Intrepid presents its completely new 35 Panacea, which debuted at the 2026 Miami boat show. The 35 Panacea signals a complete new design direction for Intrepid, a revolution rather then an evolution for the Florida based builder who looks at others, in particular the Boston Whaler Realm and Tiara LS models. For over forty years and from its 30 Console Cuddy debut model Intrepid was different and among the first in doing cabin-center-consoles hybrid boats and becoming the easy choice for those who wanted accommodation, performance, and sport-fishing features in one boat. Now that everything is a hybrid, even center consoles are coming with cabin spaces and more entertaining features today than what they used yesteryears, Intrepid is not the outcast anymore, founding itself in a need to compete. The 35 Panacea does nothing wrong, with its caveat being that it does not look like an Intrepid at all, for example why they did not keep the beautiful stern of the Florida based builder, rather then this new basic sloop stern look. The problem with the 35 Panacea is this, that you could put any sticker to it, and it would be a great boat, with the Intrepid badge it is a matter for the brand aficionados to cast the votes.
