Nautica Fundoni was founded in 1969 by Tonino Fundoni. In the beginning of his career Tonino had the intuition to transform the classic Gozzo fishing boat with a planning hull. The planning Gozzo's becomes a success with private boaters, and as a taxi tourist boat in the Emerald Coast. Apart the mt 7,40 Gozzo Planante, Fundoni also produced the Topmarine ribs, with the production of these ceased following the fire of November 2014.
