It has been anything but quiet at Delta Marine, the Seattle-based shipyard where exclusivity and confidentiality are pillars of the signature custom yacht building experience, and the buzz of innovation and creativity abounds. As such, Delta is delighted to announce that it recently launched a new 110 super yacht, which is currently finalizing its construction phases. Developed in response to changing market dynamics, particularly in the 33 to forty meters range, the new Delta Marina 110 features a new hull platform designed for long-range efficiency and the capability for speed. Once inside, owners and guests will be transported into a world sophisticated and soothing. Transcendent colours of sand and sea will cast a captivating spa-like spell rich with comfort and texture. An elegant play of ivories and Mediterranean blue fabrics will surround rich warm oak woodwork that extends seamlessly throughout her interiors, featuring espresso wenge accents and sleek minimalist metalwork. She’ll deliver timeless comfort with the perfect complement of understated luxury. Within a seven meters beam, the Delta Marine 110 arrangement is optimized for owner operation and family adventures. The spacious interior features a main salon with U- shaped seating aft of the dining salon accommodating up to ten guests. A large galley forward can be enclosed and separated from the guest spaces and will offer a country kitchen dinette for intimate and casual gatherings, as well as a center island with bar seating. Eight guests are accommodated in four lower-deck ensuite cabins that comprise a full-beam master stateroom, mirrored convertible twin cabins, and a VIP suite in the bow. Crew accommodations for two are located aft. Walkaround side decks with control stations further lend to the ease of operation, which the owners will enjoy from the pilothouse with its twin helm seating and convertible dinette/ berth. The spacious aft deck offers prime vistas to enjoy the scenery with dining for ten, while additional seating and a full bar are situated on the bridge deck aft in a semi-enclosed space that can be thoughtfully shaded with retractable sun awnings. Appealing to avid boaters with a love for all waterborne activities, the yacht will feature a convenient beach garage for toy and gear storage as well as an articulating swim platform equipped with a Hydromar transformer sea stairs unit. The owners specified a custom aluminium tender to be stowed on the boat deck and launched by a special davit. Another brilliant feature is the yacht’s anchoring system, for which Delta partnered with the anchor manufacturer to design a hidden flush-mounted anchor in the stem of the vessel. The new double chine semi-displacement hull form is a significant build in that it is the first new hull design for Delta solely tested through Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis. It is also Delta’s first project that will meet full IMO III and EPA Tier 4 recognition, which facilitated the installation of the newest approved gas exhaust systems on the main engines. While the new hull form is designed for modest efficient cruising speeds of 12 to 14 knots —affording a longer range—the yacht is also capable of cruising much faster when necessary. The hull shape, coupled with twin MTU 2600hp each, allows the yacht to achieve an impressive top-end speed of 27 knots.
