Mew Model: Clipper 50 Hudson Bay

A new challenge for down under Clipper motor yachts, who with the Hudson Bay series presents a mix up of traditional looking modern function down East lobster boat inspired yacht.  The Hudson Bay series is so far offered in two models; the 54 first project presented currently under development, and the 50 number one launch of the series taking to the water past March.  A different product from the more explorer Cordoba series offered by Clipper, although the same hull type of semi displacement design is offered in the Hudson Bay series.  But with a faster speed. The 50 Hudson Bay is first of all a very functional yacht with two layout choices available to the buyer, from the standard three cabins with owners stateroom to fore, or a two suites format which moves the master to midships.  Another interesting feature is also the choice of the helm station located to starboard, or central in the optional layout.  To like in the 50 Hudson Bay, is the galley located astern of the main deck saloon which thanks to the pivoting window of the patio door, becomes also part of the aft deck.  Power is from twin standard Yanmar 440 or optional 480hp which give a 26 knots max, 16 cruise, and a long range 8 knots economic run.
