The 2026 Palm Beach Boat Show now in its 44th edition is to be held from Wednesday 25 till Sunday 29 March.  In last year edition the Palm Beach Boat Show had over 55,000 visitors, over one thousand boats and yachts on display, and six hundreds plus brands taking part.  Owned by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and produced by Informa Markets, the Palm Beach International Boat Show will be taking place for its home in over thirty years along Flagler Drive in Downtown West Palm Beach, directly across the Intracoastal Waterway from Palm Beach Island.  The single area and it's location, what is called the Billionaire's Corridor are key to the Palm Beach Boat Show success, which in recent years has become one of the largest boat shows in the World and in USA, challenging the other big two US boat shows for the top spot.  For the 2026 edition the Palm Beach will feature the following World firsts; Alia Yachts 43m ALY431, CRN 67.55m hull.143, Everglades 437CX, Freeman 56, Intrepid 35 Valor, Manari 52, Numarine 40 MXP, Solaris Power 52 Open ST, and Viking 50 Billfish.

The Palm Beach Boat Show was started in 1982 as a modest,, inaugural event located at the Soverel Marine Harbor in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  By the late eighties, the show expanded to its current location along Flagler Drive in downtown Palm Beach, providing a stunning backdrop of the Intracoastal Waterway. Miami 2026 Boat Show Preview

The 2026 Miami International Boat Show is to be held between Wednesday eleven and Sunday fifteen February.  Considered as one of the largest boat and yacht show in the world, the Miami boat show offers everything water related, from kayaks to superyachts to the latest aquatic innovations. The on-land portion of the event will take place at the newly reimagined Miami Beach Convention Centre and Pride Park. The in-water components of the show will take place at Venetian Marina, Herald Plaza, Museum Park Marina, and Yacht Haven Grande Miami. The Miami boat show is the longest ongoing boat show in the World, an exhibition which has survived a World War, several recessions, and the luxury tax on boating of the nineties.  The show debuted in 1941 with the Biscayne Boat Show name as organized by the Miami Junior Chamber of Commerce and Marine Industries Association.  The 1947 edition saw the show move to the Municipal Auditorium at Bayfront Park. In 1950 the show had 92 exhibitors, with these becoming 143 by 1951, while 1953 saw the show reach a record breaking 50,000 of attendants.  The 26th edition of 1967 set the still unbeaten attendants record of 171,495 even though the show was asked to move its date to January so as not to collide with the New York boat show.  In 1968 the show gets named the Miami International Boat Show, returns to it's February calendar dates and debuts at the Miami Beach Convention Centre venue, which it will keep up till 2015. In 2016 the Miami Boat Show returned to where it started in Biscayne Bay.  During the seventies, eighties, and nineties the show expanded its size many times till we arrive to the six locations of today.

Dusseldorf 2026 Boat Show Preview

Its that important time of January when the Dusseldorf's boat show, what is the largest fully enclosed and internal featured exhibition sets the stage.  The 2026 edition of the Boot starts on Saturday seventeen and will end on Sunday 25 January what is nine days of boating paradise for an international community.  Debuting new models to be presented in Dusseldorf 2026 are the following; Aiata Sunfinder 38 and Sunfinder 50, Astondoa 577 Coupe, Axopar 38 XC Cross Cabin, Beneteau Gran Turismo 50, BlueGame BGX83, Elling E4, Ferretti 720, Greenline 42, Marco Polo MP10 and MP12, Mulder Favorite 2000, Nimbus C12 and T12 and W12, SantaSevera 42, Say Carbon 42 Sport, Saxdor 460 GTC, Solaris Power 70 Long Range, and Sunseeker Manhattan 56.

The Boot which is the short name the Dusseldorf boat show made it's signature over the years debuted in November 1969 in Fisherstrabe, Dusseldorf.  An idea of Kurt Schoop the first Boot edition was called NOWEA acronym for Nordwestdeutsche Ausstellungsgesellschaft which translates to North-West-German Exhibiting Company had 34,000 visitors, with 116 exhibitors from seven nations showing boats and yachts and related products.  For it's second edition the following year, the Boot name starts to be used with exhibitors expanding to 183 from 25 nations.  In 1972 the Boot moved to its current location to the North of Dusseldorf and in close proximity to the airport, in an area with 50,000 square metres of space and also changed to its current January dates. This move will put the Boot in the World Boat show map and in the following year sets a new record of 307 exhibitors from 41 countries which will welcome a total of 85,751 visitors.  The visitors record will keep going up with 207,000 in 1977, and then 247,000 in 2016 its current record.  Another area of expansion has been that of the always expanding size of the Boot with the largest ever featured yacht coming in 2006 from the German build Kaiserwerft 40.5 Baron forty meter of length super yacht.  Dusseldorf only cancellation came in the 2021 and 22 Covid pandemic years, with a risk cancellation coming in 2003 and the Rhine floods of that Winter.

Fort Lauderdale 2025 Boat Show Preview

Fort Lauderdale, Florida the Yachting Capital of the World arrives into its 66th International boat show edition in 2025, to be held from October 29 up to November second. Fort Lauderdale is the largest floating water show since a few years and for the 66th is very upbeat, coming from the record success of recent editions which had over 100,000 plus of visitors, over one thousand brands, and 1300 plus of boats and yachts.  As in some years the 2025 edition is divided into seven show locations; the Broward County Convention Centre, Bahia Mar Yachting Centre, Hall Of Fame Marina, Las Olas Marina, 17th Street Yacht Basin, Pier 66 Marina, and Superyacht Village at Pier 66 South which together will cover an area of over three million square foot.  As is with Fort Lauderdale the show offers a wide variety of boats and sea vessels from runabouts, sport fisherman, high performance boats, centre consoles, cabin cruisers, flats boats, skiffs, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, bowriders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, canoes, and superyachts. The Fort Lauderdale Boat show will feature the following World previews; Cheoy Lee 130 Explorer, Cruisers Yachts 50 Fly, Formula 360 Crossover Bowrider, Inace Aventura 106, Palm Beach PB85, Valhalia 55 Sport Yacht, Viking 50 Convertible.

Fort Lauderdale boat show debuted in 1959, the first edition was organized by a group of Florida boat builders and dealers as a free to enter voluntary organized exhibition at the new Lauderdale Marina with only thirteen boats on show. Fort Lauderdale though rapidly expanded in its second year doubling exhibitors and visitors, and in its tenth year anniversary it received over 50,000 visitors with a 53 foot its largest yacht on display.  By 1971 Fort Lauderdale boat show had 115 exhibitors and recorded one million US$ in vessel sales.  In 1974 its makes important changes from moving to Bahia Mar which is till today the current home, and updates its dates from Summer to the mid-Fall which still mark the calendar today.  In the 1990's Fort Lauderdale boat show becomes the USA primary large yacht show and starts adding additional locations, with two hundred yachts above fifty foot in the water by 1996.  In the sixtieth 2019 Fort Lauderdale edition, the boat show will add its latest seventh location with the new Superyacht Village which will feature ten yachts over sixty meters in length.  Fort Lauderdale was one of the few boat shows which was organized even during the 2020 and 21 pandemic years.

Southampton 2025 Boat Show Preview

The Southampton boat show enters its 56th edition, currently British largest, this show is known to showcase the latest novelty coming from Britain.  Nearly fully held in water the 2025 edition of the Southampton boat show features a refreshed layout, with a new entrance at Mayflower Park which takes you to the eight locations; Watersports Zone, Dinghy Zone, Classic and Day Boat Zone, Mayflower Park and Ocean Hall, Showmarina, Shipyard, On the Water Stage, and Beachaven and Watersports Lake.  The 2024 Southampton boat show opens on Friday 19, and goes up to Sunday 28 September; ten days of boating days full of events and interesting stuff.  As is usual to Southampton, the famous trio of British builders will all be present, with World debuts coming from the Hardy 45 European, and Orkney Pilothouse 27.

The Southampton boat show debuted in 1969 with the first edition held from September 29 to October fourth.  Organized by Norman Kemish and Arthur Gale the first edition was a modest affair with about fifty exhibitors, solely contained within Mayflower Park, with the army based on the other side of the river supplying the small pontoon to display the handful of boats showed.  In 1983 the Southampton boat show was sold to the Boat Builders National Federation today known as British Marine, with the sale becoming complete four years later as the Federation took hold of the event organization in 1988.  This switch resulted in the Southampton show expanding space for 254 boats afloat.  2019 was the Southampton boat show record year, with 103,000 visitors attending the event and the showcase of 600 plus of brands.  The Southampton boat show was cancelled in the 2020 Covid-19 year, while the last day of the 1981 event was remembered for gale-force-winds ripping into the event and flattening and ship wrecking everything on site.

Genoa 2025 Boat Show Preview

Genoa opens its door for its 65th edition on Thursday 18 and closing on Tuesday 23 September.  Genoa is the largest boat show in the Mediterranean and Europe, with the 2025 edition offering over a thousand boats on display, 23 new shipyards taking part, and exhibitors flocking to Genoa from a total of 45 countries, the best of the industry will be showcased to the world, including 123 new products and 96 premieres.  The 2024 Genoa boat show had 120,864 visitors, an increase of 2.19% to the 2023 edition making it the most attended water boat show, and second in the World.  Along with most of the novelties from Cannes arriving a week later to Genoa, the 2025 boat show will feature the following World firsts; Manda Yachts S05.3, Mimi Libeccio 9.50 Walkaround and Libeccio 13.5 Cabin, and Rio Parana 40.

The Genoa boat show debuted in 1962, the first edition held in 27 January had over 300,000 visitors and featured a total of 430 exhibitors from eighteen countries; 247 Italian and the rest international. The Fiera had in its second year doubled its exhibiting space, a theme of the show over the years who always upgraded its spaces, and recent big expansions coming with the Marina in 2006 which quadrupled water spaces, and the new Pavilion B designed by Jean Nouvel in 2009. In 1964 Genoa boat show became a member of IFBSO, with UCINA the Italian association of boat builders managing the show from 1966. This UCINA move marked the end of the Milan show which debuted in 1960 and had its last fifth edition in 1965. The Genoa boat show had a double edition in 1972; 29 January to seven February and one to ten December, while the 1973 edition was when it moved to its today known fall of the year October dates, with the show reduced to a smaller five day format in 2014 added by a day a couple years later. The Genoa boat show was one of the few shows which managed to do its editions during the 2020 and 2021 Covid-19 pandemic years.

Cannes 2025 Boat Show Preview

Europe's fall boat shows start with the most important to the World, Europe and the Mediterranean sea exhibition, the Festival de la Plaisance of Cannes.  The 2025 Cannes boat show addition starts on Tuesday nine and ends Sunday fourteen September. Cannes is a unique venue located in one of the yachting meccas of the world, the Cote d'Azur offering the opportunity to preview new models by many respected European builders with yacht owners and buyers from countries around the world gathering in this show to see the latest models in the Mediterranean play ground of the "Old" Port and the large yacht area in Port Pierre Canto, for this reason the boat is referred to as the Yachting Festival, because it does represent a Festival of Boating. The 2025 Cannes boat show celebrates its 47th edition continuing a trend for a favourite place where glamour and luxury meet.  Last year numbers showed 55000 visitors, 705 boats in water, and 640 exhibitors from all round the globe. The Cannes boat show debuted in 1977, with the event starting as a rather intimate local exhibition, becoming more successful over the years, and since the noughties is one of the most important boat shows in the World.  From the nineties, Cannes started to grow, with some of the Italian yacht builders helping in shaping the event as they started to preview World first of some models at the show.  An important show in this respect was the seventeenth 1994 edition which was a turn around event, as Cannes expanded its spaces.  In the noughties the show also added Port Canto to its Vieux Port exhibition spaces.  Port Canto debuted first as an area for super yachts and then in 2018 it became the sailing yachts area.  The Cannes Boat Show was cancelled in the 2020 and 2021 COVID years.

Venice 2025 Boat Show Preview

Staring on Thursday 29 May and going up to Monday second June 2025 is the sixth edition of the Venice boat show. Held in Venice, in the historic Arsenale, the Boat Show has in a few years become one of the main international exhibitions dedicated to boating and yachting, bring in the lagoon the jewels of the sea. Symbol of the centuries-old military rule of the Serenissima Republic, the Arsenale of Venice becomes the ideal stage to welcome the excellence of international boat and yacht building, and in a few years has cemented itself as the second boat show of Italy, thanks also to the presentation and support from some of Italy's important boat and yacht building names. The Venice Boat Show is held in a water basin of 55,000 square meters, with over 1,100 linear meters of piers, and 30,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition spaces and the historic Tese. Moreover, the Boat Show is also an opportunity to talk about environmental sustainability and deepen educational and sports activities that have as protagonist the sea and the lagoon. Great importance is given to the design and innovations, to the electric, hybrid and hydrogen propulsions, and to the traditional shipbuilding of the lagoon, pride of the amphibious city. The 2026 Venice Boat Show is also characterized by: meetings, presentations and thematic congresses; E-Village dedicated to electric boats participating in the E-Regatta; exhibitions, art installations, guided tours and educational activities for children; water trials, trophies and sports regattas; design and craft stands, technology, nautical furniture; refreshment points with Venetian specialties, bars and merchandising points. Dubai 2025 Boat Show Preview

The 2025 Dubai boat show is scheduled from the nineteen to 23 February. The 2025 edition of the Dubai boat show will feature over one thousand brands, and two hundred plus of boats at the show, with some of the most exciting brands, products and world-premiers all split in six different areas; Super Yacht Avenue, Equipment and Supplies, Watersports, Marina Displays, Dive Mena and Dive Pool, and Supercar Avenue. The 2025 Dubai boat show will feature superyachts, small fishing boats, latest dive equipment, and all possible marine equipment.  World debuts will come from Gulf Craft's Majesty 100 Terrace and a mystery debut of about twenty meters, and the Sunreef Ultima 55.

The Dubai boat show was started in 1992 as a modest event focused on the local United Arab Emirates maritime industry. With Dubai becoming the cosmopolitan city of the Middle East, the boat show eventually grew in size and popularity, with this growth further fueled with the growing of yachting in the gulf area, in the early noughties, a popularity which reached full circle by the end of the first decade of the new millennium.  Today the Dubai boat show gets over thirty thousand visitors in a five day event, reaching both these numbers in its last 2022 and 2023 editions.  The Dubai boat show was cancelled for both the 2020 and 2021 Covid-19 pandemic years.

Sydney 2024 Boat Show Preview

The 2024 55th edition of Sydney International Boat Show opens Thursday August first and goes on to Sunday fourth August.  Sponsored by Australia's Boating Industry Association the Sydney boat show is located in Darling Harbour, with the International Convention Centre hosting the undercover display, and Cockle Bay showing the larger boats and yachts at the marina. The 2023 Sydney boat show attracted some 47,000 visitors.  An interesting story is that like last year that the main Australian yacht builders, Riviera and Maritimo are not participating. Still the Sydney boat show management is advising over two hundred boats and yachts with the attention of the international brands growing. For example we have the Asian and down under debut of the Pearl 62.

Boat Show - Barcelona 2014 Preview

The 2014 edition of the Barcelona boat show will be held from Wednesday 15 till Sunday 19, at the sea location of Port Veil marina. The show features the most comprehensive and varied range of products and services related to sports and recreational sailing in Spain for enjoying the sea, nautical sports and sailing. While no World first will be present, Barcelona boat show will feature the best of Spain brands; Astondoa, Rodman, and Sasga, and the novelties on some of the major European and World famous builders. Boat Show - Croatia 2012 Preview

In its 14th edition, Croatia Boat Show offers a lot of new stuff and among the rest it will contain three fairs in one: the Croatia Boat Show, Nauticus Show, and Split Auto Show. Boat Show - Istanbul 2010 Preview

Held by NTSR Fair Organizations for the 29th time this year, International Istanbul Shop&Miles Boat Show takes place from 20 to 25 October 2010 at Marinturk İstanbul City Port, Pendik. London 2009 Boat Show Preview

The London International Boat Show starts from the 9th and goes on till the 18th of January. The show returns to ExCeL, celebrating 55 years of bringing boating to the nation's capital. England's second international boat show will show hundreds of fascinating boats on display, from historic replica vessels to the latest in marine technology. With over 500 exhibitors showcasing power and sail boats, dinghies, deck equipment, charter holidays, sailing courses and more. Announced premiere novelties are Sunseeker 30 Metre Yacht and 74 Predator, Princess third version of the V42, Fairline new 70 Squadron, and the latest Beneteau 47 Montecarlo which makes its second presentation here in London after its first showing in December during the Paris boat show.

This 2009 edition was the last one PowerYacht previewed, as the show became more of a National thing with Southampton boat show becoming the major International British boat show in the noughties as the size of the major British boat and yacht builders expanded beyond eighty foot in that decade, becoming a problem to display inside.

The London Boat Show was held from 1955 to 2018, in three different location over the years; Olympia, Earls Court from 1959 to 2003, and from 2004 at Excel. The London boat show expanded quickly in its second edition doubling in size and a 39 foot as the biggest yacht on show.  In 1959 the show moves about one mile to South East at Earls Court, a move which will prove to be a lucky one for 45 years.  For nearly half a century Earls Court was the home of the British production builders, bringing so much success to the show and themselves from the eighties onward.  As British boat builders build bigger yachts at the beginning of the noughties and started asking for bigger spaces.  Enters the third move for the London boat show in 2004 moving ten miles to the east and by the Royal Victoria Dock to accommodate large eighty foot plus super yachts.  The London Boat Show will mark its last edition in 2018, with the show starting a downhill spiral from the 2009 Great Recession which it never recovered from.

Boat Show - Naples 2008 Preview

The 39th edition of the Nauticsud in Naples, Italy comes at the end of the Winter season and on the heels of the much waited Spring time. In the last five years, since Lino Ferrara took the leadership of the show, Nauticsud has concentrated its energy to renovate and increase the berthing space in Naples and all Campania region, to make and give this scenery the deserved prime position in the yachting services on offer. This years edition continues to deal with the berthing problems but also promotes the awareness regarding lack of qualified crew in the Mediterranean and the theme of an efficient after sales service. The trend shown in the Nautical sector in Italy, but also globally continues the double digit growth and the Naples show follows this trend with an expected 9% increase in visitors, estimated at around 150,000. Of the same value 9% is the increase in exhibitors, with the water display giving 10% more space featuring the renowned Italian and international builders, displaying the latest novelties from small tenders, runabouts up to big 100 feet plus superyachts. World first preview at the show is the much waited new Rizzardi 55 Incredible, having had the privilege to view this build in its construction process, this will be one of the top runners in the 17 metre open hard top category in the next seasons to come. The Nauticsud show starts Saturday 8 March and finishes on Sunday 16 March, nine days for the passionate boaters to visit an interesting show with a global display of boats and yachts.
