Project: Bavaria 38 Sport

German boat builder Bavaria will start the New Year with a bang, presenting the new 38 Sport in world premiere at Dusseldorf. The new 38 Sport will be an up-market middle class sport cruiser and will challenge the competition, with a design in cooperation with BMW Group DesignworksUSA, a subsidiary company from the renowned German auto maker. This is the third sport cruiser to be designed by BMW DesignworksUSA following 46 Deep Blue, and 28 Sport. The 38 Sport is based on the concept of the recently presented 28 Sport, launched in September 2009 and based on an evolutionary modern style, now synonymous for all new Bavaria without losing the touch to the brand´s heritage. Through the advancement of the Bavaria 37 Sport along with its Highline version, the 38 Sport is a yacht that opens new dimensions visually and of quality for feel and room concept. The spacious cockpit ensures real pleasure with a large seating area, sun and wellness lounges, an integrated wet bar and an additional sunbathing spot, at anchor or at sea. Below decks, the new 38 Sport offers better quality, functionality and comfort with ample headroom, two comfortable cabins as well as a generous bathroom including a separate shower. A modern ambiance where one feels at home immediately and the logical room divisions within an ergonomic design set standards. The 38 Sport will be presented as open version in January at the home for Bavaria German Dusseldorf show. A Hard-Top version will be following it, and will be available from spring 2010 with a newly developed roof concept.

New Model: Bavaria 28 Sport

Bavaria´s new 28 Sport, was world premiered at the Norwegian Boat Show in Oslo on 2 September 2009. The new 28 Sport, is designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA, and was unveiled by Bavaria´s CEO, Andres Cardenas, in front of the builders representatives, dealers, and the Norwegian press. Mirrored throughout the design elements are excellently equipped and feature generous spaces balancing comfort, and practicality all with a high-quality finish. The 28 Sport offers a lot of space for its size, starting with the spaciously designed and well-laid out cockpit area, offering a wide variety of sitting areas ensure there will be a favourite spot for everybody on board. And to ensure there is even more space, there are many storage possibilities. The feeling for space continuous in the lower deck reserved for the accommodation, where here a comfortable height in the salon makes working in the galley enjoyable, while the vee shape saloon to fore a group of at least six people can sit comfortable. Sleeping accommodation is for four guest berths, in a convertible vee shaped settee to fore, and separate cabin aft which has also a nice lounger. Power is from five different Volvo options which includes single or twin engines in both petrol or diesel formats.

New Model: Bavaria 46 Deep Blue SportTop

Bavaria´s new Deep Blue 46, which was designed in close cooperation with BMW Group DesignworksUSA, a subsidiary of the BMW Group, takes the next exciting step following the premiere in January 2009: the first Deep Blue 46 SportTop has been delivered to its owner. This is the second step of what is the flagship of the power Sport Cruiser range, of which should also follow a flybridge model on the same hull lines. Apart the enclosed hard top, this keeps all below similar to the standard open Deep Blue with twin or triple double cabins options and two heads. Engines are the same too with twin D6 Volvo Penta 330hp or more powerful 370hp option.

Project: Bavaria 28 Sport

Bavaria introduces the 28 Sport project, a new entry level addition set to be launched in September 2009. This new entry level Sport Cruiser from Bavaria will be second motor boat which comes from the BMW DesignworksUSA collaboration, a subsidiary of the BMW Group, as seen for the new 46 Deep Blue launched in January 2009. It is standard here to see more of the clear lines and innovative design as seen for the new Bavaria motor boat flagship, and while it shows similarities with the Deep Blue the new 28 Sport will not be as aggressive looking as the bigger sister, but more of a hybrid design between this and the other models of the range. The 28 Sport wants also to be an all-rounder offering a sportive outside and inside associated with a family cruiser. The exterior cockpit deck will feature a sun lounger aft and seating area for five people to port side of the helm station. Inside the sleeping accommodation is for four people with a separated double mid ship cabin offering generous spaces. A spacious head, galley and a convertible vee berth settee to fore completes the interior accommodation. This new Bavaria 28 Sport will replace the current 27 Sport.

New Model: Bavaria 46 Deep Blue


As announced in December, German yacht builder Bavaria presented there new power boat flagship, the BMW Group Designworks USA designed 46 Deep Blue. PowerYacht is happy to bring the exclusive of this much expected new Bavaria, first because its coming from a builder who entered the power market in the last 10 years with much success, and second because of the involvement of BMW in the design of this new 46 feet. The Bavaria 46 Deep Blue is different to the smaller Bavaria motor boats in all. Its design is minimal sports with a high free board hull, with streamline design aft but an aggressive and a retro looking bow. The cockpit is also different with central pole radar arch and c-shaped settee aft for 8 people which can transform to a 2 person sunbed if desired. Lower accommodation deck is a three cabin affair, with owners cabin to fore and 2 double medium sized cabins midship. Power data has so far not been communicated, but engine options start from small Cummins Mercruiser QSD 4.2L of 315hp up to Volvo D6 of 370hp. Technical Data:

Project: Bavaria 46 Open

Bavaria Yachts presents the first boat in an innovative new product called Sport Line: the 46 is designed in cooperation with BMW Group DesignworksUSA. The new Bavaria sport cruiser is the biggest power boat built to date by the German builder, and will offer a generous 3-cabin layout. Bavaria Yachts and BMW Group DesignworksUSA collaborated to develop a sport cruiser, which the German builder says will set new standards in design and functionality. It's sport dynamic will be apparent at a glance with an innovative spatial concept resulting in a 3 cabin boat which will be available as an open, a sport top or a flybridge. The 46 Open will be presented for the first time at boot Düsseldorf 2009 and can be ordered as of January 2009.

New Model: Bavaria 37 SportHT

The new Bavaria 37 SportHT is presented with the much requested Hardtop design, a common version for the 10 metre plus sports cruisers from the renowned German builder in its recent models. As in the Sport versions it follows the modern cockpit layout offering a generous u-shaped settee with abundance of space and a backward looking sunpad for relaxing. In the forward cockpit an additional seat besides the drivers seat is also made available. The interior features a separate foreship cabin, a very spacious salon with a complete galley, a large head with separate shower and the aft cabin offering two single berths that may be converted into a large single bed. The lower deck is designed to offer plenty of storage space, sufficient head clearance in all the areas including the entrance and a comfortable settee. The new 37 SportHT follows the Sport model enhancements compared to previous models with a particular attention to an improved hard top design for an all weather protected navigation, being it sun or rain.

Project: Bavaria 30 SportHT

Bavaria is pleased to introduce the new motorboat of the sport series, the Bavaria 30 SportHT. The new hardtop model will be available as of January 2008 and comes with the extensive Bavaria standards, such as a bow thruster, an anchor winch with anchor and chain, radio/CD – player, refrigerator, 2-flame cooker, warm water boiler and shower in the head, holding tank, AC shore power, battery charger and stainless steel clamps. The new and expanded cockpit layout offers a large settee, a comfortable sun pad, as well as a functional wetbar and an improved helm position. The smoothly integrated hardtop fits into the sporty and elegant design, featuring a standing height of approx. 1,85 m. The redesigned layout with interiors in light mahogany and a modern furniture design provides a pleasant and comfortable feeling, creating a spacious salon that is unusual for this size of boat. The functional galley as well as the u-shaped settee, that can be converted into a bed and plenty of storage space testifies the high standard and the good quality interior of the Bavaria 30 SportHT. The separate and generous aft cabin with a double berth, lockers and bench and a good dimensioned head with shower, round up the positive overall picture of the interior.

New Model: Bavaria 33 Sport

Replacing the Bavaria 32 Sport the new 33 Sport shows a number of general important modifications, with an entirely redesigned interior and cockpit layout. The new interior features a separate foreship cabin beside a spacious salon, a large head, and a complete galley with integrated microwave oven. The aft cabin provides plenty of storage space, two beds that may be converted into a large double, a comfortable settee and sufficient head clearance in the entrance area. Compared to the replacement Bavaria 32 Sport the new 33 Sport has an extended hull in length, wider beam and higher free board. Consequently, besides the extended interior volume, the cockpit is also more spacious and features a wetbar with sink and the optional refrigerator. The spacious, u-shaped settee offers enough sitting space for the entire crew and the backward sunpad is expendable by a backrest folding system. In the forward cockpit an additional seat besides the drivers seat is made available.

New Model: Bavaria 37 Sport

Replacing the Bavaria 35 Sport and 38 Sport is the new Bavaria 37 Sport. Among the important new features is a redesigned cockpit layout now with generous u-shaped settee offering plenty of space and a backward sunpad inviting you to relax, under which is plenty of storage space. In the forward cockpit there is an additional seat besides the drivers seat. The interior features a separate foreship cabin, a very spacious salon with a complete galley and integrated microwave, as well as a large head with separate shower. The aft cabin offers two beds that may be converted into a large single bed. Plenty of storage space, sufficient head clearance in the entrance area and a comfortable settee provides a very generous cabin. The new 37 Sport sees various important enhancements on it's replacements: wider side decks, improved helm, higher free board, larger foreship cabin, more spacious head and added deck hatches with more ventilation.
