Project: Sunseeker 76 Yacht

Sunseeker present the project for a new 76 Yacht, a model which replaces the 75 and takes design cues from the successful 66 Manhattan as launched in early 2018.  The 76 Yacht seems to have been incredibly received by dealers and clients with eighteen units pre-sold on plan.  The 76 Yacht certainly hits the sweet spot in terms of size, space and a larger yacht feel whilst being extremely manageable for those looking to self-crew. Clever design maximizes social and entertaining spaces, whilst the innovative use of glass enhances natural light, making this a bright and airy boat in which to relax and unwind with family and friends.  The optional retractable glass skylight over the lower helm, creates an almost open boat feel to the helm and the adjacent companion seating area to port which is the ideal spot for guests to enjoy the view whilst underway. Natural light also flows into the main deck through extended window lines and unique full-height glazing on the port side.  The 76 Yacht exterior decks provide unprecedented levels of space and flexibility that can be can be adapted to suit any needs, whether relaxing, entertaining or both. Space is on the new 76 Yacht is about 25% more than the highly popular 75 predecessor it is going to replace. The cockpit for example can be adapted to provide additional lounge seating or a cocktail bar for afternoon drinks and the option of a ‘beach club’ complete with BBQ grill, fold-out seating and full height rain shower makes full use of the extensive bathing platform which is large enough to carry a four meter plus rib. The vast flybridge is another exceptional feature of the 76 Yacht, and the impressive layout can be further enhanced by the addition of an optional spa-tub and cocktail bar to further complement that larger yacht feel.  The light and space continues below deck, where there are four cabins and four bathrooms, including an impressive full beam master suite with ensuite and dressing area. The spacious crew cabin can accommodate up to three people in an open-plan layout or can be specified with an enclosed double berth cabin.  The Sunseeker 76 Yacht is powered by engines up to twin 1550hp engines, which should deliver a cruise of 25 knots and a range at this speed of about four hundred nautical miles.

New Model: Sunseeker 57 Predator Mk.II

Sunseeker present the new Predator 57 Mk.II, an evolution of the incredibly popular Predator 57 which has been a top seller in its sport yacht segment size since its introduction in January 2015, echoing all its stand out features with even more elegance and style.  Sporty and sleek, the Sunseeker Predator 57 MK II is crafted to perfectly balance style with practicality. Epitomizing the latest Sunseeker design cues, the refreshed exterior boasts sleek, yet oversize pillar less windows down to the side deck which floods the interior with light and provides uninterrupted views from the saloon.  The transom area now features an optional mini beach club, an option first introduced with the Manhattan 52 in 2016 and now a Sunseeker signature feature. This area offers an inviting space for family and friends to enjoy the built-in barbecue, overhead shower and fold-down transom seating. The patio door, which separates the saloon from the cockpit, lowers at the flick of a switch to create one incredible entertaining space, allowing the craft to adapt for different climates, which is further enhanced by a fully opening hardtop roof over the saloon.  The Predator 57 certainly doesn’t sacrifice performance for style. With speeds of up to 40 knots depending on the engine and drive option choice, it cuts an impressive figure on the open water with good sea keeping and unmatched agility. Featuring six berths in three cabins, with an additional crew cabin for one, the full beam master cabin is located at midships and features an ensuite, lounge seating and vanity space.

New Model: Sunseeker 66 Manhattan

Doing its World launch at the January 2017 London boat show this new 66 Manhattan is the next chapter for Sunseeker medium large flybridge line. After seeing success with the 2016 launched 52 Manhattan, Sunseeker does a revamp for its Manhattan flybridge series, which equals more around windows on the upper deck and a general rethinking of spaces. Indeed the 66 Manhattan features one of the best layout for owners looking for a twenty meter motor yacht with a four double cabins layout.  The 66 Manhattan also sees Sunseeker looking at other builders for inspiration, for example the midships full beam owners stateroom features a separate entrance, something Prestige has been doing in the last five years.  Other details are the flybridge fins which remind of an Azimut yacht design profile, used for over a decade.  The 66 Manhattan continues to show Sunseeker versatility in propulsion choices for its customers being available as the replacing 65 with both line shaft and Man 1200hp engine combination, or twin Volvo 900hp and IPS pod drives.

Seeing the success of the 57 Predator, Sunseeker decided to go for a full revamp of its 68 Predator model.  The new Sunseeker 68 Predator was presented during the Southampton boat show as the new Mk.II, and considering it looks completely different to the previous 68 the title is spot on. The Sunseeker 68 Predator also introduces technical details as seen on the 57 as the disappearing patio door on the main deck.  The Sunseeker 68 Predator offers a spacious three double cabins arrangement with an owners stateroom at midships. The main deck is reserved for entertainment, with a galley located below deck in between the cabins.  Power comes from twin Man 1550hp with line shaft propulsion or surface drives option.  This last delivering maximum speeds up to 42 knots.

Project: Sunseeker 66 Manhattan

Following the success of the Manhattan 52 which has so far secured £30 million worth of retail sales since its introduction this autumn 2016, Sunseeker today unveils plans to launch the new Manhattan 66 at the London boat show in January.  This important new model signals Sunseeker’s intentions to maintain its strong position in this critical segment of the market, and underlines its commitment to producing an unrivaled portfolio of luxury performance motor yachts upwards of fifteen to fifty meters.  The Sunseeker 66 Manhattan is designed to maximize entertainment options with exceptional panoramic hull and saloon windows providing light-drenched living spaces throughout. Throughout the main deck there is a strong focus on creating generous, usable sociable spaces. Her exterior lines flow effortlessly from the Portuguese-bridge bow seating and sunbathing areas to the expansive cockpit adjoining the well-equipped aft galley and saloon on the main deck. Optionally, the galley can be specified below creating even more entertaining space in the main saloon. The newly configured flybridge also creates the feeling that you are on board a much larger craft and has been designed with both entertaining and relaxation in mind with extensive seating throughout, large sunbathing areas forward and a well-equipped wet-bar. The sociable layout continues through to the wide bathing platform capable of launching tenders short of four meters, and transom ‘beach club’ where an optional barbecue, fold-away bench seat and overhead rain- shower truly set the Manhattan 66 apart from its peers.   The twin berth crew cabin, with private access through the transom, enjoys a dedicated en suite and ample stowage.  Thanks to the galley being situated on the main deck, there is room enough for four very spacious cabins below including two large twin cabins, a forward VIP suite and standout full-beam master cabin with its own private stairway access from the saloon; a first for Sunseeker in this size range.  The Sunseeker 66 Manhattan is powered by twin Man 1000hp or optional 1200hp engines on shaft drives.  An other optional is for Volvo 900hp coupled to IPS1200 pod drives.  Estimated speeds are 25 knots of cruise and 34 knots at full throttle.

Consult ~ 28-29 meter Raised Pilot House Super Yacht 2016

INTRO
The new 28 to 29 meter Raised Pilot House Super Yacht was created by Sanlorenzo in 2011, when it replaced the long standing good selling SL88 with the SL94.  Just as the 88, the SL94 was also a raised pilot house yacht, but had an important different layout which the previous model did not offer, for a main deck with fore ship owners stateroom.  The SL94 had also the advantage which similar type and size yachts above 28 meter did not have in 2011, and that was a hull size or load line length 23.9 meters or under.  Meaning it can be helmed by owners or captains with a standard yacht master licence.  This gave the SL94 two features unheard in this size; owners room on the main deck which used to be found in yachts a couple meters bigger, and a hull size which legally classifies as a smaller yacht.
PRESENT
The Sanlorenzo SL94 was an important change and other builders reacted to this.  In the fall of 2012 Ferretti presented the project for the 960, a new flagship for the Yachts range launching in the first half of 2013.  Amer came following in 2013 with the semi wide body Cento measuring just above 29 meters.  Always in high attention Azimut followed with the new Grande 95RPH which launched in early 2014.  Seeing all this competition in 2014 Sanlorenzo tweaked its SL94, and developed it into the SL96 with some important modernization details, see large sized cabin windows below, and opening optional balconies on the main deck.  The last to join the pack is the British Sunseeker who in 2015 presented the project for its new raised pilot house 95 Yacht which the Poole based builder launched in the second quarter of 2016.
Upcoming is the Summer 2016 presented project by Canados with the 969 Coliseum, set to launch in 2017.  The Canados will be an interesting challenge to all builders listed here, with Sanlorenzo being the traditional competitor, as both builders are a representation of hand build made in Italy semi-custom yachts since the 1970's.
FUTURE
It is a growing new class with some important super yacht builders creating an interesting choice to buyers looking for a raised pilot house pocket super yacht of 28 to 29 meters overall with a hull or load line length less to 23.9 meters and an owners stateroom on the main deck.  Who is next in this class is all speculative, but expect something to come from Montecarlo Yachts, Princess, and Fipa Maiora.  I would say the next new challenge in this size coming from Montecarlo Yachts who would not surprise me to have something ready for 2017 as the company has an empty spot between its large 105 and 86 models.

New Model: Sunseeker 116 Yacht

Sunseeker seems to have fully embraced the semi wide body two deck and a half design, and now launch the new 116 Yacht, a model which is a further development of the 115 Sport Yacht.  The 116 Yacht is very much different to the 115, with a completely revamped stern area. The 116 Yacht will sit as third largest model in the current Sunseeker line up and continues the road map which the Poole, Uniited Kingdom builder started since the mid nineties when it launched its first at the time super yacht, the 80 Predator.  A long passage considering that the Poole builder in 2015 celebrated the launch of one hundred build super yachts above thirty meters. Like all the big Sunseeker the 116 Yacht is a semi custom on order build, with options available on plan as a Spa pool option on the fore deck or the flybridge,

Project: Sunseeker 68 Predator Mk.II

Sunseeker presents the project for a new Predator 68 Mk.II, or should be Mk.III if we include the 2000s 68?  Anyways Sunseeker is calling the new 68 Predator Mk.II so we go on with that name. The 68 Predator includes a re-styled interior and modified exterior lines looking as much similar as Sunseeker current best selling 57 Predator model on steroids. Yes including in the new 68 Predator Mk.II are the never ending hull side windows which get bigger the more you move aft.  The 68 Predator Mk.II will also feature other details from the 57 as the disappearing lower patio door which turns the cockpit into a fully enclosed deck into one fully open. Below deck the new 68 Predator Mk.II features three spacious en-suite cabins, comprising of a midships master room, starboard twin and forward VIP, all equipped with individually controllable entertainment systems.  Behind the 68 Predator Mk.II transom below the sun pad is a tender garage providing the space to house a tender or jet ski with a hydraulic lifting platform to make launching effortless.  Sunseeker 68 Predator Mk.II is powered by standard Man 1200hp engines giving cruise speed of 24 knots and a range of 300 nautical miles. Alternatively is the Man 1550hp engines option, available with shaft or Arneson surface drives with this last choice giving speeds up to 43 knots.

New Model: Sunseeker 95 Yacht

The just launched 95 Yacht is one of the most awaited models from Sunseeker in recent times, positioning itself as a direct competitor to the Ferretti 960, Azimut Grande 95 RPH, and Sanlorenzo SL96.  What do these yachts have in common to each other?  They are all about 28 meters in length, have a waterline of less then 24 allowing piloting with a standard yacht master licence, and all feature a raised pilot house design which gives an owners cabin on the main deck.  This is in short words the new 28 meter raised pilot house class.  Presented as a project last year the 95 Yacht was launched in mid Spring 2016, and is based on the 28 Meter Yacht hull.  Hull one was sold last July and delivered to its owner in August.

New Model: Sunseeker 52 Manhattan

Sunseeker are going at it full swing in its smaller sizes and this completely new 52 Manhattan is a complete testament of a fresh breed of life in what is today the Poole boat builder entry level flybridge motor yacht.  The new 52 Manhattan brings a first feature for the builder from Poole which has a main deck layout with an astern galley, which joins entertainment with the aft cockpit. It was over ten years in 2004 when Ferretti introduced this in the 630 model, and many others have followed since then to what is a practical solution for the galley in this size.  The 52 Manhattan impresses in a lot of areas, its flybridge being one of the most spacious in this size and features a double dinette solution to aft and port side of the helm, along a forward sun-pad.  Windows everywhere a theme of Sunseeker's latest models is again the chorus of the new 52 Manhattan with the saloon windows impressing for there size.  The 52 Manhattan is powered by twin Volvo 725hp units in pod drives or line shaft propulsion with top speed up to 31 knots.

Project: Sunseeker 52 Manhattan

With good sales currently incoming from the 57 Predator, Sunseeker thought wisely to return its attention on the smaller sizes of its range.  Here comes the project for a new 52 Manhattan as entry level to its flybridge range, which will be available with IPS pod or shaft drive option and a max of 725hp per engine.  The new 52 Manhattan will offer interesting accommodation solutions and feature one of the largest side window profile for a Sunseeker flybridge.  It's flybridge will also be a spacious affair while unlike the 55 we see the use of the astern galley.  The accommodation layout will feature a three double cabin interior, plus an aft crew cabin. Option will also exist for a standard bathing platform, or an extended up down tender lift system which increases length by four feet.

Project: Sunseeker 95 Yacht

Sunseeker has released CGI images of the anticipated new 95 Yacht project currently under production in Dorset, UK. The magnificent performance super yacht is set for launch in Spring 2016, underlining the brand’s commitment to bringing more new products in the year ahead. Its striking lines and innovative layout also showcase the fresh design direction that Sunseeker’s next generation of larger models will take.  The third new model to be announced this summer, the 95 Yacht exemplifies the latest in Sunseeker’s cutting-edge design and innovative build processes. With all the spacious elegance of its highly successful predecessor, the 28 Metre Yacht, it combines a superyacht feel with all the practical advantages of a yacht in this size category. The 95 Yacht’s standout feature is its unique main deck layout with a special master cabin triplex configuration for even greater flexibility and freedom onboard. With the luxurious master stateroom berth on the main deck, a forward staircase leads to a mid level dressing area and sumptuous en-suite.  Four or five cabins layouts are available for the 95 Yacht, with the main difference being for a large VIP cabin at midships and two identical guest cabins, or four identical rooms.  Crew quarters are located aft and will sleep four and also have a small galley and an L-shaped lounging sofa. The raised pilot house is another eye-catching feature, again offering greater flexibility and contributing to the more expansive main deck layout which is truly remarkable for this size of yacht. Above deck the spacious flybridge is well equipped with bar, optional hot tub and plenty of seating for guests to be entertained in style. As with all Sunseeker’s wave of 2016 models, the 95 yacht is based on the classic planning Vee shape hull, enabling it to cruise at 24 knots and reaching maximum speeds of 28 knots, depending on engine option.

Project: Sunseeker 116 Yacht

Sunseeker has released the first exclusive CGI images of the eagerly anticipated new 116 Yacht currently under production in Dorset, UK. The stunning next generation super-yacht is set for launch in Spring 2016. Its elegant lines, open plan layout and stylish interiors showcase the new design direction that Sunseeker’s next generation of 100 feet and over models will take. It also underlines the group’s commitment to bringing more exciting new products to market, and continuing to invest in cutting edge technical and design innovation.  The 116 Yacht shares the proven engineering platform of the hugely popular 115 Sport Yacht, but brings a spectacularly re-imagined new deck and superstructure design. The new images give a tantalizing first glimpse of the rakish looks and unique design layout that make it a super yacht for entertaining in style.  In keeping with that theme, the fore-deck has been developed into a whole entertainment area of its own, with a new ‘Club’ concept and the option of a large hot tub. The fly-bridge itself boasts a huge retractable sunroof and an exceptionally generous seating and dining area, with space for a wet bar, sun-loungers, companion helm seating, and standard hot tub. An electronically operated carbon fiber gull-wing door also provides easy access for crew from the wheelhouse to the exterior side deck.  Inside, the 116 Yacht’s most eye-catching new design features include larger and lower windows in the full beam master stateroom, creating bigger, brighter owner’s accommodation affording maximum privacy. Full height glass in the saloon also combines with sleek cut away deck bulwarks to flood the living accommodation with natural daylight, bringing an astonishing sense of size and space to the interior for a yacht of its size.  The aft cockpit lounge area, bar and bathing platform is designed with a sociable ‘Beach Club’ feel in mind. Extra touches like the platform level seating and hidden platform shower give it everything owners and their guests need to relax and enjoy the water in style and comfort. The stern garage has plenty of room for a large tender and two jet skis. Based on the classic Sunseeker hull, the 116 Yacht still has performance at heart, and depending on engine options cruises at 16 or 18 knots with top speeds up to 26 knots. Standard guest configuration is for ten guests in five cabins, with up to five crew, but this can be flexed depending on the layout and options selected.

The new 65 Manhattan is an ever expanding model in the Sunseeker range which is a further tweak of the 63 model of the same range. New Model: Sunseeker 57 Predator

A waited model from Sunseeker, the 57 Predator will be the entry level of the renowned range which today starts with the 53.  The 57 Predator indeed shares hull shape albeit a bit extended with the previous 52 and the replacing 53, but contrary to the previous models features a totally new upper structure different from the Manhattan range. This is a striking difference since the 52 and 53 Predator did always appear to be a bit structure heavy versus the sleekness associated with the range. For this reason alone the 57 Predator will feature a smaller interior portion of main deck, with the plus of a larger exterior area aft. The 57 Predator will also be offered just like the 60 model with two main deck options, enclosed hard top with patio door, or fully open hard top for the Summer cruisers. Lower deck accommodation will feature three double cabins; this including an owners full beam stateroom, VIP suite forward, and a double bunk berth guest cabin to starboard.  A C-shape galley is located to port side below deck in between cabins, with an option crew cabin aft with separate entrance.  The 57 Predator also features two tender spaces, bathing platform and a garage aft.  Power are twin Volvo 800hp on shafts, with IPS propulsion being a possible alternative option.

New Model: Sunseeker 86 Yacht

Sunseeker is always re-inventing itself faster then its boats ever go nowadays. That said this has always been a trademark of the currently China owned British Poole town located boat builder. With the new 86 Yacht Sunseeker said it worked to improving its displacement numbers and offer a yacht which can go fast when needed and give good stability and range at slow speeds. On the looks side the 86 Yacht is a continuation of the exterior profile as introduced on the 28 Metre Yacht, while inside it reinvents itself, with the owners stateroom located in a more forward position behind the VIP suite to fore. A big selling point in the 86 Yacht will be the option of a tender garage to aft which fits a jet rib under four meters in size. Power is twin MTU 1925hp which give 30 knots max speed, and a cruise of 24. Sunseeker say that at 10 knots the 86 Yacht is capable of a 1500 nautical miles.

Project: Sunseeker 65 Manhattan

Sunseeker presents the project for a new 65 Manhattan model, with those of you being around at the currently held Southampton 2014 boat show able to see and touch hull number one. The Sunseeker 65 Manhattan continues the recent call of the British Poole based builder to cover nearly everything which is not structural with windows. That means a lot of light inside, even when you do not want it! She will be a four double cabins three heads arrangement below motor yacht. The fourth cabin gets the small size for being a twin bunk berth.  In the main deck Sunseeker presents a two step split level saloon, with an enclosed galley located behind the helm as standard. A more US style open version is also available. Interestingly Sunseeker who is usually the first of the Brits to adapt Mediterranean design trends  has so far not gone into the astern galley concept on any of its yachts.  Worth of note in the 65 Manhattan will also be an incredibly spacious flybridge. Power will be four engine choices with the most note worthy being the twin Volvo 900hp on IPS1200 forward looking pod drives.  The 65 Manhattan is so far the largest Sunseeker on pod drives. Other engine options on shaft drives start from MAN 1000hp, Cat 1150hp, and MTU 1200hp.
