Project: Greenline 45 Fly

Coming from the recent appointment of Luka Modrijan as head of product development, Greenline present the project of the 45 Fly a flybridge motor cruiser of interesting proportions and practical design solutions.  Designed outside and engineered as all Greenline models by JandJ studio from Slovenia the 45 Fly introduced the Italian Marco Casali who comes for his first duty for the Slovenian yacht builder.  The Greenline 45 Fly offers a standard two cabins set up, with a large full beam midships owners stateroom, and a VIP suite to fore.  For those wanting more sleeping accommodation the Greenline 45 Fly is also available with an extra third cabin with two bunk berths in replacement of the walk-in serving the wardrobe in the fore cabin.  The 45 Fly will also be offered with an open flybridge or a T-top with solar panels generating clean energy.  Greenline continues its pursuit in hybrid propulsion and the 45 Fly will be offered with an electric diesel set up which reaches top speed of 25 knots in combustible engine mode and six knots in electric.  Standard power set up of the Greenline 45 Fly is for twin 370hp Volvo engine with line shaft propulsion, but clients can choose the same engine or the large 435hp Volvo with IPS propulsion and a reachable top speed up thirty knots.  Launching of the Greenline 45 Fly is for early 2019 at the Dusseldorf boat show.

Project: Rivera 39 Sports Motor Yacht

During the Sanctuary Cove boat show and official launch of Riviera second in size small model, the 395 SUV, the down under boat builder revealed details for a new entry level flybridge the 39 Sports Motor Yacht.  This new Riviera takes smaller flybridge motor cruiser spot from the current 43 Open Flybridge, and by my understanding since it is vanished from the Riviera website it also replaces the 39 Open Flybridge project as presented in end Summer 2017 with the 395 SUV.   For the 39 Sports Motor Yacht, Riviera did not just change the name and some decals but also updated the flybridge design and layout to a more modern European layout of a forward helm station and L-shaped sitting dinette to port side, and wet bar and bench settee looking to the helm to starboard.   A wrap around fiberglass spoiler also fills more the flybridge making it more sporty.  For those who remember the layout of the 39 Open Flybridge project was of a more sportfish design with a back located twin settee helm station, and L-shaped dinette forward of the fly.  For the remaining fly and lower decks the Riviera 39 Sports Motor Yacht is the same as the Open Flybridge or the 395 SUV; with a living all located on the main deck; galley and sitting in the interior, and a twin cabin five berth lower deck layout.  Power will come from twin Volvo 435hp engines with IPS pod drives.

New Model: Prestige 460 Flybridge

Prestige continue to evolve and hereby launch for 2017 the 460 model, an evolution and replacement of the successful 450.  For the exterior Garroni present the new 460 with similar but evolving signature style that has characterized Prestige in the last years, with an expanded, continuous line of windows in the hull being a recognizable difference to the 450. The flybridge integrates the concept of the L-shaped settee, which allows for maximum use of space, and can transform into a large  sundeck.  A new added solution in the Prestige 460 is the exterior galley located to the aft and onto the bathing platform.  The interior layout is redesigned in the main deck now having a galley looking to the side, with the lower deck offering similar two spacious en-suited cabins but loosing the separate entrance it featured for the owners stateroom to midships.  The Prestige 460 is Volvo powered with standard 370hp or optional 435hp engines with IPS pod propulsion.

New Model: Dellapasqua DC10 SL

In the realm of boat builders Dellapasqua is that rare name who always takes the route of a conservative design evolution in the process of renewal of its models.  The new DC10 SL from Dellapasqua follows this theme to the letter and this new SL flybridge replaces the S model before it.  The difference is a soft one with the new SL having glued side profile windows and a design reminiscent of nineties Italian flybridge cruisers.  But do not be mistaken as the DC10 SL for its simplicity in a length of just eleven meters has a lot going for it, in an honest package offering two or three cabins choice layouts below deck.  But choice does not stop here, and DC10 SL can also feature one or two shower heads, and a larger galley option with this moving the helm station to port side.  Power options for the Dellapasqua is a client discretion based with a maximum possibility of twin 370hp diesel engines.  The Dellapasqua DC10 SL is an interesting flybridge cruiser for those who want a no frill simple design with a traditional deep Vee hull shape, with its only let down being the not so large 750 liters fuel capacity.
Technical Data:
LOA - 11.9 m (39ft)

Project: Riviera 39 Open Flybridge

During the Sydney boat show Riviera revealed details for two 39 foot project models set to launch in 2018.  Both new models will share the same hull, and are to be powered by twin Volvo 370hp engines IPS pod propulsion system.  The first model shown here is the 39 Open Flybridge which follows Riviera signature World famous home grown style of exterior looks.  The Rivera 39 Open Flybridge will offer two cabins sleeping five in total; owner cabin forward, and three berth midships cabin.  The two cabins will share a spacious shower head located to starboard in between the cabins.  Living is all located on the main deck which will have an L-shaped dinette and dual seat helm station to port side, and an L-shaped and relaxing couch to starboard.  The aft cockpit deck offers interesting open spaces which is joined by a mezzanine to port side equipped with a small cocktail table, and BBQ grill set up on the aft bulk head.  While not selling itself as a sport-fisherman, the aft helm station on the flybridge and free aft deck space  makes it easy to use the Riviera 39 Open Flybridge for fishing.

New Model: Regal 42 Fly

Regal introduce the all-new 42 Fly. Boasting a spacious flybridge, open air atrium, and a European influenced layout the 42 Fly sees Regal return to a flybridge cruiser.  Regal's last flybridge model was the 4080 Flybridge Sedan produced from 2007 till 2011.  The 42 Fly has cool modern conservative exterior looks, with a soft curved shear line taking you from the water to the bow, and not overly large hull windows serving the lower deck cabins.  The interior of the 42 Fly offers a mix of European American design style with an owners full beam midships cabin, and a choice of a single shower head and a small kitchenette, or two shower heads options. The interesting detail here is that both cabins are fully open no door splitting them.  Still by photos and plans making bulkheads and a door splitting the midships cabin does not seem a hard thing to make, and will be important if Regal wants to sell the 42 Fly in Europe.  The Regal 42 Fly is powered by standard Volvo 370hp or optional 435hp with IPS pod propulsion.

New Model: Sea Ray 400 Fly

Since launching the new 510 series in 2013 Sea Ray has embraced European design with a certain conviction never seen before.  The 400 series is the latest in this important direction, and just behind the launching of the 400 Sundancer model comes the new Fly sister with flybridge. The 400 Fly is an interesting Sea Ray for the boater who wants to embrace cruising with comfort, and this model ticks a lot of boxes not only to the USA boater but as a global flybridge motor cruiser offer. The 400 Fly just like the sister Sundancer embraces the single level living on the main deck, with below deck reserved for the sleeping quarters with the two cabins.  Option and making this Sea Ray is also key to the new mentality of the World known USA builder with the 400 Fly offered with a lot of options and choices.  From a four color choice, optional hard top covering the flybridge, interior arrangement to have a two shower head versus the standard single shower head, and last but not least the extra of an up-down extended bathing platform aft.

Project: Ferretti 450

Ferretti Group's 2016 will be a year of important novelty and expansion. This can be easily noticed since it's headline Ferretti yacht brand has already announced two important upcoming projects.  One project which will be of great importance is the 450, a completely new upcoming entry level model for Ferretti. It's been a while since Ferretti build a sub fifty feet model, and the waiting for customers is now over. Designed by Zuccon the 450 follows design stints as seen on the well received 550, and  in my opinion will also be quite a handful for the major competitors. The 450 indeed will feature a full beam midships owners cabin, and a choice of a standard three double cabin layout; third bunk cabin, or optional two large staterooms arrangement.  The 450 will also feature a very interesting main deck, with an L-shape astern galley serving both aft or internal saloon easily. Flybridge will be usual Ferretti layout of a back located forward facing C-shaped dinette, helm to port, and sun-pad to starboard.  Some details which we have seen on new Ferretti will also be happily featured in the 450, see sliding up down bathing platform, while good to the see that part of the brand DNA as the importance of maximizing waterline length has not been forgotten.  The 450 will come with twin Cummins 425hp or optional 480hp units.  Speed will be a max of 31 knots with the large engine option.
