Project: Apreamare Gozzo 35

Apreamare, a company which has always been careful about the needs of the market, is never tired of learning from its clients and it is for them that Gozzo 35 was born. This is a new version of the Gozzo Sorrentino that answers the modern styles of life, it looks at the Mediterranean charm without leaving behind North Europe and Far East’s markets and is proposed as an optimal solution even for the ones who wants to offer a charter service that distinguish itself in terms of comfort and exclusivity.  The main point will be the hull by Marine Design, which has already taken part of many Apreamare successful models. The particular feature of this new project is the possibility to install an engine type both in line shaft with a power from 270 to 320hp, and with stern drive of 230 to 320hp.  Furthermore, there are two other versions: the first one with a single engine and the second with hybrid propulsion.  A remarkable effort has been made to develop the boat concept by the architect Marco Casali, who added value to the outdoor spaces of the deck in cooperation with Cataldo Aprea. Both architect and company chairman paid great attention to design the hull with lines that puts it in a more contemporary context while respecting the aesthetic standards of the Gozzo Sorrentino. Apreamare Gozzo 35 is a walk-around boat equipped with a comfy couch at stern with a table that manage to organize enjoyable outside dinner. The walkways are wide and safe thanks to the maximum beam of three and half meters. and a large sunbathing zone with opposed seats is situated at bow. The boat is provided with a T-Top that is used as a base for a kitchen furniture that could be fitted out either with a sink, a barbecue or a hob, a fridge and an ice-maker.  Gozzo 35 lower cabin deck offers an open space cabin with a double bed at bow, wardrobes and furniture with leather inserts and a detached bathroom with a big shower. The style of the interiors recalls the brightness of the Mediterranean architectures and there is the possibility for the owners to personalize the colors of the leathers and the type of woods.  The first Gozzo Apreamare 35 will be launched in Spring 2020 in the historic frame of Sorrento.

Project: Dale 40 Aft Cockpit

So after the positive reviews of the recently launched Dale 40 Aft Cabin by TT Design, the British builder and design firm follow it with a project for the Aft Cockpit version.  Important changes between the two boats, from having one helm instead of two, and losing the spacious master aft cabin of the Aft Cabin version.  Still you do gain a very sweet and conservative line with the 40 Aft Cockpit version which does never look old, and for this you get a spacious just above sea level aft cockpit entertainment area.  The Dale 40 can be powered from twin 300 up to 600hp engines and reach top speeds up to 29 knots with the largest of engine options.

Project: Solaris Power Lobster 48 Hard-Top

After launching the Power 55 in the first part of the year Norberto Ferretti promised that a full line of Solaris Power tradition inspired cruisers will be complete in a two year time frame.  The Solaris Power Lobster 48 Hard-Top will be the next way point in this promise, set to debut in the Dusseldorf boat show 2020.  The Solaris Power Lobster 48 Hard-Top is again a design to Brunello Acampora which at this point we have to believe will design all the range, and its pretty atypical of Norberto who does like to stream line a model brand series range to one designer, to give it character and recognition.  The Neapolitan designer follows the Lobster 55 in the 48 and presents a modern take on the traditional down East element design in a two meter small size.  The Lobster 48 Hard-Top will be offered with two layout choice for a two cabins plus crew, or a single cabin with a lower L-shaped lounger and an extra storage compartment to port side.  The Solaris Power Lobster 48 Hard-Top will be standard powered by twin Volvo 435hp engines which will give a top speed of thirty knots, and optional 480hp which give a rather enthusiastic estimates of 35 knots maximum for only 90 extra horses and the same Volvo 5.5 liter six cylinder block.  A Solaris Power 48 Flybridge is also in the works.

New Model: Tiara 49 Coupe

Tiara Yachts takes the Coupe series to the new with the introduction of the 49 model. Tiara first Coupe the 50 introduced in September 2015 defined a new evolution in design, which later was reflected with the introduction of the 39, 44 and 53 models all in the spirit of timeless classic down east lobster boat inspired design, and backed by Volvo’s easy to operate IPS pod drive system.  The 49 Coupe builds on the successful momentum of the range and elevates that experience with the introduction of expanded interior space throughout. New Coupe buyers will feel the openness immediately in the single level salon followed by the lower cabins and spacious master. Entry to the cockpit is via the port side steps through a manual locking stainless steel gate. One of the most exciting changes on the new 49 Coupe is the rear cockpit lounge seat finished in exterior grade Ultraleather which now incorporates a starboard side aft corner to accommodate more guests while entertaining. A port side aft facing seat and high gloss adjustable teak table add to the ambiance of the open air cockpit.  The hallmark outdoor/in living spaces of the first Coupe model is prominent in the new 49 with entry into the salon via a cockpit sliding door framed by windows on either side. Project: Botnia Targa 27.2

Botnia Targa presents the project for a third generation Targa 27, the Targa 27.2.  The first version, simply Targa 27, which saw the light of day in 1991 has since its very beginning been the main pillar in the Targa range. After eleven years and 200 boats built the second generation, Targa 27.1, was launched. And now, after 400 built 27.1, it's time for the Targa 27.2 to take over.  As always Botnia is true to its idea. Targa 27.2 follows the same concept as the rest of the range with its walk-around, its flybridge and its sliding doors. When it comes to the design and functionality Targa 27.2 follows the same style as the latest Targa models.  The pilothouse is more spacious in both width and length giving an increased level of comfort with four spacious berths in the aft cabin and a standard toilet in front of the pilothouse.   The Botnia Targa 27.2 will be powered by a stern drive propulsion, with power options starting from a standard single Volvo 330hp and going up a 400hp engine option. As it is obvious the Botnia 27.2 keeps  the legendary hull characteristics which has made the 27 model such a success in over twenty years of production and a total of four hundred units delivered.

Project: Austin Parker AP 48 Sportfly

Here at PowerYacht we like what Austin Parker and its designer Fulvio de Simoni have done in recent years and while the inspiration of the hull lines goes to the Down East lobster boat, inside and on deck these are more about an Italian cruiser and yacht then anything else.  For 2018 Austin Parker is currently finalizing the 48 Sportfly, a flybridge version of the 48 Sundeck which was presented in Cannes 2017.  The Austin Parker AP 48 Sportfly will feature a more flybridge deck with helm station to port side, a forward facing settee to starboard, and a sun-pad taking a big percentage of the space available.  For those that don't know that is what most sub fifteen meter Italian flybridge cruisers featured up top a couple of decades ago. For the remaining the AP 48 Sportfly should be very similar if not identical to the Sundeck version which features a lower deck of three double cabins.  Power is from twin Cummins 550hp with shaft line propulsion which give a top of 28 knots.

New Model: Botnia Targa 46

In February 2016, a Swedish Targa 44 owner told the Finnish company that he would be interested in a new slightly larger than the present largest boat model, and at least to start with, it had to be something that no-one else had. An agreement about a Targa 46 Custom in time for delivery in the spring 2017 was made. At that stage we didn’t know if this would be a one-off boat or a model that we later would offer also to other customers. The boat was produced during the autumn 2016 and was successfully delivered to the new owner in Vasa in June 2017.  During the building stages of the Targa 46 Number one and during the season 2016-2017, there was a lot of interest in this boat. The decision was therefore soon made: to launch the new Targa 46 model as a new addition to the Botnia fleet!  In short, the new Targa 46 can be described as an extended version of the popular 44. The Targa 46 hull is 75 cm longer than the Targa 44 hull, giving the boat a total length of over fifteen meters and a hull length just short of fourteen meters.  In order to be able to customize the boat for the customers specific needs, the Targa 46 is offered with three different pilothouse lengths: standard 44 model pilothouse, T44 plus 40 cm pilothouse, and T44 plus 75 cm pilothouse as the picture above shows. This gives the customer the possibility to choose between a really large aft deck, or a really large pilothouse or a proportional compromise between aft deck and pilothouse as in the 40 cm version.
