A twenty meter Fleming yacht ended aground near Palm City, Florida, for a story shared on Captain Retriever Facebook page on Thursday 25 September. Captain Retriever from TowBoatU.S shared a video on putting the yacht back in deep water, as he was also helped by the yachts own power. Possible with this type of yacht who usually have a protective keel. The yacht eventually left on its power which indicated it rested on the keel, and sustained little to no damage.
The yacht in this ground is a Fleming 65 Mk.I as produced from 2005 to 2009. The 65 Mk.I was replaced by the Fleming 65 Mk.II, same platform but with a changed layout and details.
