maritimo changed all this not only for having an aft cabin, but for giving a triple choice to buyers what to do of this area; tender garage, beach area with galley/bar and day head, or a cabin.  The new Maritimo X50 just like its bigger X60 sister does the same albeit in a smaller three meter size.  Now the question comes automatic, and it will be interesting to see who from Europe will copy this concept first, so far everyone is one year late.

Project: Maritimo X50

After a successful launch for the first X60 model, Maritimo continues the sport yacht aft cabin philosophy and presents the project for a smaller X50 sibling.  The Maritimo X50 as the bigger X60 will have three options for the aft cabin, from a third cabin with two inline berths and ensuite bathroom, or a beach club area, or a tender garage.  The forward cabin area of the Maritimo X50 will offer two spacious cabins; VIP suite forward and owners room at midships.  The living of the X50 as most modern hard top sport yachts of this size is to be concentrated under the hard top.  The Maritimo X50 will be powered by standard twin Volvo 675hp or optional 725hp engines located centrally and with line shaft propulsion and should deliver top speeds up to around 36 knots.

New Model: Maritimo X60

Launched during the 2018 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, the new Maritimo X60 marks the first of many displays of the highly anticipated first X-Series model throughout 2018, which will include further appearances at exhibitions in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Development has also commenced on the next model within the X-Series Range, a Maritimo X50 which the company is closely guarding until its introduction at Sydney International Boat Show with its world premiere scheduled for 2019.  Integral in the X-Series and what differentiates to the S-series is the versatile aft cabin space that enables high levels of custom-ability for owners to cater to the space to their specific requirements. The X60’s class leading range and economy has been recorded at over 30 knot cruise and consumption rate of 200 liters per hour at a 27 knot cruise. Project: Maritimo M61

Maritimo, which struck a winner with its all new M65 cruising motor yacht, has now launched a smaller version of this well received model, the M61 cruising motor yacht which has a lower price entry level while providing many of the same features and benefits of its bigger sibling. The M65, which was launched at the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, has been a popular model for the company with hull number seven being sold, but Maritimo saw a niche for a similar styled vessel that sat between the M65 and the M58.  The first M61 cruising motor yacht is in build and will be delivered to its Gold Coast owner in February 2016. The owner has had three Maritimo's previously.  Big boat enthusiasts are expected to embrace the new M61, which requires less berthing space than its larger sibling, has almost all the same features, albeit proportionally smaller.  The M61 can come as a three cabin three bathroom configuration or four cabins and two bathrooms or can even have an office by eliminating one of the bathrooms. The M61 is powered by D13 900's and could be set up to include crew quarters or accommodate a gyro. Interiors would include the popular Wenge timber finish and the soft furnishings and fit out will be the same as the M65 in terms of quality. The M61 will be propelled with efficient shaft drive and hull design that deliver even better fuel consumption figures than pod-drives.  Maritimo has estimated that with fuel capacity of 5700 liters the M61 will have a range of 750 nautical miles at a speed of 21-22 knots. Catering is a breeze with a massive galley with the option of  domestic sized refrigerators. The M65 like the new M61 could have the popular Euro style transom or it could be optioned to have Maritimo's traditional island transom or a fishing version.

Maritimo presents the new S58, flagship of its Sedan Motoryacht range. This Maritimo S58 impresses for it's space, fit out and bright open plan layout. Project: Maritimo M65

Maritimo finally fills an important gap in its motor yacht range presenting a project between its M78 flagship, and the M58. This new M65 has been welcomed in the Maritimo family with high regard with the Gold Coast builder selling already three models on plan. The M65 continues Maritimo looks with an upper structure echoing sportfish enclosed bridge elements, and a hull featuring yacht practicalities; see walk around deep bulwarks side decks, full railing protection, and side windows for the cabins. The interior of the M65 will offers four double cabins, with a VIP to fore and a full beam owners stateroom. New Model: Maritimo M50 Motoryacht

One of the most successful flybridge motor yachts that Maritimo has produced, the M48 Cruising Motoryacht, has undergone a complete makeover and the new larger and more refined M50 Motoryacht is its new replacement model.  Before the first M50 Motoryacht was completed there were two sales in the USA as a result of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and discussions are underway with other prospective purchasers. The first M50 has now been produced and delivered in the United States.  The original M48 has been one of the company's most successful models with more than one hundred sold internationally and satisfied owners now using their M48 in places as far away as Italy, Spain, the UK, the USA and the UAE. The new look M50 cruising motor yacht takes the tried and proven and enhances it even further thanks to a longer hull and new features as a full beam midships owners cabin, and an astern galley configuration. Down under Australia second production power boat builder Maritimo, presents its new virtual World wide web show room.  Maritimo was founded by Bill Barry-Cotter in 2003, a man who has a forty years plus boat building experience and who was also behind the foundation of the other big Australia production boat builder; i.e. Riviera.  Maritimo currently builds eight models, in a three range series; Motoryachts, Convertibles, and Cabriolets.  The range starts up with the 440 Convertible, and extends to the M73 Motoryacht. Maritimo has also two other models of the Sport Yachts range which are actually re-labeled Mustang models for the US market.  Maritimo acquired Mustang in 2010, and today the brand features two models, plus one in project stages.  Maritimo's new web-site takes you around with the following buttons; Home, Oceans Apart, Models, Dealer Locator, Contact Us, Enquiry, and News and Events.

Project: Maritimo M58 Motoryacht

Maritimo shows off the project of new M58 Motoryacht, second in size of this range behind the M73 flagship, and third in the whole Aussie builder fleet.  The Motoryacht range from Maritimo and its boss Bill-Barry Cotter is a cross over design with sport fishing looks, and a yachts practicality.  You can see the sloop stern or walk around side decks, and the settee in the aft deck to notice that the M58 Motoryacht is indeed a yacht more then anything else.  The Maritimo will be an enclosed bridge version only with a single very comfortable helm up top.  Accommodation will offer three cabins with an owners room to midships, VIP suite to fore, and a third guest cabin in between.  Other appreciated features for the M58 Motoryacht will be the much an astern galley, and an internal staircase for the third deck enclosed bridge.  Standard power will come from twin 800hp Volvo, which should give a cruise of about 25 knots.
