New Launch: Michael Rybovich 42 Sportfisherman Hull #10

Michael Rybovich have recently launched the 42 Sportfisherman, its latest tenth hull.  This latest tenth Michael Rybovich hull, brings the news for the revered Palm Beach located custom sportfish boat and yacht builder, for being its first IPS powered boat.  With the Volvo IPS propulsion arriving in 2005, it took over twenty years for Rybovich to build an IPS boat, although fair to say, as each Rybovich is made to order, this has as much to do about its customer base rather then the custom builder alone.  Custom boats are a thing of experienced owners, and a Rybovich might be two times of that.  This tenth hull is also the smallest of Michael Rybovich era which started in 2014 with the Hull #1 64 Walkaround.  Michael Rybovich 42 Sportfisherman Hull #10, comes as a game boat type sportfish cruiser, with not much amenities in the cabin, albeit a three berths forward cabin, spacious head with separate shower stall to port side, and galley on the lower deck.  Albeit unusual nowadays, game boats were quite a thing for Rybovich and the Florida based custom builders up until the seventies, as convertible more cabin featured sportfish started to take over.  Even the first Rybovich the 34 Hull #1 from 1947, the boat which is the basis of the modern sportfish cruiser and yacht was that bit a game boat type sportfish.

New Launch: Rossinavi 53.00 m FR052

Rossinavi launches in Pisa its latest custom yacht the 53 meters Hull FR052 titled yacht Heed. Rossinavi FR052 is designed by Alberto Mancini responsible for the vessel’s exterior design, Achille Salvagni Architetti who penned the interiors, and Arrabito for naval architecture. This Rossinavi’s latest 53-metre fast-displacement superyacht, was a close and energetic exchange with the client, combined with Rossinavi’s expertise, proved highly fruitful. The process was further supported by the Owner’s representative who carefully coordinated the designers and the construction process. Among the key features of FR052 are: beach club area featuring a pool and fold-down side platforms enhancing direct contact with the sea and expanding usable outdoor space, spacious main fully glaze saloon on the main deck ensuring uninterrupted sea views and natural light, panoramic dining area on the main deck equipped with a starboard-side fold-down balcony creating a seamless indoor–outdoor experience, forward Owner’s cabin located on the upper deck enhancing panoramic views and featuring a private outdoor area with a dedicated swimming pool, observation deck designed as an exclusive lookout point offering elevated views and a quiet space for relaxation or contemplation, and an onboard battery system allowing operation at anchor with the generators switched off enhancing onboard comfort and quietness. The exterior design of Rossinavi FR052 expresses a contemporary approach to luxury, defined by clarity, proportion, and restraint. Clean architectural lines and balanced volumes give the yacht a confident presence, ensuring it remains elegant at rest and dynamic underway, with a silhouette that is both distinctive and timeless. Reflecting the key points outlined above, the exterior design of the upper deck features a forward upper deck fully dedicated to the owner and conceived as a private outdoor space in direct dialogue with the sea. Here, a forward deck pool is positioned directly ahead of the Owner’s suite, designed not only for relaxation but also for swimming against the current. This elevated area offers privacy while maintaining openness toward the horizon. The metallic grey hull finish enhances the sculpted geometry of the super yacht, emphasizing the interaction between light and shadow across its refined surfaces. Subtle and modern, the color highlights the purity of the design and allows the yacht’s character to shift naturally throughout the day.

Project: Baglietto T54

Baglietto announce the T54 project, with the first hull currently ongoing outfitting for launch in 2027, and second hull starting construction for a 2028 delivery.  Designed by since 2000 Baglietto designer Francesco Paszkowski the T54 is a replacement to the T52 which since 2023, has been delivered in nine hulls, making it the most sold Baglietto above fifty meters to date.  With this success for the T52 it is natural for the Baglietto T54 to be it's natural evolution, adding more space aft for a larger beach club area around the infinity pool, and an expanded master stateroom located forward of the main deck.  Other interesting features of the Baglietto T54 are that despite its length increase, it will still remain a sub five hundred gross tonnage super yacht. The Baglietto T54 is to be powered by twin Cat engines for top speeds up to sixteen knots.

Project: Apreamare Tender My Way 35

Elegance, luxury and nautical tradition come together in the Mediterranean, where a project is taking shape to redefine the premium day-tour charter sector. You Know! S.r.l., Italy's leading company in the charter segment, has announced the launch of the new Tender My Way line of boats, created in collaboration with Apreamare. Based on the Gozzo 35 the Tender My Way project marks a multi-year strategic agreement between Apreamare and You Know!, which involves the progressive replacement of the entire current fleet with new-generation boats. More comfortable and protected seating, optimised shaded areas, simplified accessibility and on-board equipment designed for comfort and operational efficiency will be the cornerstones of the new fleet. Each seat is equipped with a USB socket and integrated cup holder, the bow area is designed with dual versatility that allows it to be quickly transformed into a comfortable sun deck, while a side opening on the hull facilitates entry into caves and the most picturesque corners of the coast. The first two units of the Apreamare Tender My Way will be launched in March 2026.

Project: Aiata Sunfinder 38

Aiata a brand founded by the Anadolu Group from Turkey follow its debut at the 2025 Dusseldorf boat show of the Wayfinder 38, with the more open Sunfinder 38.  Again a design from Jarkko Jämsén and his Navia Design Studio the Sunfinder 38 is an open version of the Wayfinder 38 replacing the fully enclosed hard-top with a central T-Top .  While many may think this is Wayfinder 38 Suntop version, in many cases it is correct with the exception that the hard-top has been extended giving extra sun cover to the aft part of the cockpit.  With this change the exterior main deck of the Aiata Sunfinder 38 offers a more open and sport layout.  A triple seat centre console helm now replaces the offset dual seat, with a galley located behind versus the one to side and L-shape of the Wayfinder 38, and an astern dinette with opposite settees.  Saying all, what I just said can change as the Aiata 38 comes with a modular construction, and specified during build.  For example the settee behind the helm station can be specified as an L-shape, and the fore deck layout is also available in four different versions; Camper, Sofa, U Sofa, and Sunbed.  The cabin layout with entrance to port of the helm, features a double berth, and shower head to starboard.  The Aiata Sunfinder 38 is powered by twin outboard engines from 300hp up to 400hp, with top speeds up to 46 knots from twin 350hp Mercury outboards.

Project: Galeon 520 Fly

Galeon have announced the new 520 Fly project.  A replacement to the 500 Fly after a decade in production, very little is known of this new 520 Fly project, except that it is designed by long standing Galeon designer Tony Castro.  The 500 Fly debuted Galeon today signature drop down terraces in 2015, and while not new at the time, the Polish yacht maker was the first to introduce this on cruisers rather then sports boats or mega yachts. The idea proved a winner, as the drop down balconies are now featured on nearly all Galeon's above thirteen meters.  The 520 Fly features more of everything, so except bigger transforming terraces, and as the above rendering shows more glazed surfaces, and a larger flybridge hard-top supported by an aft looking spoiler.

Improve-it = Cruisers 50 GLS

During the 2025 Fort Lauderdale boat show Cruisers presented a new enclosed door option to the 50 GLS.  Featuring a full enclosure at the middle of the main deck the patio door encloses the hard-top area, extending the boating season while offering elevated comfort and style. This design option enhances the already popular 50 GLS, giving owners even more ways to enjoy their time on the water.  This new option transforms the 50 GLS into a coupe, enclosing the part of the living deck thanks to a full walkthrough central door, and flip up windows, which with the nice weather connect the area to the aft deck.  Debuting in 2022 the 50 GLS is the largest model of the four model GLS bow rider range which today starts from ten meters.  Interestingly the 50 GLS is the only model in the GLS line powered only with outboards, offered with the triple Mercury 600hp only engine choice for speeds up to fifty knots, as the three other smaller models are also offered with stern drive option.

Project: Domina Yachts 50 WA

Domina Yachts present the project for a new 50 Walkaround set to arrive in most probability in the coming year.  Designed as the two other smaller Domina's by Marco Seri the 50 Walkaround comes as a larger offer to the 42 Walkaround, which is Domina current best seller.  So far very little information is offered on the 50 Walkaround, but with these scale models as displayed during the 2025 Genoa boat show, we know that it will feature latest amenities as drop down bulkheads, and an ever ending all fifteen meters length exterior space; with two; aft and fore dinettes.  The Domina Yachts 50 Walkaround in this scale models also shows a two stepped hull showing a performance focus probably to go beyond fifty knots.  Domina Yachts has not advised any engine and propulsion details, but I would imagine for the 50 Walkaround to be available with inboard surface drives, and outboards as the current 42 WA and 44R models.  During the 2025 Genoa boat show Domina Yachts also teased for a 50R open style yacht.

Project: Princess 106 Odyssey

Princess Yachts, the UK’s largest luxury yacht manufacturer, has announced its return to the thirty meters plus superyacht segment with the announcement of the 106 Odyssey project at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.  A bit of Princess super yachting history, the Plymouth yacht builder entered 24 meters plus sizes in 2001 when it launched the 25M, this was followed by always expanding sizes and under one hundred foot for a decade, that is when Princess buys part of the Devonport Naval Base in 2011, and enters thirty meters plus sizes in that same year debuting the 32M.  The 32M is followed by the largest Princess to date, the 40M, and then by the smaller 35M and 30M.  In total 38 yachts were build in eight years over thirty meters with the most successful being the 30M sold in fifteen units, and the 35M the least as it was delivered in seven hulls.  The 106 Odyssey marks the return for Princess in the thirty meter plus segment after an absence since 2019, and is the first model in a forthcoming range of larger yachts with a more ship like exploring presence, unlike the previous M range which had sleek modern lines. The 106 Odyssey is a super yacht designed to deliver more volume to square meter for its size, and will offer numerous interior configurations, possible from an innovative layout, and a range of optional packages to ensure customer choice is both simplified and wide-ranging. Princess say the 106 Odyssey is engineered for distance and long range, although thus far with this first project announcement they have advised no distance capability details, but they are saying it will feature a hybrid fast displacement hull.  As layout goes the main deck features an expansive cockpit and transom with flexible furniture and drop-down balconies designed to adapt effortlessly to every occasion. The owner’s suite includes a private lounge or ante-room, a dressing area, and a spa-inspired en-suite bathroom, while the upper deck offers configurable layouts with bespoke furniture options, an optional spa bath, and floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights that create a bright, airy sanctuary. The lower deck is to feature a full-beam VIP stateroom that can be transformed into two en suite double cabins, providing up to four elegant guest cabins in total. Crew quarters are located forward and include three cabins for five crew members, including a private Captain’s cabin and a welcoming crew mess.

New Model: Lancia Aprea 42

Lancia Aprea follows its first 52 model act with the smaller 42 which debuted at the 2025 Cannes boat show.  Again a design of Brunello Acampora, the smaller 42 follows the theme of the bigger sister, in bringing a walk around sport cruiser in a classic theme.  A lancia Sorrentina in form, although both the 42 and 52 augment the details; from the curved tumble home stern to the extra flared bow, all this make the Lancia Aprea a unique offer in the always more competitive walk around cruiser market.  Like its bigger sister the Lancia Aprea 42 is again a very semi custom offer, from ten unique color for the hulls, the first unit featured a unique Aurora Gold, and the choice theme continuing inside the cabin.  For example hull one had a forward double berth which can be spec'd as a U-shaped dinette which transforms to a double berth, and a midships cabin with twin berths and can be ordered as a double.  Other endless options come also to the power and propulsion; which start from twin 320 and go up to 440hp for the inboards, and propulsion choices of stern drives, to IPS pod drives, line shafts, and outboards with twin or triple's set up.  The outboard version is to be most powerful and faster of the choices; available with twin or triple Honda and Mercury from 350 to 400hp, giving maximum speeds up to 45 knots.
