New Model: Sacs Strider 13

For 2024 Sacs have presented the new Strider 13 model.  Designed by Christian Grande the new second generation Strider 13 is a revolution of details to one of Sacs most popular models.  New cockpit layout with central corridor, super structure and central console redesign with big side windows, raised foredeck for more accommodation, and a re-engineered hull shape.  With these design changes the new Strider 13 is now actually longer, and just short of a foot wider, and thanks to this now offers more spaces both outside and inside.  With the space inside now being more spacious as the new Strider 13 now offers an accommodation for four in two plus layout, forward double berth, and two other berths at midships, plus an L-shaped sofa, and shower head to starboard.  The Sacs Strider 13 is powered by twin Volvo 440hp diesel engines with stern drive propulsion in the Inboard version, or triple Mercury 500hp for the Outboard.

New Model: Scanner Envy 1200 HT

Scanner continue to upgrade its Envy range with always new proposals, and presents this new Envy 1200 HT which debuted first in its outboard version and is now presented with inboard, twin Volvo 430hp gas engines which push it to a top speed up to 46 knots.  A smaller sister to the Envy 1400 which debuted in 2019, the Scanner Envy 1200 HT is a rib dedicated to the outside spaces, with a large sun-pad aft, dinette with opposite settees, galley wet-bar behind the three settee helm station, and fore deck sun-pad.  Walking around the rib is easy with two side corridors to both port and starboard, with two steps leading you to the raised foredeck.  The Envy 1200 HT cabin space offers an open area with welcoming settee to port side, double berth forward, and a shower head with generous space to starboard which also has an enclosed shower.

Project: Sacs Strider 13

After ten years Sacs presents the new second generation Strider 13, a successor to one its long time best sellers. Designed by Sacs long time standing partner Christian Grande the Strider 13 represents a completely renewed project: offer a wider redesigned hull for better stability, projected and tested to offer the best balance between seakeeping, comfort and performance. The dynamic design with sleek profiles and large spaces below deck ensures that the cruising experience combines speed and relaxation on board. The new Strider 13 conveys solidity and safety through carefully studied geometries and high-quality finishes, making it an excellent choice for the experienced owner seeking innovation and comfort in a high-performance maxi RIB. Its sporty vocation is paired with an unexpectedly comfortable and practical cruising experience, courtesy of the spacious cabin below deck which can sleep four persons in two separate double beds; fore and midships, offering a convertible L-shaped sofa, and a spacious bathroom with separate shower to starboard.  All this integrates perfectly with the outdoor areas, usable from fore to aft facilitating socialization and relaxation. Improve-It = Sacs Rebel 47

For the first appointment of 2023 at the Dusseldorf boat Sacs presents an improved version for its Rebel 47 model launched in the fall of 2016. Redesigned by Christian Grande, the Rebel 47 is the natural evolution of the iconic model which met with an exceptional market response has sold more than sixty units delivered in the last five years. This new version is a luxury cruiser with a modern design and specially tapered foam profile that renders the external layout sinuous and elegant. The hard top in carbon fibre is fully remodelled to lighten the entire structure and further lower the centre of gravity to increase stability. Among the innovations of the Rebel 47 is the new windshield with large, rounded shapes to guarantee maximum visibility from the helm station, a reduced beam to fall within the 4-metre width, which offers a considerable advantage when docking in port, and a new range of metallic paints.

New Model: Novamarine Black Shiver 140 Ego

Novamarine present the new Black Shiver 140 Ego, of what it calls its new Egocentric Range, an evolution of the previous BS 140 which is longer and wider.  At fourteen meters in length the Black Shiver 140 Ego is a rib first, with its triple seat central console, and walk around layout offering fourteen meters of exterior space from bow to stern.  A great feature of all the Black Shiver's with the exception of the 220 flagship model is the U-shaped settee forward which can transform to a sun-pad. The Black Shiver 140 Ego cabin has a side starboard entrance with a dinette which transforms to a double berth, and a separate shower head.  Power comes from twin Volvo 440hp diesels on stern drives which give a top speed up to 36 knots.  Need more speed? Novamarine also offers 140 Ego with outboards and triple Mercury 450hp which reaches 47 knots top speed and is also shorter by thirty centimeters.

New Model: Anvera 42

In a few years Anvera has became one of the premium producers for ribs cruisers and yachts from twelve to sixteen meters in length.  Appearing in the market in 2016 with the 55, in 2021 Anvera presents its new third and entry level model the 42.  Designed as the larger sisters by Aldo Drudi, the 42 continues the philosophy for a semi-custom to order build all made of carbon fibre rib cruiser.  Like in the bigger Anvera's the 42 is based on a center console design philosophy with opening terraces which extends aft deck space to thirteen square meters.  Below the Anvera 42 offers a double berth with shower head to port side.  The Anvera 42 is standard powered by twin Mercury Cummins 270hp with optional 370hp engines.  The large Mercury Cummins 370hp engine choice reaches speeds up to 45 knots and a cruise of 38.

Project: Tecnorib Pirelli 35

The Swedish studio Mannerfelt Design Team, specialist competition hull designers, partnered with TecnoRib, the Pirelli brand licensee for inflatable boats, to create the new 35. Born out of the success of the Pirelli 42, the new model has more compact dimensions but features the same characteristics, namely, those of a sporty walkaround with rugged, streamlined lines, and the same totally modern and immediately captivating look.  Following the initial presentation of the scale model during the Genoa Boat Show 2020, the project is currently undergoing prototype sea trials which start at the end of November. The Tecnorib Pirelli 35 offers ample space around the perimeter walkway creating a very comfortable walkaround shape for a craft of this size, while the layout assures the outdoor environment can be enjoyed to the full, thanks to the large sundecks at both the bow and stern, where a convenient table also makes it possible to enjoy open-air dining.  The Pirelli 35 heralds the start of a new journey that embodies and further enhances the DNA of this iconic and distinctive brand. The craft affirms the desire to enhance the level of elegance of this product category.  The Tecnorib Pirelli 35 can be powered from 600 to a maximum of 700 horsepower in the petrol version, and from a minimum of 600 to a maximum of 640 in the diesel version. The first prototype model is equipped with 2x300hp sterndrive petrol engines.

New Model: Magazzu MX-13 Gran Coupe

Magazzu present the new MX-13 Gran Coupe, a further evolution of the 13 Coupe which launched in 2007.  The MX-13 Gran Coupe is a novelty and at the same time a restyling of the 13 Coupe which lasted thirteen years in production.  The new MX-13 Gran Coupe improves cabin space to the previous version thanks to an extended re-designed deck house which is longer and also a bit higher.  The Magazzu MX-13 Gran Coupe hull one is powered by twin Mercruiser 430hp gas petrol engines with stern drive propulsion which give top speed up to fifty knots.  Further engines up to twin 600hp are possible with estimates of top speeds up to 55 knots.  The first unit of the Magazzu MX-13 Gran Coupe was commissioned by popular Italian celebrity Jerry Cala who is a fan of the brand.

New Model: Tecnorib Pirelli 42

The German Dusseldorf boat show of 2020 proved to be the location for the world debut of the latest model from TecnoRib, the Pirelli 42. A walk around rib cruiser with aggressive styling and captivating details, the Mannerfelt designed Tecnorib Pirelli 42 is the latest model from the Milan-based shipyard, and had already won over many owners before the boat show and attracted acclaim and great curiosity at the official presentation. The new model is just over thirteen meters long, and can be fitted with inborard or outboard engines, diesel and petrol with a range of power ratings, up to a maximum speed of about 45 knots to meet the needs of a broad range of owners, including those looking for high speed performance.  Pirelli 42 is the first model in a new range targeted at owners in search of the perfect balance between elegance and adrenaline, and Tecnorib has already started work on a larger version too.

Project: Tecnorib Pirelli 42

The 2020 Düsseldorf Boat Show will provide the setting for the world debut of the new Tecnorib Pirelli 42, which was presented as a scale model a few months ago against the exclusive backdrop offered by Portofino. A  thirteen meter walkaround rib cruiser designed in partnership with celebrated Swedish firm Mannerfelt Design Team, the Pirelli 42 is a versatile craft created for use as both an everyday chase boat or a mid-range cruiser.  Featuring forward and aft sunpads, a day area with an outdoor table, and an under deck with transforming dinette and bathroom, this rib cruiser combines performance, comfort and design. With this new model featuring aggressive lines and fine detailing, TecnoRib signs up not only for a boating season that promises to be packed with success, but also for a range renewal underscored by big spaces and a special focus on design.  The Tecnorib Pirelli 42 will be offered with seven engine choices, four petrol gas starting from twin Mercruiser 350hp to Volvo or Mercruiser 430hp, and diesel units starting from twin 320hp up to 400hp.  Propulsion in all engines choices will be stern drive.

New Model: Scanner Envy 1400

Scanner presents the new Envy 1400, flagship for its Touring Line of cruiser ribs.  The Scanner Envy 1400 is a rib cruiser offering interesting day cruiser accommodation with a usable deck space from bow to stern.  The interior accommodation offers an open plan cabin accommodation layout with double berth forward, a relaxing lounger to port side, a unit to starboard, a shower head to starboard upon entry into the cabin, and another double berth at midships.  The Scanner Envy 1400 is available in both inboard or triple outboard configuration.

Project: Anvera 42

Anvera is a rib cruiser and yacht builder which has gained a lot of attention on its first two models, first the 55 and then the 48.  Now Anvera presents the project for a third entry level 42 rib cruiser project.  We do not have a lot of details about this new Anvera, so far we know that the 42 is designed as the larger sisters by Aldo Drudi, and follows a light weight construction mostly made of carbon fiber, which allows high speeds with minimum horsepower.  This one is a recurring Anvera theme, which makes for incredible nautical mile per liter numbers, and an amazing ride its priority.

New Model: Anvera 48

Anvera is a company founded in 2015 by Luca Ferrari, Giancarlo Galeone, and Gilberto Galassi and enters the maxi rib yacht in 2016 with the 55 model.  Fast forward to 2018 and Anvera present its second 48 model.  The Anvera 48 model is a high end rib cruiser with a two cabin interior, available in two propulsion set ups; standard stern drive power, and an S surface drive version.  The stern drive version is powered by twin 370hp engines, while the S surface drives has twin 550hp engines.  The Anvera 48 since its launch in 2018 has had an incredible success with ten units being reported sold in its first boat show appearance.

Project: Tornado T-Rib 48

Tornado who build a fame onward from the seventies in building performance orientated sport cruisers with deep-V hull ventures into new territory with this T-Rib 48 project, set to launch in the fall of this year.  The T-Rib 48 enters Tornado in the performance rib cruiser sector, a very competitive segment especially in Italy.  This is not the first time Tornado goes out of its comfortable performance cruiser zone reminding readers here that the Rome Fiumicino boat builder did also build a fifty sportfish yacht designed by Tom Fexas back in the late nineties. The T-Rib 48 will feature a large open plan single cabin interior layout, while the exterior will feature a never ending bow to stern usable deck in three distinctive split level layouts.  The Tornado T-Rib 48 power will feature three power and propulsion options from twin 450hp diesel engines with surface drives, twin 350hp with stern drives and twin or triple 300hp in outboard version.

New Model: Solemar 35 Open

The Solemar 35 Open is the no hard top version of the Steel presented some weeks ago on PowerYachtBlog.   The Solemar 35 is for customers who like technical characteristics of the rib but also want the comfort and luxury of a cruiser.  This Solemar 35 Open is a product beyond expectation thanks to a compact profile, comfortable passage to reach the bow and the bright interior.  Inside there is a double stateroom forward, a second cabin with two beds aft and a dining area with leather sofa and television. The exterior deck has a comfortable and practical layout, designed to enhance the convivial spirit. The stern features a comfortable sofa, kitchen area and a large dining area with table that converts into a large sundeck. Under the seats you have storage areas for all the equipment on board. While the bow area accommodates a large and comfortable sundeck.  The helm station of the Solemar 35 is characterized by a wide console featured with an innovative design and a comfortable driving seat cushion, practical to drive from standing or sitting.  The new Solemar 35 Open is powered  by twin Volvo 300hp enabling it to reaching top speeds up to 38 knots and a cruise of 30.

New Model: Solemar 35 Steel

Solemar continues to present rib cruisers with generous accommodation and the safety of the rib.  This new Solemar 35 Steel is the next chapter in what the rib calls the Oceanic line of cabin ribs which starts from 26 and go up to 44 feet.  This new Solemar 35 Steel distinguishes itself for a manual operated opening hardtop suited for hot climates thanks also to the not closed sides.  The main deck plan of the 33 Steel offers an L-shaped dinette, lounger to port side and helm station with wet bar behind it to starboard.  The interior accommodation two double, a shower head, and a convertible dinette.  Power for the Solemar 35 Steel is from twin Volvo 300hp diesel with stern drive propulsion which give a top speed of 38 knots.

New Model: Sacs 47 Rebel

Sacs and designer Christian Grande challenge again the larger side of the rib market with the new intriguing and good looking 47 Rebel.  This new Sacs is an interesting mix of performance cruiser and rib functionalities, with innovation also playing the important role with the 47 Rebel having a a different type of D-tubes made of a mouldable rigid Neoprene Hypalon material.  This different type of construction allows the Sacs 47 Rebel to have the rib functionality while at the same time loosing less space inside, allowing for better accommodation.  The 47 Rebel also surprises for the choices available from three type propulsion; outboard, stern drives, or big Cummins diesels with surface drives, and two deck layout options; Mediterranean and the Protected hard top version.

New Model: Magazzu MX-14 Coupe

Magazzu launches the first of its MX-14 model series, the Coupe.  This will soon be joined by the Classic version which features a smaller cockpit and longer fore deck, and more spacious interior.  Nonetheless the MX-14 Coupe has also a not so bad cabin layout inside, considering the massive full space outside you get from fore to stern, including two large L-shaped dinettes in mid cockpit.  The cabin offers sleeping accommodation for four persons in a double master cabin to fore, and a convertible L-shaped saloon.  A shower head serves guest to port side.  A galley is located outside behind the centre console helm.  Power is always a variation of what the customer needs on all the Magazzu's with max engine power available up to twin engines totalling 960hp, and stern drive propulsion.  Hull one featured the large Volvo diesel stern drives choice of twin 400hp units.

New Model: Albatro 45

Albatro presents a new model in the Rib series the 45.  This new model continues the expansion of the Rib range from Albatro which features nine models which go up in size up to seventy feet.  The 45 is an interesting rib cruiser which as other Lake Como builders follows the high performance heritage of Albatro, a winner in some important endurance championships.  Albatro in-house design team in this 45 followed the family feeling shape coming from the 50 model.  Performance boat but also a comfortable outside thanks to a huge central sun pad aft, and a dinette with opposite facing seats and a central table which from the floor.  Inside is a cabin with a galley shower head, double Vee berth to fore, and two sofas which can sleep four persons.  Engines are twin FPT 560hp units with surface drives propulsion, but choices start from twin 320hp units.

Project: Magazzu MX-14 Classic

Magazzu the rib Sicily builder presents the MX-14 Classic.  With this new project Magazzu also present the Classic line; which in my understanding takes this title for its fore flush deck, and windshield which give that retro touch to this rib cruiser.  Inside the MX-14 Classic will feature an interior with a separate owners cabin to fore, L-shaped settee for four persons which convets to a double berth, galley, and a shower head.  Outside the MX-14 Classic welcomes guest with two sun pads, a bench settee, and a center console covered by a hardtop in a T form.  Power is from twin engines up to a total power of 960hp.  The twin step hull can reach top speeds up to 45 knots with max power units installed.
