A not attended fifteen meter flybridge yacht partly sank in Sirmione on Lake Garda on the morning Sunday 21 September.  The yacht was then later reported to have hit a reef during navigation the previous evening in rough water condition and handicapped with one engine, with the captain managing to bring it to its berth.  Following the part sinking the flybridge yacht was surrounded by a pollution protection boon, with a floating operation being organized on the coming days.
The yacht in this accident is a Galeon 510 Skydeck as designed by Tony Castro and produced since 2016.  The 510 HTC was based on the revolutionary 500 Fly platform, the first Galeon with drop down bulk heads, and a flybridge replaced by a part opening sunroof and smaller sport bridge up top.
