Sanlorenzo Yacht Fire Scare in Porto Heli, Greece

A 30 meter Sanlorenzo yacht with Greek flag had an onboard fire scare as it was anchored in the Chinitsa area of  Porto Heli, Ermionida, to the South East of Greece at 12:30 of Thursday twelve June.  The yacht which was carrying nine passenger and five crew at the time of the blaze, was assisted by the Greek Coast Guard and the Kranidi Fire Department.  The guests and two of the crew were evacuated during fire fighting operations, with three of the crew remaining onboard to help in extinguishing the blaze.  The fire was ultimately controlled, with the cause of the blaze not being reported, though the reel in Boating in Greece show it coming from the stern of the yacht.
Some Greek websites as Boatfishing and Voicenews.Gr showed an AI created image with a total different yacht, a mid-late nineties build Ferretti 70 going ablaze which was fake.
The yacht in this fire is a Sanlorenzo 100 as designed by Della Role and produced from 1995 to 2008 in twenty units.  When it debuted in 1995 the 100 was Sanlorenzo flagship yacht superseded by the 108 in 2004, with the model replaced by SL104 in 2009.
