Project: CRN 62m Dislopen Sport

CRN, the Ferretti Group shipyard and brand, presents a unique megayacht concept which is destined to establish new standards in the international luxury yachting industry.   Dislopen, a range of innovative steel and aluminum boats, which marry the shape and style of a high-performance open boat with the volume and the comfort of a large displacement yacht.  CRN intends for the Dislopen line to develop a new range in leisure boats, that offer a unique way to experience sailing and cruising, offering constant direct contact with the sea through its outdoor areas whilst having even greater onboard comfort and space. This original concept developed from a combination of ideas garnered from CRN’s many years of experience in bespoke Megayachts, as well as the architects Gianni and Paola Zuccon of Studio Zuccon International Project, long-standing partners of the brand and the Ferretti Group. The Dislopen line is born from a combination lines and looks with the 62 Sport project being the first of the models to be shown in rendering.  A further two models of 46 and 52 meters will follow.  The Dislopen range has a sporty look, similar to that of small and medium yachts, but is also able to make longer trips, even across the ocean, and still have the typical comfort of a displacement mega yacht. The Dislopen CRN 62m Sport will have five decks, owner’s, main deck, lower deck, sub deck, the latter is reserved for technical spaces and the galley), on which open areas prevail.  The interior and the exterior layout has been redesigned to obtain simple and functional solutions that exploit each area on board in an original manner.  The Dislopen 62m Sport is powered by twin Caterpillar engines that can reach a cruising speed of 14 knots and a max 15. The ships are classified by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping and are MCA compliant.

Project: CRN 52m Classic

By blending the seventies and the eighties style with the technology of the new millennium, CRN, the ship yard and brand of the Ferretti Group, has created the new 52m Classic project.  The shape of the CRN 52m Classic are squarish, “pure” and inspired to the nautical period dating back to the seventies through to the mid-eighties and to two prestigious boats, namely the 47 metre “Azzurra” and the 61 metre “Il Vagabondo. The 52 metre mega yacht, was developed from the CRN naval architectural solutions, in collaboration with Studio Zuccon International Project and meets the ship owners need in a flexible manner. This new layout allows one to have closer contact with the sea, thanks to solutions some of which have already been seen on other CRN super yachts like the outdoor “beach club” at the sterns, the terrace of the ship owner’s suite, and the presence of the three tenders on board, one of which is eight instead of two metres long.  52m Classis will have five bridges which accommodates up to twelve passengers in five guest cabins; divided in a master and four guest suites.  Crew space will be for twelve members. Power is estimated at a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 coming from twin Cat engines.

Improve-it = CRN 60m hull. 130

CRN has privately launched the CRN 130, a 60 meter steel and aluminum super yacht, in Ancona.  The owner’s family, the management and workers of CRN, who celebrated the completion of the seventh pleasure ship of 60 metres produced since 2005, were present at the shipyard. This is an important achievement in this particular market. The elongated streamlined profile and the imposing cream-colored hull strongly characterize this 60 metre leisure boat, hull number 130 of the shipyard, made of steel and aluminum, and commissioned from CRN by a European ship owner.  The slim and sleet bow and the imposing volumes with wide spaces overlooking the sea characterize this mega yacht, whose external lines bear the signature of Zuccon International Project Studio, which worked in close collaboration with the technical office of CRN, while the interior design was taken care of by the architects Alexandre and Cristina Negoescu.  Hull 130 was built on a naval platform of 10.20 meters, the same used for other famous boats such as the CRN; 126 "Blue Eyes" and 128, both of 60 meters. The same philosophy and technological innovations are found in the open spaces that distinguish CRN: the terrace in the master cabin and the beach club at the stern and the stern hatch that turns into a big beach close to the water which will be equipped as a solarium.  The Zuccon International Project designers created the super yacht with great attention to spatial quality, making it elegant, timeless, and thus increasing its value for both the owner and the shipyard.  Circular patterns prevail in the interior design, giving it a new image of on board comfort, with fluid spaces, which open up and extend to all the other areas. There is also a minimal style and an art deco spirit that fuse with elegance and sophistication, representing “modern style”.   Its minimalist décor, its monochromatic interiors and its sinuous forms, create a new contemporary habitat of extreme pleasure.  The new vessel can accommodate 12 guests in 5 guest cabins, the master cabin and 14 crew members. The yacht is equipped with two Cats 1950hp engines that cruise at a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.

Improve-it = CRN 43

Just a few months away from the spectacular launching of Clarena 2, a 72 metre super yacht, CRN celebrates a new baptism at sea. “Eviva”, a magnificent 43 metre super yacht, fifth hull of the successful composite CRN 43 line, has touched the sea just a few days ago. The shipyard dedicated this event to its client, who came with his family and closest friends for a moment of special pride at all levels. In fact, the shipowner toasted to this occasion together with the workers involved in the construction of the vessel, testifying a relationship of trust and cohesion. The emotions and joy shared during the ceremony culminated with the impressive slipway launch. “Eviva”, realized with the collaboration of Zuccon International Project who took care of the external and internal layouts, stands out for its significant volumes and the wide-open areas, such as the covered cockpits of the main deck and the upper deck, which turn into a magnificent white hull. Comfort is the password on this boat which can host ten special guests in five cabins and nine crew members, and sail at a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. Equipped with four decks and a bulbous bow, 43 number five was entirely built at the Dorian premises starting from the realization of prints and the lamination of the hull up to phase of defining furnishings and decorations. Therefore, the entire productive process is controlled for quality and reliability, both characteristics of CRN, testifying the great expertise of the local workers. These are skills that the Ancona yacht builder flexibly uses even for composite hulls to customize and improve them at the owners request. In fact this CRN 43 hull number five features structural modifications on the sun deck, which has been elongated at the stern to make space for a helipad, which has been installed for the first time on a 43 metre. On the same sun deck, upon client’s request, there will also be a six metre sailing boat which together with two jet skis will form the super yacht personal water crafts. The owner and his guests will be able to enjoy the comfort of the internal areas, including the possibility to use the fitness area with a gym overlooking the beach of the lower deck and a sauna for relaxation time. Moreover, one of the other improved peculiar characteristics of this super yacht is the owners suite terrace, a balcony with table and chairs for breakfast which is a distinctive element of the entire CRN fleet.
