It seems like they never stop at Greenline, and for Düsseldorf boat show 2019 the Slovenian boat builder will present a 48 Coupe, a hard-top variant of the the popular 48 Fly model.  The Greenline 48 Coupe follows the Slovenian boat builder one level living concept which makes living onboard without any steps between the cockpit and saloon. The 48 Coupe is also offered with a choice of three different furniture woods enabling owners to truly tailor it to there style and wishes. The 48 Coupe offers ample deck space which can be further upgraded with various devices, materials and colors suiting different tastes and requirements. To bring the well being on-board even further, the Greenline 48 Coupe features a full functional wet bar mounted at transom. Accessible from the bathing platform, the wet bar is equipped with a BBQ, sink and a worktop. Also the bathing platform comes in two sizes with the possibility of comfortable tender launching using built-in pop-up chocks and or a hydraulic lifting system.  Below deck the Greenline 48 Coupe presents a three double cabins layout, both served with an independent head.  An optional crew cabin is available aft.  Greenline have been pioneers in hybrid propulsion. Hybrid Drive for the Greenline 48 Coupe is available with twin 14kw electric engines which integrate with twin 10kw generators in combination with twin Volvo 220 HP diesel engines. You can of course choose not to have the hybrid drive which enables you to upgrade the power of the engines up to twin 480hp Cummins engines and cruise at a higher speed.  With Hybrid Drive the Greenline 48 Coupe has a top speed up to 16 knots, with only electric power cruise of six knots.  With the Cummins 480hp the 48 Coupe has top speeds up 30 knots.

New Model: Absolute 48 Navetta

During the 2018 dealer meeting Absolute unveiled the 48 Navetta, new entry level and fourth model to the modern explorer yacht range as visioned by the Italian boat builder which has brought so much success to the firm since introduced in 2014 with the 58.  The Absolute 48 Navetta for a modern explorer cruiser just under the fifteen meter mark offers interesting spaces both outside, see spacious flybridge, and inside.  The interior impresses a lot especially the three cabin guest area of the lower deck with the side looking double berth design of the forward stateroom impressing for its space, which really seems to give nothing less to that of a midships design.  This idea is not new, I remember Fairline and Uniesse using a similar concept in a slightly bigger boat, and I always do think that in between the thirteen and fifteen meter sizes this should be used a bit more instead of going for the simple eqauation of a high freeboard in order to fit a midships cabin.  But the Absolute 48 Navetta lower deck extra space does not stop and thanks to an important beam its port side midships located VIP cabin is also another spacious offer.  Completing the lower deck in the Absolute 48 Navetta is also an aft crew cabin.   The 48 Navetta main deck offers the embraced by Absolute aft galley design and an area which connects with the aft deck.  As all Absolute since quite a few years the 48 Navetta is IPS propulsion-ed and is powered by twin Volvo 435hp engines.  Worth to note is the important fuel tank capacity of 1800 liters which at optimum cruise should give an interesting range.

Project: Beneteau 35 Swift Trawler

Following the success of the Swift Trawler 34, which dominated the small explorer cruiser long cruise segment for eight years, Beneteau announces the project for its successor, the Swift Trawler 35 set to launch this Summer and presented officially in September at the Southampton boat show. The Swift Trawler 35 is stylish and modern with valuable new spaces indoors and gives an incredible feeling of safety on board.  Built on a semi-planing flared hull, developed with Beneteau and Italian designer Andreani, the Swift Trawler 35 has a Cummins 425 hp engine. The flybridge of the Swift Trawler 35 emphasizes the explorer cruisers harmonious profile yet marks her distinctive long cruise temperament. Broad walkways, lots of hand rails and high push pits exceeding regulation standards reveal the importance attached to safety on board. With regard to visibility, the Swift Trawler 35’s wheelhouse has a full around view and is bathed with natural light. For optimum comfort whatever the weather, the Swift Trawler 35 has opted for a modular exterior. Continuing to the far end of the starboard gangway, the awning closing off the cockpit unfolds quickly and easily from the flybridge structure. The exterior blind of the side door overlooking the gangway shuts off this space, providing privacy. The emphasis on protection is repeated on the flybridge with the semi-hard Bimini or soft top with built-in LEDs. The soft top’s stainless steel arch features the elegant Beneteau signature mark and can be used to support antennas and flags.  The Swift Trawler 35 is designed to offer more space on board, so the flybridge easily seats six people.  With an optional fridge, a driving station with repeated navigation instruments, a rotating driver’s seat and a double sun-lounger at the stern, this fully flush living area offers a comfortable experience on the roof of the boat.  The Swift Trawler 35’s interior is as elegant as it is practical, with matching teak and easy to maintain upholstery. The owner cabin is reached through a gullwing door making it easy to move around. The second twin cabin with bunk beds has a spacious and fully fitted shower room with independent shower. Project: Cranchi XT36

After the announcement in 2016, the evolution of Cranchi and designer Christian Grande, is fully underlined by the new model that will debut in the 2017 season, the project of the XT36.  This new Cranchi stands out for its concept, an innovative design that the Italian boat builder says it deserves its own category. The XT36 combines the rationality of a trawler and the thrill of a sports-cruiser. A boat with lively performance and a comfortable experience that will amaze, considering a length of under ten meters.  On the main deck, the large area under the hard top is totally sheltered by a windscreen that offers comfort and protection, without any barriers to natural light and visibility. A sliding glass door closes this area making it pleasant to stay on board at any latitude, in hot and humid climates or in the colder winter months. Even with the door closed, there is a sense of continuity with the outdoor area; this sensation is emphasized when the doors are opened, creating a single spacious living area. The cockpit area, both inside and outside, develops on one level without any steps: everything with the XT36 confirms the idea of an immediate, easy and direct relationship with the sea.  The design of the exterior prefers prominent lines, both forward and aft, to extend the living spaces and give more dynamism and momentum.  In the cockpit there is a comfortable seat and along with a grill and a sink set into a furniture unit. Access to the swimming platform, generous in size, is very easy, as it is to safely move around, with a free obstacle passageway that runs around the entire perimeter of the boat. In the forward section there is the main sunbathing area, plus another one on the hard top, which can be used when the boat is moored. The covered cockpit area houses, in addition to the pilothouse, a lounge with a convertible sofa, and a kitchen.  On the lower deck, all the space is dedicated to the sleeping area, with truly astonishing solutions for a boat of this size. The XT36 will be available in two alternative layouts: with two cabins and two bathrooms, or three cabins and one bathroom.  This last option remarkable for a cruiser measuring just ten meters in length.

Project: Rose Island 12 Giano

Rose Island has always been very intuitive of market trends, responsible to no small part to the Down East lobster boat success in the Italian market.  Rose Island and its design team; Mario Alfani exterior, Aldo Gatti hull, Fabio Rosa engineering, and boat builder Stefano de Franceschi offer a fresh approach to the Explorer Cruiser presenting the 12 Giano project. A two cabin four berths, with a living on the main deck, the 12 Giano also features an unedited keel shape coupled to an innovative exterior which merge Pilot ship like super structure with a modern ax-bow hull shape.  Interesting looks and content, what strikes in the technical details is the 12 Giano two thousand liter fuel storage capacity which is 30% more to the usual standard in this size.  This allows for a greater range which at a cruise speed of eighteen knots give 440 nautical miles autonomy.
