Viking Sportfish Ends Beached in Clinton, Connecticut

A ten meter Viking sportfish cruiser titled Need A Lift 7 with two persons onboard ended beached on a sand bar in Clinton, Connecticut, on the early afternoon of Saturday fifteen June.  The causes of the grounding are a low tide, and also because the boat navigated outside channel markers.  As up to Saturday evening it was reported that the Viking sportfish was waiting for high tide in order to free herself from the beaching without any assistance.
The boat in this accident is a Viking 35 Convertible as produced from 1984 to 92.  The 35 Convertible was a replacement to the 35 Flybridge Sport Fisher and was replaced by the Viking 38 Convertible.
