Caribbean Boats presents its new web site. Caribbean boats was founded in 1958 by Arch Spooner, first under International Plastics and then renamed as International Marine. Arch Spooner is known as a pioneer in Australian boat building, and the first to introduce fiberglass boat building down under. In the sixties International Marine will start building Bertram boats under licence. In the eighties the Bertram licence agreement is ended, with the new line of boats named Caribbean. In March 2025 Caribbean boats was purchased by Maritimo led by other down-under boat building legend Bill Barry-Cotter. Caribbean Boats currently offers two models; the 27F Flybridge and 40F Flybridge which both debuted this 2026 year.
