Project: Steeler 46 Panorama FlatFloor

This new project from Steeler and designed by known dutch firm Vripack the 46 Panorama FlatFloor is one of the most innovative to come around since some time.  To be build in steel and featuring a semi displacement hull the 46 Panorama FlatFloor shows innovative spirit first for its single floor interior and second for its immense use of window surfaces. Another innovation in the 46 Panorama is a Multifunctional tank which can be filled of air, diesel, and water. When filled of water the tank reduces the height of vessel by one feet making it possible to pass for most of the inland waterway bridges in France. If you fill it with diesel your range increases dramatically.  The standard layout of the 46 Panorama is a two cabins plan with owners room to fore, and guest cabin amidships.  All the cabins are located in the main deck flat floor area this also featuring saloon and galley.  Also various options exist for the guest cabin from a separate galley, to two single berths. Three different options also exist for the entrance saloon sofa area, from astern galley, two armchair choices, or two opposite sofa plans.  A semi raised pilot house area features the helm and a relaxing C-shaped settee.  The Panorama series is to be made in four models this 46 being the entry level model.

Project: Steeler 60 Trawler

At the last of 2012 Steeler Yacht from Holland presented two new projects which aim at more blue cruisers long range customers.  PowerYacht showed the first of these with the 47 Explorer a few days ago, and now we show you the more tug boat looking 60 Trawler.  As the builder name suggests the 60 Trawler will be a steel build featuring a deck and a half, with a raised pilot house and very well protected deep ship standard side deck.  The 60 Trawler is designed by Martin Bekebrede who went for a full displacement hull able to tackle all the seven seas of planet earth.  We have very little details of the interior but the yacht mid three vertical windows suggest the choice of a full beam owners cabin.

Project: Steeler 47 Explorer

After gaining quite a following with its new modern looking NG line, the Dutch firm Steeler changes direction and present the 47 Explorer.  As the title in the model designation this new project from Steeler is an explorer cruiser.  This new Steeler also represents a fresh new look outside taking more cues from working canal boats, then from trawler US fishing boats as is usually the case in these type of craft.  Steeler has not passed much information but we know that the 47 Explorer is an all steel build and should weight at about 24 tons.

Project: Steeler NG65 Classic

Its very interesting seeing the Dutch more in the small sizes, and it is more curious to see even more steel used in the sub super yacht sizes.  The Dutch have a tremendous quality name and it seems now that boaters are looking for this in the smaller sizes.  Steeler is one of the handful Dutch builders who are creating a stir in the small sizes and today we present you its new flagship the NG65 Classic.  Interesting this new Steeler will come with a very competitive starting price attached to it which makes it similar to that of most sixteen meter planning fiberglass competition.  Although I am sure if you spec more to this the NG65 Classic price will rise significantly, example in this is that the standard engine is a single Yanmar 320hp.  Standard accommodation plan is for a four double cabins layout.
