Sport Cruiser Goes Ablaze in Bohemia River, Earlville

A ten meter sport cruiser with two persons and a dog aboard went ablaze as it was sitting at the dock of Richmond's Marina, Bohemia River, Upper Chesapeake, Earlville on the afternoon of 22 June.  The boat went ablaze as the Marina staff tended to the fire first, and then after thinking the fire was controlled the boat went ablaze again.  TowBoatU.S Chesapeake City tended to the fire when the boat reignited, and were assisted by Hack Point Fire Company, as they towed the sport cruiser outside the marina and fought the blaze.  No injuries were reported as the boaters dropped off the boat immediately.  The sport cruiser was ultimately wrecked.
The sport cruiser in this fire is a Doral 350 SC as produced from 1996 to 1999.  The 350 SC was a replacement to the Doral 350 Boca Grande, and was replaced by the 360 SE.
