Seven Yachts Wrecked One Damaged at Yalikavak Marina, Bodrum

Seven motor yachts between sixteen and thirty meters in length were wrecked by fire, while a 26 meter yacht sustained some fire damage at Yalikavak Marina, in Bodrum, Turkey on the night of twentieth March.  The fire started on a motor yacht of twenty meters, reported with an explosion, and then jumped to the yachts on its starboard side because of the winds.  Fire fighters, police, and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene from land; and Coast Guard and Coastal Safety teams fought the fire from the sea.  The fire was controlled on the following morning.  No injuries were reported from the fire, with the seven yachts ending wrecked and sunk, and one yacht receiving fire damage, with the amount of damage reported to be over twenty million EUROS.
Of the yachts wrecked in this fire we can spot an Azimut 77s, Pershing 65 Limited, Prestige 550 Flybridge, with the damage yacht being an Azimut Grande 26 metri.
