Project: Overmarine Mangusta GranSport 50

The Palm Beach International Boat Show offered the perfect stage for the Overmarine Group to unveil the Mangusta GranSport 50 project. Designed by Alberto Mancini for exterior and Ausonio and his P.L.A.N.A studio responsible for naval architecture the GranSport 50 is a second in size Mangusta GranSport model sitting behind the much appreciated GranSport 54 model, what is also Overmarine largest yacht to date so far sold in five units.  In the GrandSport 50 Mancini, who designed all the GranSport to date has put new features, with the most noticeable of these being the new integrated raised pilot house, but also larger glazing in the living areas, and an open beach style stern which expands in size with the the drop down side bulk-heads.  The raised pilot house design also brings a new space which can be ordered as a sixth cabin with unique panoramic views, a feature not only unique to the GranSport 50 but also in the fifty meter size. The Mangusta GranSport 50 is to be powered by twin 2600hp MTU engines for a top speed up to twenty knots and a 4,200 nautical miles range at cruise.
