Galeon presents the new 450 HTC, the hard top coupe variant of the second generation 440 Fly model which debuted in early 2022.  That means the 450 HTC is hard top coupe with a fully enclosed patio door main deck, with a sunroof which opens for a third of the coach roof length to let sun and fresh air in.  Beside sportier leaner looks and an opening hard-top replacing the flybridge the 450 HTC is nearly identical to the 440 Fly, full of Galeon fourth generation features like the hexagonal bow shape, and latest in transformational drop down bulk heads which extend cockpit space by another forty per cent aft.  Beside the transformative features the Galeon still surprises for its spaces, offering three different lower deck layouts, from the standard two master and forward VIP cabins layout, to two different three cabin layouts. One of the three cabins layouts moves the master cabin forward and offers two nearly identical sized guest cabins at midships with double berth to starboard, while the third optional layout keeps the layout of the two cabin and offers a third cabin with two bunks berths to starboard and eats away some space from the fore cabin with the bed resting to starboard side from the central position of the two cabins layout.  The Galeon 450 HTS is to be powered by twin Volvo 480hp engines with line shaft V-drive propulsion for top speeds of about 27 knots.

New Model: Dominator Midi Ilumen M35

The smaller Ilumen series has been coming for three years from Dominator, with the first announcement for a mini-sized tender at about seven meters coming in 2020.  In 2022 Dominator announced a slightly larger Midi Ilumen, at over ten meters in length is under construction, and finally the M35 has debuted the past Summer 2023.  A request from a customer who owns a Dominator Ilumen 28M, the Midi Ilumen M35 is a scaled 40% smaller of the bigger super yacht version in both looks and size.  A day cruiser and boat with an exterior layout offering two sun-pads aft with a central passageway which one step down leads you to cockpit with two L-shaped settees, and a wet-bar. The lower deck in the Midi Ilumen M35 offers a V-shaped dinette forward which transforms to a double berth, with a small galley to entrance and well sized shower head opposite to starboard.  In the Midi Ilumen the style versus practicality is a recurring theme, but the M35 has practical details in its own way.  One of the things to like is for example the deep central cockpit wrapped around by the super yacht looking windscreen and radar arch.  The Dominator Midi Ilumen M35 hull one is powered by twin Volvo 300hp diesels for a top speeds up to 37 knots, and a 25 cruise giving an important 350 nautical miles range.

Project: Fiart P48

Fiart Patrovich collaboration enters the second chapter, and present the P48 project set to launch in 2024.  With the smaller fourteen meter P48 designer Patrovich follows what he did with the sixteen meter P54 which debuted in 2022, for a fore to deck sport cruiser with a large central T-Top covering the main living deck area, and two fore and aft sunbathing zones.  The Fiart Patrovich series are near unbeatable for exterior spaces, offering fore to aft spaces, in a wide-body cockpit format which also thanks to a higher freeboard does not sacrifice interior cabin spaces. Differences between the larger P54 and P48 are at the stern, with the P48 offering a fixed bathing platform with optional transformer, unlike the flip platform which when closed closes the stern as in the larger sixteen meter. The Fiart P48 as to what we know is to offer a standard two cabins layout, with a VIP suite to fore and a master room at midships.  Fiart has not communicated power options for the P48, but expect Volvo power with IPS pod propulsion.

New Model: Wajer 44

Wajer continues to expand its line of classic inspired runabout and yachts, presenting its new 44 model which sits in between its long standing popular 38 and second in size 55 models.  The Wajer 44 comes as its larger sisters from a design of Sinot, with naval architecture by Van Oossanen.  Sinot really presented a thing of beauty with the Wajer 44, a classic fitted in a modern profile.  Like the smaller runabout of the sixties which inspire the Wajer 44, it is mostly about day cruising and enjoyment in the cockpit, this offering two aft sun-pads, an L-shaped sofa with bench settee opposite, and dual seat helm station to starboard with a single forward facing passenger settee to port-side.  The cabin area down below the Wajer 44 offers sleeping for two; with a galley to port side, C-shaped dinette to starboard which becomes a double berth, and a forward shower head.  The Wajer 44 is standard powered by twin Volvo 380hp with IPS pod propulsion for top speeds up to forty knots, and a cruise of 26.  Wajer is also declaring a very good range for up to three hundred nautical miles at cruise, although with its declared consumption of 130 litres per hours at 25 knots, which equals to 5.2 litres per nautical mile the range is up to 230 nautical miles without allowing for reserve.

New Model: Sea Ray Sundancer 370

Even though the demand of the North American market is asking a different product, Sea Ray still tries to build, even though in a small part what has been its success story, that for a medium sized sport cruiser.  Here comes the Sea Ray Sundancer 370 which debuted in 2022 first in outboard version, and now offered in the more pure to the eye inboard stern drive variant.  The Sundancer 370 is the pure evolution of the Sea Ray brand, with an innovative asymmetric main deck layout, which offers walk around features from bow to stern.  Down below the Sundancer 370 offers an open plan layout sleeping four in a forward Vee shaped berth, L-shaped lounger, and a double berth at midships with a galley and shower head to starboard.  A traditional American sport cruiser layout.  The Sea Ray Sundancer 370 is powered by twin Mercruiser gas engines 430hp with stern drives, the only available option which gives a nice 38 knots top speed and a limited 135 nautical mile range at 33 knots cruising.  Diesel does not look an option which is a poor way to put an eleven meter sport cruiser in the market today.  Decisions by upper management are not always understood, sometimes looking more made to kill a product rather then revive it.

Looking nearly identical to its larger 38 sister outside, and offering little less in the exterior accommodation, the difference from the bigger model is in the cabin, with the Italyure 35 offering a lower deck with a double berth forward, and roomy shower head to port side.  For comparison the 38 has two lower deck layouts and can be specified with two cabins, and or single head two cabin version.  The Italyure 35 is also offered in the Sport outboard version with twin Suzuki 350hp.  So far a sterndrive version seems not to be on offer, although being a custom builder, I am sure that if someone asks Italyure to make one, they will do it.

New Model: Sealine C335

Sealine continues to update its line of models with this new C335 replacing the 330 model launched in 2015.  The C335 is in reality an update to the C330, recognizable by the larger hull windows, and subtly millimetre extended main deck windows.  Other improvements are in the heads compartment which now has a separate shower stall. The Sealine C335 for ten meters is a practical comfortable enclosed cruiser with hard-top ideally suited to cruise or stay onboard for a week, with features mostly dedicated for Northern climates.  That is not to say the C335 is not usable in sunny climates, but that most of its spaces are cosy and enclosed. Hanse Group have really taken the Sealine DNA at heart which was always about making the best of volume to size, with the German ownership also adding a host of practical details made to make life onboard easy and versatile for the moment.

Project: Rio 45 Daytona

Rio presents the Daytona 45 project, set to debut in the fall of 2023. This new 45 follows on the footsteps on the ten meter S model which debuted the Daytona range in 2020, and fourteen meter L model from 2021.  Again a project of Marino Alfani the Rio 45 Daytona is a sport cruiser with walk around features.  Two large side bulkheads one to each side which are about 25% of the boat length and will flip downward and extend the aft deck floor space and create a massive beach club.  These bulkheads are among the largest per length of boat, and when down and open the floor space in the area is increased by about 50% compared to when it is closed.  The Rio Daytona 45 will offer a lower deck interior sleeping four and a galley.  The standard accommodation area presents itself with a forward island double, and a midships cabin with twin berths.  A tender garage is also located aft, but probably if one would take the outboard options, this is lost, as the Daytona 45 has the feature of having the outboard engines hidden under the aft sun-pad. The Rio Daytona 45 is to be powered by twin Yanmar 370hp diesel engines with stern drive propulsion, which will give speed up to 38 knots.  Petrol gas outboard option is also available from twin Mercury 400hp with top speeds up to 44 knots.

New Model: Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition

Presented in the fall of 2022, the Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition comes as a replacement to the 4800 after five years in production.  Even though called the 4600 she is in reality a bit longer and wider to the outgoing model.  The new 4600 Sport Yacht comes straight out with the luxurious refinement of the Platinum Edition, a feature Rivera introduced in 2019 for the Sport Yacht range which today features three models.  The 4600 Sport Yacht welcomes you aboard the generous hydraulic swim platform, which is followed by a garage, designed to store a range of water sports equipment under the cockpit and can be accessed through an electrically operated door.  A new entertainer's cockpit has been created with a wrap-around lounge across the transom and port side with a timber dining table, and a wet-bar with barbecue located to starboard.  The airy saloon flows to the cockpit through a sliding glass door and awning window. A fully equipped U-shape galley is located on the port side of the saloon space, immediately aft of the helm. A servery and bar unit are opposite. The plush dining space is forward on the starboard side, featuring a large timber table surrounded by a luxurious U-shape lounge that will seat up to six people.  The Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht provides three staterooms and two bathrooms on the light-filled accommodation deck including a full-beam master amidships featuring full head height, a central king size bed and large hull windows that fill the space with natural light.  A two cabin version is also available, replacing the bunk third cabins with a L-shaped lounging sofa.  The Rivera 4600 Sport Yacht is powered by twin Volvo 600hp, with IPS pod drives.  At launch she was offered with the smaller 480hp Volvos and IPS combo but Riviera has since then removed these engines as standard, and with the dry weight of nineteen tons this was a correct call.

New Model: Delta 48 Coupe

Swedish Delta Powerboats has been an interesting boat builder to watch, standing out from the crowd with a practical but yet innovative product offer.  Celebrating twenty years in business in 2023, Delta being founded in 2003, there is no better way to celebrate with a new model, and here comes this 48 Coupe.  This new 48 Coupe is probably the most complete of all the Delta's that came before her, not that they were missing something, but this one has something suiting more the masses in its appearance, interior layout, and fuel consumption.  The Delta 48 Coupe is a sport cruiser with a performance attitude and while her 42 knots top speed number is not super high with the standard twin 440hp Volvo diesel on stern drives, its stepped deep Vee hull with 22 degrees deadrise say another story, which also translates in efficiency and an impressive 500 nautical mile range. The surprises from the Delta 48 Coupe do not stop here, and once you are onboard it delivers again impressive creature comforts below, with a three double cabins layout, and a living dining galley area located on the main deck.

Project: Wajer 44

Wajer present the project for a new 44 model, sitting in between its famous 38 and 55 models.  The Wajer 44 at thirteen meters in length is more voluminous than the 38, yet  more compact than the 55. The Wajer 44 is in short words a spacious day boat that can become a cruiser for two persons. Designed by the usual Wajer team of Sinot for the exterior and Van Oossanen for naval architecture there’s no mistaking, that the 44 is closely related to the 38, 55 and 77 with the classic lines of runabouts of the fifties and sixties again reinterpreted into the 21st century.  This is shown in the swing-over anchor arm which retracts neatly into the anchor hatch, and the cleats seamlessly incorporated into the rub rail, for that characteristically sleek clean high-end look. In addition the Wajer 44 also features the Smart Boating concept, Wajer Owners App to connect to his 44 remotely. With this one can check the anchor position of the yacht during lunch on the beach, the air conditioning and hydraulically operated swimming ladder can also be easily operated via the app to ensure everything is ready when you step on board.  The Wajer 44 offers an interior sleeping two, with a shower head forward and a galley to port side with opposite C-shaped dinette and or double berth to starboard.  Power is from standard twin Volvo 380hp up to 480hp and IPS pod drives propulsion, with speeds estimates up to forty knots from the larger engine option.
