A classic nineteen meter Cantieri di Pisa ended aground and partially sunk listing to its starboard side at Keri Island to the South of Aigina Island on the morning of Friday third July. As the photo above shows the yacht was protected by a pollution protection boon. The cause of the incident and how many passengers were onboard are not clear, with a post on the Boating in Greece Facebook page reported the yacht had fourteen persons during the accident.
The yacht in this accident is a Cantieri di Pisa Akhir 19 as designed by Spadolini and produced from 1979 to 1983. The Akhir 19 was a replacement to the Pegaso 20m and was replaced by the Cantieri di Pisa Akhir 20.
