Tullio Abbate New Web Site

Tullio Abbate presents its new web site.  Tullio Abbate was started in 1969, a continuation of the Abbate boating name which was founded in 1873 by Giuseppe Abbate and followed by his son Guido in 1940.  Third generation Tullio Abbate, was the older of the three sons of Guido and enters boating in 1962, as he builds Il Cinque, a plywood built red coloured racing boat of five meters in length which will go on to win the Centomiglia race of that year.  A year later in 1963 Tullio will join father Guido in the Abbate family boating business, famous in that time for building classic fast runabouts in wood with sleek lines.  In 1965 while racing at the six hours Paris race, Tullio Abbate sees a reinforced plastic British build deep-Vee speed boat, and decides he wants to build a similar craft.  The decision to build boats in fiberglass will angry father Guido as he foregoes him out of the family business, with Tullio founding his own ship yard in 1969 and building the Sea Star, the first Tullio Abbate boat.  With the shipyard founded Tullio Abbate will keep on racing and setting records retiring in 2001.  In his career Tullio has won eleven Centomiglia races from 1962 up to 2001, becoming Offshore Class Two Champion in 1975, and set a record for a diesel engine powerboat in 1979 reaching 107 knots or two hundred kilometres per hour on 23 May of that year in Tremezzo.  Mostly known for fast powerboat cruisers up to about fifteen meters, Tullio did build a few large sport yachts over twenty meters, the fist being the Exception 70 in 1989, which is followed by the Exception 90 six years later what is still today the largest Tullio Abbate build to date.  The Exception 90 is an interesting super sport yacht, and is to date the largest yacht build near a lake, which powered by quadruple 1500hp engines with surface drives reaches a speed of fifty knots.  Tullio Abbate was also the boat builder of the personalities who apart customers also become friends; Alain Prost, Aryton Senna, Gilles Villeneuve, Bernie Ecclestone, Björn Borg, Diego Maradona, Didier Pironi, Giacomo Agostini, Gianni Versace, Gilles and Jacques Villeneuve, Jacky Ickx, Keke Rosberg, Nelson Piquet, Nico Rosberg, Niki Lauda, Matteo de Nora, Rene Arnoux, and Riccardo Patrese.  Aryton Senna also build a special dedicated special fast cruiser with Tullio Abbate, the Senna 42 Evolution launched in 1995 and produced till 2001. Unfortunately for Senna he will not get to see it following his dead on first May 1994 during the San Marino Grand Prix at the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola.  Tullio Abbate Junior will join the father family business in 2002 following in the Senior's footstep of building boats and racing, and winning two world championships this far in his career, and takes over the family business in 2012.  Tullio Abbate Senior will die at age 75 at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan on nine April 2020, after being infected by COVID-19 during the pandemic in Italy.  Currently Tullio Abbate builds twelve models divided into three line ups; Classic, Comfort, and Sport, with the offer starting from the seven meter Flash 755, and go up to the Superiority 52.  Tullio Abbate new web site takes you around with the following buttons; Home, Our History, Boats, Vintage, Special Projects, and Contact.  Tullio Abbate is also on social media with a right top button taking you to its Instagram page.

Princess New Web Site

Princess updates it's new World wide web showroom to a new version.  Princess original debut comes in the fall of 1969, although the company forms its foundations in 1963 and 1965.  In 1963 three ex-naval officers Cliff Viney, Brian Phillips and David King, will buy a hull and deck mould of a Senior 31 boat to fit out for a charter business.  The trio will find it hard to get deposits and firm bookings in charter and decide to sell the fitted out 31 boat.  Finding the sell easy to do, they found Marine Projects in 1965, and present the Project 31 foot motor cruiser, a design improved Senior 31 which debuts in that same year.  It will take four years and two smaller Project's and Pilgrim model, when in 1969 Marine Projects presents the Project 31 replacement, the Princess 32.  Princess has arrived with the 32, which produced till 1980 will sell in two thousand units, writing history as the Plymouth yacht builder best seller to date.  In 1974 Princess hires John Bennett to design the planning V-shaped hull version of the 37.  The Bennett collaboration will last till 1980 when they hire Bernard Olesinski to design the 30DS, who since then has designed all Princess models.  The 30DS will also be another of Princess's best selling models, with over five hundred units sold in a ten year production which also includes the Flybridge and S versions.  In 1983 Princess enters the open sport cruiser market with the Riviera line and the 286, followed by a 36 Riviera, with the larger being the 46 Riviera and smallest the 266 Riviera.  Princess will make seven different Riviera models produced for thirteen years and till 1996, with line replaced by the V series line of open sport cruisers and yachts in the fall of 1995.  The V series is distinctive and modern with its Italian design inspired integrated windshield radar arch and straight sheer line, and debuts with the two V39 and V52 models.  Still ongoing the Princess V-series will never stop expanding entering into the hard-top design with the first generation V65 launched in 2000, and arriving to its largest size with the 2010 to 2012 produced V85-S.  Currently the V-series offers four models from the V40 to the fourth generation V65.  In 1996 Princess launched the M-line of flagship motor yachts, debuting the new 22M, with this followed by the 20M in that same years, and the 25M which arriving in 2001 enter Princess into the 24 meters plus super yacht size.  In 2011 Princess pushes more into super yacht with the renewed M class line, first with the 32M, which is followed in 2012 by the largest Princess to date and composite boat ever build in the UK the 40M. The renewed M series had a total of four models including the 35M and 30M, this smaller M being the newer and last model in the line, was dropped in 2020.  In 2020 Princess will debut the volume focused X range as designed by Pininfarina and Olesinski, and debuting with the X95 and is followed by the X80 the following year.  From 1973 to 2003 Marine Projects also part-owned sailing yacht builder Moody, this founded in 1827 as a timber boat builder and repair yard, and entering fiberglass construction in 1965.  In the thirty years Marine Projects owned Moody it presented 39 models and sold a total of 4233 units.  Princess has had four owners since its founding, although one of the three founders, David King was it's chairman from founding till September 2014, and is still as a director today.  From 1981 till 2008 Princess will be owned by Graham J. Beck, and his Renwick Group from South Africa.  Interestingly in between 1996 to 2005 Renwick also owned competing British builder Fairline.  Renwick will sell to Princess to L Capital 2 in May 2008, an investment  group co-sponsored by Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton and Groupe Arnault.  In January 2016 L Capital will merge with Catterton to become L Catterton, with this selling in February 2023 to KPS Capital Partners, an American investment company.  Currently Princess has five sites in Plymouth, from the original New Port street which started as a rented shed but today owns in its entirety with head office on site since 1965, to Lee Mill, Langage, Coypool, and South Yard purchased in 2012 to produce the larger yachts and previously owned by HMNB Devonport.  The Princess current line up offers nineteen models in five different lines; X Class, Y Class, F Class, S Class, and V Class. The current Princess entry level model is the V40 while the flagship model is the X95 Vista. Princess latest models are the V80 and Y65, while upcoming new projects are the fourth generation V65 and X90. Princess new web site is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese language and takes you around with the following buttons: Our Yachts, Our Story, Events, and Careers, and Make an Enquiry.  Princess is also on social media with bottom page link buttons taking you to its; Facebook, Twitter. Marex New Web Site

Marex presents its new web site.  Marex was founded in 1973 by Eyvin Aalrud in Rykene, with the name coming from the Latin words Mare-Rex which means King of the Sea.  In its first year Marex debuted the 24 Sun Cab model, which was also offered in a 24 Sun Fun variant by the end of that year.  The first Marex 24 Sun Cab model will be produced for fourteen years selling 432 units, its second best sold model to date following the 21 Flexi from the eighties till 2001 which sold in 593 units.  In 1979 Marex suffers a set back as its Rykene factory is destroyed by a fire, with Eyvin relocating in Fevik, a previous Fjord Boats factory.  In 1996 Marex started a cooperation with Saulius Pajarskas and Raimondas Siugzdinis who had a small boat production facility in Kaunas, Lithuania.  This was started with the 270 Estremo model, but eventually all the production will be moved to the Baltic state.  Marex has always been a family holding and continues as at today with this philosophy with Eyvin sons, Espen and Thomas Aalrud taking over the company helm in 2009.  Marex has up till today build over 3500 boats in over thirty different models, and received twelve awards. Today Marex offers seven models from nine to twelve meters, starting with the 310 Sun Cruiser and go up to 440, with its latest model being the 440 Scandinavia arriving in early 2025. Prestige New Web Site

Prestige presents its new website.  Prestige was officially started in 2009, although the name first appeared in Jeanneau's model line up in 1989, when the Prestige 41 sport cruiser as designed by Massimo Musio-Sale and Vittorio Garroni, and naval architecture by Japec and Jernej Japokin.  The Jeanneau Prestige 41 was a good seller, with the first hull sold to famous French actor Alain Delon and selling a total of 45 units, but ultimately the model will only be produced for two years till 1991, and its platform used for the Ferretti joint venture Yarding Yacht brand and the 42 Fly and 42 Open models for another two years till 1994.  Eight years after the Jeanneau 41 Prestige is discontinued, the French boat and yacht builder now since 1995 owned by the Groupe Beneteau decides to return Prestige, and again gives design duties to Vittorio Garroni, as it presents the 36 with flybridge in the fall of 1999.  The Jeanneau Prestige 36 will start the Prestige line, as the model is followed by the Prestige 32 a year later in 2000, and the Prestige 34S sport cruiser in 2003.  Thanks to its nice design by Garroni and competitiveness the Prestige line is by the mid noughties a top selling name in the motor and sport cruisers from ten to fourteen meters in size segment, and Jeanneau notes this and in 2004 opens a solely Prestige factory in Nantes, with the plan to enter into the larger fifteen meters plus sizes, which it does in 2006 as it presents the Prestige 50S.  Seeing again more success Groupe Beneteau decides in 2009 to re-brand Prestige as an independent brand, as it launches the new Prestige 60 flagship model in that same year.  Following the rebranding Prestige keeps on expanding into larger sizes, as in 2013 it also launches the 750, which is produced for four years and still its largest build to date.  Prestige has in its story made two bold design choices; with the X-Line and M-Line series. The X-Line is a wide body volume focused series which arrived in 2019 and debuts with the X70 and is followed by the asymmetric semi-wide-body X60.  The M-Line comes in 2022 entering Prestige into the power catamaran segment with the M48, which is followed a year later in 2023 by the M8, what is Prestige largest for volume model to date.  As top sellers go the Jeanneau Prestige 34S from 2003 to 2009 is its best sold model to date with over five hundred units sold, and is followed by the 500 Flybridge and S sharing platform as produced from 2011 to 2019 which sells four hundred plus in total for the two model versions.  Currently Prestige offers thirteen models, divided into four lines; M-Line, X-Line, F-Line, and S-Line which start from the 420S and go up to the X70.  All Prestige models have to date been designed by Garroni, with the latest models being the F4.3 which debuted last January, and the upcoming M7 which is set to arrive in mid this year.  The Prestige web site is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkey, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese, and takes you around with the following buttons; The Brand, Our Yachts, News, Services, Our Dealers, Configurator, and Contact.  Prestige is also on social media with bottom page links taking you to its Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and Linkedin pages.

Aquila New Web Site

Aquila presents its new web site.  Aquila from Hangzhou, China was founded in 2012 by the Xiong family owned Sino Eagle Group in a joint venture with Lex Rass, and MarineMax co-founder at the time CEO Bill McGill.  Sino Eagle Group was founded officially in 2007, but its founder John Zhangyou Xiong entered boat building in 1985 when he was studying carpentry and furniture making in China and working part time with a boat builder.  At the end of that same year John starts his own business and started designing and building high performance rowing shells, with his first build launched in March 1986, and the same rowing boat winning a gold medal in April 1986.  In 1990 Xiong will get his important breakthrough as he gets an order for 61 racing shells for the 1990 Asian Games, but this gets disrupted as the factory roof collapses in a storm some weeks before delivery destroying some of the finished shells.  Still Xiong and his staff with commitment and hardship will manage to complete the order, and deliver the shells in time.  In 2007 Sino Group is founded, while in 2011 Sino Eagle USA is formed in Florida.  This will lead to the Aquila brand arriving in 2012, first with the Aquila 38 which debuted in that year, and is followed by the Aquila 48 as designed by JandJ with input from MarineMax.  Today Aquila is recognized as the largest in volume Power Catamaran builder in the World, currently offering twelve power catamarans from eight to 21 meters, and divided into four series; Offshore, Sport, Coupe, and Yachts.  Aquila latest 2025 models are the just launched 42 Coupe and 46 Coupe.  Aquila new website takes you around with the following buttons; Offshore, Sport, Coupe, Yachts, Luxury, About, and Find a Dealer.  Aquila is also on social media with bottom page buttons taking you to its; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Linkedin pages.

Sunseeker New Web Site

Sunseeker updates its world wide web showroom. Sunseeker story starts in 1962 when Idris Braithwaite sons, Robert and John enter the family business and a year later to this moves his chandlery and outboards shop down the road from Christchurch to Poole.  With this change of location the Braithwaite's and business partner John Macklin enter into boat sales of American, British, and Scandinavian made boats and Poole Powerboats Limited is created.  In 1969 the Braithwaite's purchase two boat moulds for a seventeen and a twenty foot cuddy sport cruisers from Brunswick owned Owens Incorporated, with the first becoming the Poole Powerboats 17 Sovereign in 1971 and the other the 20 Sovereign a year later.  These first two boats are also the first standard stern drive equipped made in Britain boats.  For that time the two cuddy cabin cruisers sufficed Poole Powerboats purpose as entry to the dealership family of Scandinavian made Coronet, Draco, and Windy boats, as the Braithwaite's also become the largest Volvo Penta parts supplier for the United Kingdom in the early seventies.  Nonetheless a year forward the boat production business expands in late 1972 with the 23 Sports, followed four years later by the Daycab 23.  The Poole Powerboats 23 Sports and Daycab 23 were also the first to feature the Sunseeker prefix on the hull, used by Robert Braithwaite for European export reasons as Poole Powerboats was likely to be confused with the French ‘poulet’ word for chicken in France.  Produced in 120 units from 1976 to 1979 the Daycab 23 was Poole Powerboats first big success, which pushes the Braithwaite brothers into boat building, and in 1978 will partner with naval architect Don Shead, who debuts with the 28 Offshore and will not look back afterwards, for a partnership that will last till 2010 and his retirement.  In 1979 Poole Powerboats changes its name and is rebranded to what has been known since then as Sunseeker.  From their onwards the range becomes more complete and the sizes keep growing from the 31 Offshore in 1982, to the CUV 38 racing powerboat derived hull 34 XPS Portofino in 1983, to the 36 Rapallo in 1984, 47 Malibu in 1987, 60 Renegade in 1990 which was Britain's largest production yacht in that year, then to the Predator 63 in 1994, until arriving in the 24 meter plus super size with the 80 Predator in 1995 which again takes the mantle of Britain's largest production build yacht.  After the 80 Predator Sunseeker has been building United Kingdom largest production super yachts, which will arrive to its largest 155 Yacht as build in two units between 2014 and 2016.  Sunseeker also competed in various offshore races in the past for the most part in the eighties and noughties in the Endurance class, with its high point coming when it won the Round Britain 1984 in the CX Class, and placing fifth overall with a 34 XPS Portofino.  The Braithwaite's will sell Sunseeker in 2010 to Irish private equity firm FL Partners, who in December 2013 resell to Chinese company Dalian Wanda Group.  In November 2024 Sunseeker was sold to private equity firms Lionheart Capital from the U.S. and Italy’s Orienta Capital Partners.  Sunseeker today produces 24 models from 38 foot to fifty meters, in six ranges; Performance, Predator, Sport Yacht, Manhattan, Yacht, Ocean, and Superyacht.  Sunseeker current offer starts from the outboard powered Fabio Buzzi designed Hawk 38 and go up to the still in project 50M Ocean, with its latest model being the second generation Manhattan 68 which debuted past January.  Sunseeker new web site takes you around with the following buttons; Menu, Yachts, and Dealer Locator. Grand Banks New Web Site

Grand Banks unveils a new World wide web virtual showroom site. Grand Banks started operating in 1956 as American Marine Limited founded by Robert J. Newton and sons John and Whit in Hong Kong. But the start was not about a trawler yacht, as its first jobs it built custom Sparkman and Stephens, William Gardner, Nat Herreshoff, and Ray Hunt designed sailing yachts.  American Marine entry into motor boating starts in 1961 as they start to produce the Chantyman, a 34 foot cruiser designed by Hugh Angleman and Charles Davies which will be build in twenty units till 1963.  In 1963 Grand Banks also build a luxurious one off 65 foot constructed of mahogany and teak to a design of Walter J McInnis for wealthy American, Philip L Van Every, who was Chief Executive of Lance Inc. and Mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1962 though comes the real change as the Newton's commission Kenneth Smith a 36 feet humble cruising boat with work-boat like looks, which will be named Spray. This 36 Classic was a turn around for the Newton's and with it a change from building custom sailing yachts to this traditional looking explorer cruiser.  Launched in 1964 this Kenneth Smith design will evolve into the Grand Banks 36 Classic and remain in production till 2004, and was followed in the same year by a smaller 32 Sedan, with this series taking the name of Heritage into the years and totalling 22 models in a production run which lasted till 2016 and included a one off 80 model launched in 1975. In 1973 Grand Banks starts switching all its models to fiberglass construction.  1993 marks an important move to Grand Banks launching the Eastbay series designed by previous collaborator Ray Hunt, and inspired to the Down East lobster boats.  The Eastbay started with the 38 EX and up till today it has totalled sixteen models, from the small 38 to the 60 which arrived in 2022.  In 2001 the Aleutian larger yacht series was introduced with the 64, and in fourteen years it featured seven different models from the 2010 two year produced 53 to the 76 RP produced from 2010 till 2012. In 2014 Grand Banks started a new path when it bought out Palm Beach motor yachts and CEO Mark Richards takes over the leadership of both companies.  After Mark Richards took over he changed the traditional GB explorer line, and reinvented it with V-warp hull shape, and redefined exterior looks, starting it with the GB60 launched in 2017.  Currently Grand Banks offers nine models in two range Eastbay and and the reinvented explorer GB line. The Grand Banks line starts with the Eastbay 44, and goes up to the Grand Banks 85.  Grand Banks new web site takes you around with the following buttons; Models, V Warp Technology,  Factory Direct Advantage, Service, Pre-Owned, Grand Banks Heritage, and Contact. Cranchi New Web Site

Cranchi presents its new World wide web showroom. Cranchi was officially founded in 1870, with the today World known production and yacht builder story starting when Giovanni Cranchi opens a workshop in Como in 1866 building fisherman and transport boats on commission, who after four years officially registers Cantiere Nautico Cranchi. In 1932 the grandson of Cranchi also named Giovanni purchases a building in Brienno, Como on the lake shore and transforms it into a shipyard. This step leads into 1952 when Cranchi and his children devote themselves to wooden boats mass production. But the real turn around for Cranchi comes from fourth generation Aldo in 1970, who partners with Tullio Monzino, moves to shipyard to nearby Valtellina and starts fiberglass production in the new establishment in Piantedo, Sondrio. This move produces the first Kiko model, and leads after this to various over one thousand delivered models; 1971 4.85 Pilotina, 1974 20 Rally, and the 1997 launched 34 Zaffiro. The plant in Piantedo also continues its expansion and in the eighties expands to 20,000 squared metres, and again to 33,000. Other sites are also added; San Giorgio di Nogaro Marine Test Center in 1997, San Giorgio di Nogaro 22,000 square meters factory, a third plant in Colico, Lecce, and last in 2005 the opening of Seventy Plant 4 dedicated to plus fifty foot yachts in an area of 100,000 squared meters of which 25,000 covered located in Rogolo, Sondrio. In all these plants Cranchi today produces ten models from the entry level E26 Rider, to the Settantotto 78 flagship, with its latest models being the just debuted Sessantasette 67 Corsa and the Sessantadue 62, with an upcoming Cinquantatre 53 project coming in 2025. Tuccoli New Web Site

Tuccoli presents its new World wide web showroom.  Tuccoli was started in 1960 by Livorno native Ivano Tuccoli.  Ivano becomes a shipwright carpenter in 1956, and four years after this sets his own shop building at first wooden rowing boats, and then expanding to the Ligurian Gozzo fishing boats.  In 1970 Ivano's son Marco joins the father in the shop, while in 1974 the Tuccoli's expand to a new production area of 200 squared meters.  In 1984 Tuccoli starts building in fiberglass, with this move taking us to the nineties and noughties period of success as the Livorno builder launches the models which made its story, from the T300 in 1997 to the still in production T280 in 2001, and the T410 in 2005. Tuccoli closes its door in 2010 following the aftermath of the 2008 Great Recession, with the company re-opening in 2017, as one proud Tuccoli owner for fifteen years Paolo Sanguettola restarts production in that year.  Sanguettola starts a new plan and enlist Oris Martino D'Ubaldo as designer, who starts by redesigning the previous projects as designed by Eros Bollani.  In 2019 Tuccoli starts a Professional Division and in 2022 it purchases Lion Yachts, and in 2024 the mould making Navalstampi.  Today Tuccoli offers ten models in three ranges from the six meter T210 VN to the thirteen meter T440 SF Elba.  Tuccoli new website is available in Italian and English language and takes you around with the following buttons; Home, Company, Range, 3D Configurator, Tuccoli Guarantees, Boat Garage, Sales Network, News, Tuccoli Technology, Video, and Contacts.  Tuccoli is also on social media with a button at the left bottom of the page taking you to its Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube pages.

Regal New Web Site

Regal presents its new web site.  Regal was founded by Paul and Carol Kuck in 1969 with investors Gene Kandel and Clark Prudhon.  The company starts with a fourteen foot ski-boat, which is followed by a 17 tri-hull, and a 21 cuddy cabin.  The first two years see immediate expansion with Regal expanding to a bigger facility in Orlando in 1971, unfortunately though the 1973 oil embargo nearly stops the boating market with the company going near bankruptcy in that year.  Things though start to turn around after the mid seventies as in 1976 Regal expands beyond the USA shipping its first boats to Austria in Europe.  In 1996 Regal presents the FasTrac Hull design which also makes it win the Innovation Award by International Marine Trade Exhibit and Conference.  This will be the first of seven more awards for Regal with the latest coming in 2022 for Customer Satisfaction Award.  In 2003 Regal becomes and decides to operate as a debt free company, something which still continues till today.   Regal co-founder Paul Kuck passes away on five September 2006, as the leader ship of the company passes to his eldest son Duane.  In 2008 Regal expands its premises, with another expansion coming in 2023 for its Florida site.  Currently Regal offers forty models in six lines; Sterndrive Bowrider, Outboard Bowrider, Surf, SAV, Express Cruiser, and Yacht which start from the 2000 ES and go up to the 50 SAV.  Regal's new web site takes you around with the following buttons; Our Boats, Build Your Boat, View Inventory, Events, Why Regal, and Careers.

Sealine New Web Site

Sealine presents its new World wide web showroom.  Sealine was officially started in 1978 although its bases were laid in 1972, as aeronautical engineer Tom Murrant could not find a cabin cruiser he liked, and decided to design and build one himself.  Tom builds the mould for his design and goes to Midland Marine to produce this boat, offering a swap deal, they build it for him and they get the design.  Unfortunately for Tom, Midland Marine was a busy company at the time, and the production for his boat never gets started, it is here that Murrant meets Frank Fish who with Ray Walker and another friend offer him to build the boat in his garage. The result is the 23ft Continental, which gets so much positive remarks, that Tom decides to take five hundred pounds from his life insurance fund, recruit his wife Jane as secretary and set up Fibrasonic in a rented building at Halfpenny Green airfield near Bobbington in Staffordshire to produce the cabin cruiser.  It looks promising but only for a short time as the 1973 to March 1974 Oil Crisis hits the global economy hard in sixth October of that year, doubling resin prices, with the UK government introducing a 25% VAT and a three day week.  But Fibrasconic survives this period which lasts five years by branching into industrial moulding, producing items for the British Rail, road signs, Toby Jugs, and sub-contracting other boat builds for Sunliner and Scorpio.  In 1978 the Oil Crisis and its aftermath are over and Tom restarts his boat building bug and designs and builds the 19 Weekender, and in just six weeks completes it, with this followed by the 22 Sport and 22 Cabin in the same year.  These three boats debut to the public at the 1978 Southampton boat show, under the C-Line name meaning really Cruiser Line, and in the same year Murrant moves to Kidderminster, the site of bankrupt boat builder Dawncraft.  In the end of 1979, the C-Line name was changed to Sealine.  From the beginning Sealine distinct itself for offering gelcoat color options in blue, orange or yellow, but also for presenting a clever volume focused design giving more space to the foot.  The eighties are full of expansion for Sealine and in 1984 it presents the new 30 Statesman flagship.  The size keeps on growing with the 365 Sportsbridge coming in 1988, and the 450 Statesman in 1992, and then into yacht fifty feet plus in 1999 with the T51.  By the end of the eighties decade Sealine also enters the US market, and in 1998 is sold to a Venture Capitalist firm headed by Gerard Wainright.  The Wainright ownership last three years as in 2001 Sealine is sold to one of the largest pleasure marine industry corporations as USA Brunswick takes over the British boat builder for a reported 68 million US$.  The Brunswick period is followed by investment and expansion as Sealine also launches its largest model to date with the T60 in 2004.  Brunswick will sell Sealine in 2011 to Oxford Investment Group.  The Oxford period is dark for Sealine as it will declare bankruptcy a year later, and in 2013 is bought by current owners Hanse Group.  Hanse Group will only buy the brand and some of the tooling as it moves production to Greifswald Germany.  Sealine currently offers three series of boats; C for Coupe, S for Sport, and F for Flybridge for a total of nine models which starts at 33 feet with the C335 and and goes up to the F430 flagship.  Sealine latest new models is the S335 launched in 2022.  Sealine's new website takes you around with the following buttons; Motorboats, Sealine Legend, Magazine, Events, Dealers, Services, Contact Us, and Configure Now.  Sealine is also on social media with right bottom page buttons taking you to its Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Linkedin pages.
