New Model: Omikron Yachts OT-60

Olympic Marine a renowned Greek ship-yacht repair yard presents its Omikron Yachts brand, debuting its first OT-60 production model. Designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian for hull shape, Lorenzo Argento exterior and interior, Ciarmoli Queda interior style the Omikron OT-60 proposes a vision of sustainability by combining the quiet, easy-going lifestyle and efficiency of sailing with the convenience and space of a motor yacht, renewing the slow explorer yachting and traditional Eastern Mediterranean seagoing style.  With efficient engines and a custom efficient hull design by Juan Kouyoumdjian the OT-60 is optimized for cruising at ten to tewelve knots, while eight knots will give a 1000 nautical miles range, consuming just 1.5 litres per nautical mile. Both the propulsion and hull shape are optimized for minimum disturbance, for a silent, stable and serene cruising experience which becomes a time to relax and recharge, as on a sailboat. The exterior design and the interior layout are the work of Lorenzo Argento, interior styling is curated by Ciarmoli Queda Studio. The Owner’s Version, offers three-cabins layout, with the Owner’s suite that stretches across the wide beam to permit lounging and storage on both sides of the large bed, as well as a desk area. A private bathroom and closet space are included in the suite, which has impressive head room. The Charter Version has a four-cabin layout that offers in the bow two doubles with beds for couples, each with its own en-suite head, moving the owner amidships.  A crew cabin for one or two persons is available as optional.  The Omikron OT-60 has started with a good start with the fifth currently under construction.
