Project: Atlantis 54

Following the recent much awaited launch of the Atlantis 50x4, the Tuscany builder part of the Azimut Benetti Group follows it with a bigger model project, the Atlantis 54 which apparently is to be launched very soon. The new 54 has a sporty yet elegant profile, following the hard top lines as introduced by this brand with the 55 in 2004, and then followed with the 50 and recent 50x4 model. New 54 will also follows these models with the much praised crystallized hard top. While little details are so far available, the plans show for a very spacious upper deck living area, an up and down bathing platform for tender stowage, sun pad aft and spacious c-shaped settee with wet bar opposite featuring a high low plasma TV. The engines have also not been announced, so it is also interesting to see if Atlantis will opt for IPS or a conventional shaft configuration.

New Model: Atlantis 50x4

This is a very innovative new model from Atlantis, the Sport Cruiser and Sport Yacht brand of the Azimut Benetti Group, spanning from 31 to 55 feet. Announced as the 48 model during the last Genova Boat Show, the new Atlantis 50x4 was previewed during the Groups yachting gala, held in Viareggio on 28 June. The 50x4 presents itself with innovation and versatility, and available as the title says in 4 different versions, accommodating the various customers requests and needs, but apart this the new Atlantis has also other advantages not seen in a sport yacht of this size. Like the particularly spacious upper deck with a single level walkable surface in teak of over 12 sq. yards, the almost total UV infrared resistant full glass hard top, a record height under the hard top with a good 196cm of headroom over the helm and new IPS engines offering better performance with significantly reduced fuel consumption. The four different versions of the new Atlantis span from the inside available in two or three cabin versions, or the upper deck available with patio door or without in an open layout. The new 50x4 is powered by Volvo's IPS 600 engines, which in our estimate should give top speeds of over 30 knots and cruising in the higher 20s range. Now it's just to wait for the public to admire the new Sport Yacht from Atlantis, with official presentation in September during the Cannes show.

New Model: Atlantis 35 Plus

Atlantis has to be praised for this new version of the 35 model, now offered to a wider audience with the Plus, presenting some important differences adding more comfort for extended family trips. The immediate noticeable design difference of the Plus model over the standard 35 is the radar arch, giving the characteristics of a cruiser versus the sporty design of the standard version. The cockpit of the Plus version also follows the concept of a cruiser with a completely modified layout, now in a more family design featuring a well sized C-shaped settee to starboard, an entrance from the bathing platform to port and also a small wash basin with grill in the cockpit to port, giving superior comfort outside. The new 35 Plus shows the sensibility of Atlantis, offering a very high profile product in a new different version reaching a wider audience. The 35 Plus just adds the bonus of a different boat but keeping important successful points in the standard version like the comfortable interior accommodation space, luxurious finishing and performance of 40 knots.

Project: Atlantis 48

A new model project for this successful company, the new Atlantis 48 follows similar exterior lines as shown for the bigger 55, and the 50 model as designed by Stefano Righini. This is a great project with lot of important novelties like Volvo IPS propulsion and an interior with four different option layouts. The first option choice would be a patio door separation for the upper saloon area, making this area a closed all weather space in a few seconds, instead of the standard open version. The other two options involve the lower deck area: with the standard being a two cabin with saloon and galley down below and the optional offering a third cabin, with double bunk beds and a smaller but functional galley to port side, in respect to starboard as for the standard two cabin version. Other important functions for the new Atlantis are the crystallized hard top and hydraulic bathing platform for tender launching. This soon to come model seems hitting the boxes of current sports cruiser trends, with a variety of interesting options that make her stand out from the competition and what will be hard to match in this size offer.

Project: Atlantis 47 HT

Atlantis present a hard top version of the Atlantis 47, which makes this model even more enjoyable and even better looking. The designers have created a hard top that adds extra elegance to the boat’s sporty profile, plus the bonus of having a boat suited to not so good climates.
