Project: SACS 13 Strider

SACS present the 13 Strider project, which will be the third version of this hull first presented last year in limited edition Lancia di Lancia, and then followed by the recently launched Coupe model. The 13 Strider continues the Christian Grande collaboration who presents a rib cruiser with a lot of open spaces outside, but also offering a comfortable cabin for a couple below. Cockpit, sun pad and aft platform of the 13 Strider have unparalleled dimensions for the sizes offered here. An other interesting design element for the 13 Strider is the centre console with a sporty aggressive look. Outside is also space for a small galley in the cockpit, with a retractable bimini protecting this living area and aft sun pad from the sun. The interior design shows the high class of the rib with exotic wood, elegant furniture and trendy accessories. Four choices of power systems are available from two diesel; Cummins 350hp or FPT 480hp with surface drives, and petrol gasoline; twin Mercruiser 320hp or 425hp with stern drive.

Project: Heaven 42 Open

After making it to the global headlines a couple years ago with the launching of the biggest Rib Yacht ever built the 80, Heaven returns with a more normal sized project that of the 42 Open. Taking similar looks from the smaller 34 Cruiser and sitting in between the sportier 40 Open, and 45 Open models, the 42 Open project is a Rib Cruiser which will measure a length of thirteen metres and will be a comfortable hard top cabin boat but with the added security of a rib. Its cockpit layout is in fact more made for cruising with a C-shaped settee aft, two L-shaped wet bars which can be fitted with an optional exterior galley, and a two person seated helm station. The 42 Open lower deck offers a plan with two cabins for a total of four berths, galley, and a shower head layout. As usual the rib benefits are featured in the Heaven 42 Open like that of a fifteen maximum persons capability, and a top speed of 48 knots with the largest option from twin stern drive engines.

Improve-it = BWA 40 WL

BWA presents an updated improved version of the 40 WL now featuring a more sporty aggressive profile and larger sunbathing areas. BWA has been able to put additional two sun pads on the deck house to the fore deck. At the aft improvements are seen too with the recreational area having a larger size thanks to the extension of the deck above the bathing platform. The stern beach i.e bathing platform is just on the water surface and thus is perfect for fresh sunbathing and to get on board easily. At the helm position there are two anatomical seats and all the passengers are well protected in the aft sofa. The attractive top is used for antennas and navigation lights and the roll bar is also useful as handrail. The streamlined silhouette, presents a very open feature with rib cruiser characteristics, which almost hides the cabin below deck. Accommodation here is a double king size berth, a sofa, table, storage area, and a separate shower head. The cabin also offers the latest in modern furnishings with fine glossy lacquer coatings, and total comfort with air conditioning, hot water, ice maker, LCD television, DVD, Hi-Fi, and led lights with chromo-therapy effect. Construction wise the BWA 40 WL has a very strong Kevlar reinforced fiberglass built, with the additional support of the over seven stages tubes at over two feet in width. Twin Fiat Powertrain Technologies 400hp with Jolly surface drives power the latest 40 WL and deliver a 45 knots cruise with a cruise of 35 knots. At cruise you get a range of about 400 nautical miles. This set up also offers ideal low planning speed with the 40 WL going on the plane at just 10 knots. A very handful feature if the going gets tough.

Power to the Albatro 45 will be offered in many diesel or petrol gas variables and outboards, stern drives, and surface drive propulsion options. Project: Mano 33 Ribman

South Italian boat builder Mano presents the project of the 33 Ribman. As the name clearly states the 33 Ribman will be a Rib Cruiser of medium dimensions with a rigid hull. This will also be Mano's first rib boat. The concept of the Ribman follows to a certain extent what we have seen with the other recently presented Mano project the 32 Gran Sport. Meaning that a big consideration is given to the exterior spaces. Still the Mano does offer a small cabin inside with a two berth facility. The space inside is less to the 32 Gran Sport but as any respected Rib the one outside is larger. Impressive is also the maximum available power with a twin 660hp option available. Certification will be to a CE B standard.
